I have heard Indians (from India) refer to Canada laughingly as The New India. They come in and take over the tech markets whilst employing their own with the best jobs. Go into these companies and see for yourselves...about 85% Indians via Indian recruiters. And then they act as though nothing is out of place as they replace everyone.

What makes it worse, a lot of these Indians, especially in the prairies, already have their groceries subsidized by federal government, and they STILL abuse the food bank. It’s not just food bank either, they all apply for welfare and immediately get assistance even though it takes months to get as a natural born citizen, and that’s even if you get it. I was shocked to find out the federal government was paying indians to move out of Ontario and BC into Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba because the coastal cities infrastructure was about to implode in certain areas. So they they told these people to move inland, and if they do and stay there for 18-24 months, they get $3300 dollars a month every month for that duration. My disability cheque, that I paid into for 40 years of hard work, comes out to 950 dollars a month. This is absurd. These people get literally everything handed to them, and STILL abuse the programs meant for those who are struggling. I have never in my life met such an arrogant and utterly dishonest and disgusting group of peoples in my life. This isn’t just one or two bad apples, this is happening in every city around here. They also get first dibs on any and all medical treatment and specialists. Many local residents who have already been on waiting lists for years to get treatment are getting bumped in order to accommodate the new invaders. It’s basically impossible to find a doctors or dentists office accepting new patients. ER rooms are full constantly of these people coming just for runny noses and coughs, clogging up the already strained healthcare system. The prairies hospitals (at least where I live) were barely holding together before this nonsense. Yet somehow, this is all just white people being racist huh? \nWell I’ll tell you what, I’m not white, my people were on this land long before anyone else can claim to be, and while I’ll admit there’s often still a lot of animosity between natives and whites, youd be quite surprised to see how many of us are in agreement towards the current behaviour of these people.

Why are they taking another 5,000 refugees from Gaza and giving them money. I don’t understand this government and they complain about housing crisis. Where is the government going to put them. How they know if they are not taking Hamas fighters. I am suppose to be retired but this government keep on taking on more refugees and creating more debt which is increasing taxes. The answer is simple, cut immigration, period. Unemployment rate is crazy for students looking for work because immigrants are taking the jobs. Look after your countries people first. What will Canada do, you ask? For starters, it can clear the truckload of foreign workers taking sub-par wages at job sites for my son's 3rd-year electrician apprenticeship - a job he hasn't found any work in for about 4 months now in the GTA. Yes, these workers and the companies that employ them have been illegally using the system meant for workers that cannot be found locally to hire for lower wages than Canadians. Some of them are fully qualified electricians willing to work for $22/hour - just $4.80 above minimum wage - you cannot survive on that in the GTA. So, not only do these workers steal jobs, they drive down wages. The companies need to be fined for misuse of this code.

The media can spin this however they wish, but the essential truth is that finally we are taking steps to regain control over two areas that have been completely mis-managed over the past number of years. \n\nA cutback in the number of refugees and immigrants? That signifies that once again Canada has borders. A country is defined by its borders. Trudeau took ours down causing an immigration and refugee free for all. Now he is being forced to correct that.\n\nA reduction in the number of federal public servants? The government has used federal public service hiring to make its jobs numbers look better. These jobs are mostly high paying and effectively unproductive in that they do not generate anything to improve the economy. Rather than contributing to the economy, they draw on it. I was in the Missouri when i got sick. I drove home and was diagnosed with a brainstem tumour. 10 hr surgery, 4 surgerical teams, icu, wks hospitalization. Months of rehab and homecare. The school even arranged a cab to take my 5 yr old to school. I have seen bills for pts who didn't make it home and had to have surgery in the US before being repatriated back to the icu i worked. It was an eye opener to see what they were charged for a box of kleenex, a catheter, an iv bag etc. I would have lost everything if i had to have surgery in the US. \nMy sister is currently in hosp in the US, and she is getting good care. I drove down last time she was in, and i was impressed by the lovely large CCU bay, but, hey patients are paying for it. She had a fancy postop CABG pillow to splint her chest when she had to coughed. It had a cute surgical heart on it. I am sure it cost $$. In Canada, we give our pts a regular pillow, some iv morphine and tlc when it hurts when they cough, no fancy cartoon pillow, but no bill either lol. She's a senior on medicaid so she's not going into massive debt or dying in her home to avoid going to the hospital.\n \nI have been travelling to the states since 1976 as a young child. I love the states, I have a lot of family there. My dad lived there until his death. My great grandma immigrated and died in Montana. I have heard the average just to have baby in the US is 7-10K not including prenatal care, here in Canada it is zero…\nI have been pregnant 3 times, sadly lost my first 2, and I have had 2 complete knee replacements and several spinal cord surgeries…I would be dead for sure if I lived in the States, here I have paid nothing, I have insurance and that pays for my medication I need to take. I don’t know how people manage down there if you have health issues.

India should stop e-visas for govt employees of countries like the US. Any US citizen who or whose immediate family member is a US govt employee should be asked to queue up at an Indian consulate and given an appointment after 1 year. They should be asked to submit various sorts of documents, submit their passport, wait for 45 days after which depending on the mood of the officer at the consulate, a sticker visa could be issued. This policy should be for OCIs who take up govt job as well.\n\nPS: Egypt had removed Canada from their visa on arrival list after canada began arbitrarily rejecting egyptian visa applications. This has been done in the past

so many come to Canada as students and take all the minimum wages jobs that are for students here in Canada.

Why are indian visas being rejected? Well, could it be that various countries learned from canada, the US, and other developed nations about how indians abused the H1B as well as other visa programs by lying and cheating their ways into those countries. Not only that, once indians get into those countries they caused problems for the governments and people of those countries by shtting on their beaches, refusing to return to india when their visas expire, and playing the victim card when those countries take actions to punish indians for violating their laws.

Ohh, and guess what? a whopping 20,000 of them are Indians. These folks were reported as non-compliant with their student visas, ditching the whole 'studying' part of the deal. Instead, some are busy with doing illegal jobs, while others have allegedly slipped across the border into the US illegally. But sure instead of earning the respect, let's kee p demanding for it...

These students came for an education. You accepted the terms of that student visa and should thereby adhere to those terms. Many countries do offer jobs to international students who excel in their studies if there are available positions in that field that Canadians can not fill. It is Indian recruiters who have sold the residency idea both in India and Canada. It is these recruters that teach them how to defraud our systems and take your money. If you think about it, how many successful companies hire people with strip mall college certificates in high paying jobs.\n\nWho they should be protesting against are their recruiters who sold them this illusion, not our government. There are processes for residency, not privileges.

Google says the average cost to have a child (give birth) in the USA is $18,865. This would translate to $27,207.10 CAD at the time I'm writing this comment. Basically, a year of minimum wage take home pay. Very few people would find that amount of money easy to deal with.\n\nIn Canada it's not only free, but the government pays you monthly amounts if your income is less than what they deem enough to provide for them. This amount can be significant and continues until the child is 19.
