Aight so I went to Calgary in Canada last year for a vacation. I took about 20-30 ubers in total during my trip to Calgary. Out of those 20-30 Uber trips, ATLEAST 17-20 of the drivers were Indian. And ATLEAST 15 of them drove like actual maniacs. One of the drivers literally ran a total of 10 STOP SIGNS in the span of 1 hour, and almost ran over an entire family walking over a crosswalk.. I'm not gonna state the obvious but this doesnt seem right at all.. Maybe I'm just stupid idk.

I went to high school in Brampton in the early 80's and there were no people from India anywhere... it was very much a white anglo town, and then I moved to Montreal for 25 years to work as a fashion designer. (I remember the shock of flying into Toronto on business and walking outside to get a taxi... there was an endless line of Indian guys wearing Turbans, waiting by their taxis. It was a very strange feeling, as I was not sure if I was in Canada or India.) About 10 years ago, I moved back to Ontario to live in Guelph and had heard the joke about Brampton becoming 'Bramladesh' by people at the dog park, and in the past 5 years, (since they built the massive temple in Guelph) the place has turned into a mini India, as EVERY house put up for sale, is bought by a family from India, with 4 or 5 cars in a 2 car driveway, (strangely, as soon as they move into the house, they all rip out the asphalt driveway and replace it with white concrete??) they seem to be a tribal people and every house is filled to capacity, as the husband and wife are with their kids, the brother and his wife and their parents, all living together. (They are friendly people and they don't cause any trouble... my only issue is the intense stench of spices from their house that fill the air 24/7 to the point that you cannot sit in the back yard or open a window, without being punched in the face from the powerful odour of spices!)

People crying for lack of jobs, what are your qualifications ? Your are expecting to compete with people from high academic backgrounds with half ass high school diploma, how many of you went back to work during covid or after covid? Do you understand how many Canadian Citizens want to sit at home and push for UNIVERSAL INCOME, where will the tax dollars come from if the students stop paying the obscene amount of fee, the goverment knows this but you uneducated Canadians don't lol. Yes I agree that no one can demand PR by protesting, it's a not a right. But this blatant bashing of one particular segment of immigrants, this the most fucked form racisim, if you moved here from Nigeria/Cameroon/Zimbawe/Paksitan or any other country, you guys think you are better than Indians ? Anyone who is an immigrant here is no worse/better. You guys are promoting hate cries against one particular nationality. It is very clear that the agenda is to target a specific segment only.

Does anyone remember the first time Jr. went over to India, and he was dancing like a fool in that attire? Yeah, that should have been our first clue as to his intentions for our nation.

It sounds like these international students were lying from the start. They claimed they came for an education but when told they have to go back when they're done they cry victim. Nobody promised them any kind of future, just a paid for education if they could afford it. Can you imagine if we behaved that way if we went to study abroad??

Be like other countries, when your study permit is done, Go home and apply for visa in your own country. Also the students know witch countries they can exploit . If they went to China as soon as their visa expires they have to leave.

Go and research the late Sir Peter Ustinov's documentary about countries in the Pacific. He did one episode on Fiji where in 90 short years Fiji went from a laid back Maori country to an Asian dominated one. In those 9 decades Fiji was swamped by Indians from Southern India. They took over the Judiciary/Medicine/Armed Forces/ Politics/Education/Police and the Fijians found themselves strangers in their own country. Racism against Fijians by the Asian interlopers is so great many Fijians flee to Australia or the UK to find work and a home.

These students are from very wealthy families who often have housemaids and servants to do domestic chores and who can afford to pay ridiculous student tuition for a second-rate Canadian post-secondary education. There are top Indian schools where it costs maybe 1/8th the cost and the education is very, very good (e.g. Indian Institutes of Technology) and certainly better than what they are getting in these second-rate diploma mills in Ontario. Moreover, there are very good tech jobs in India in cities like Bangalore. What these students are really after is Canadian citizenship, through a pathway that does not require strong qualifications. They were promised that by Indian immigration consultants. With Canadian citizenship, it is much easier to travel and live in the US, where many of them want to go (and some are even now entering illegally). \nA second reason is that these younger adults want to live independently from their parents. Many of them arriving in Canada are living on their own or with other students, for the first time in their lives, and are enjoying a lot more freedom from Indian social norms such as not being able to date people of a different religion or sexual orientation, or to marry the person of their choice instead of having parents involved. Three or four generations ago, when a lot of immigrants came after WWII, those from India were coming to large research universities or engineering firms and had a job or full fee waiver or university fellowship waiting for them. They were much more qualified and went on to be doctors, professors, business people and other professionals. This is what largely composed the Indian diaspora in Canada, until this wave of students brought along by the current government which admitted over 200K Indian students -- per year.

Canada is more corrupt than some third world countries. international student were sold a dream, they paid 3 times tuition fee, work three times, and they will pay employers 35 to 40 thousand dollar for Fake LMIA to get PR. I lived in vegas for a very short time, it was planned to be living there but we went back to Canada. I am dual citizen either way. I will say that i like what that robert bigalow was doing with the budget suites. I stayed there temporarily. It would be so awesome for canada to do this for the housing crisis. It was back in 2005 but it was $500 rent each month and there wasnt huge barriers to be able to rent. \n\nHealth care was scary yes, im not used to that kind of way being indigenous and having my status card. I am a Canadian citizen and have been living in Saskatoon for 4 years, but I still don't have a family doctor. Last time I went to a clinic and tried to register for a family doctor. A receptionist told me that the doctor in my neighbourhood didn't accept any new patients. This is ridiculous if a Canadian who lives in the neigbourhood has to go several KM away to meet a family doctor.

My Debbie’s son went to Australia for a couple of weeks when he was 19. Overstayed his visa for 2 1/2 years. He is 44 now and is a citizen of his adoptive country. ❤

I was nearly driven into a crevasse in the Roger's pass by a Sikh trucker. It was in March after a heavy wet snowfall. It was at night and the fastest I could go was 70 km/h. I could not let him pass because the passing lanes were not plowed, The driver kept ramming into my back bumper. It was snowing. It was the middle of the night. It was a whiteout snowstorm. I live in a high rise tower in Dubai and Indian national move in the building and White people moved out. Because of the cooking smell,non respect of the rules ( people mess up the gym,have no boundaries ( they will take over your training machine without asking) will train right in the middle of the space where people have to walk by to use an other machine) do not say thank you when you hold doors for them or will walk right pass you when you open the door for yourself or your child. Im an Indian from the state of Kerala. In my class from college nearly 20 of them came to study in Canada. Believe me these people who come are not that academically good the fun fact is that the academically brighter ones never went abroad all of them got a decent job in India itself.. I'm not saying that all of them coming are trash my ex gf now in Hamilton was extremely bright and got a decent job there..the basic issue is that Canadian government must have strict standards for foreign students Australia has it. As an Indian I feel your frustration feeling like stranger in your nation is very sad. ? Fellow Indians seeing this there is Malayalam saying that when you got to a land where they eat vipers you must eat it's middle portion. So try to become a Canadian don't turn Canada to India.
