Why do we need detention camps? Once an illegal gets caught by ICE, then bring them directly to the border and just send to the other-side of the border wall. That’s it. If this keeps going on, then numerous illegals will leave the country by their own. Also, ICE should raid the employment companies, stores, gas stations, and all possible illegal employment facilities very frequently to not only catch the illegals but also to charge a big amount of penalties to those employers. This will fund the deportation costs and tightening the illegal surviving in US will diminish this illegal flow. This process happened in past after the twin towers attacks. The republican administration knows very well how to push back the illegals.

Of course they will all invade Canada. They were illegally in the United States but what will Trudeau do when they invade us.Canada is too weak to do anything to keep them out. No army or navy to defend a country with such a large land mass.

There are many people that voted for Trump that is against mass deportation of law abiding illegal immigrants, but are for deporting violent criminals and securing the border and keeping illegal immigration out. Jesus! Why is he able to even RUN for election again? Look into interference of this election! Trump claims fraud until he wins. Milwaukee had trouble with open doors on machines for 30k ballots. Wisconsin also had several distractions like bomb threats (FBI confirmed they were Russian sourced) to the polling stations. There were hundreds of ballot boxes on fire, intercepted ballots and a senior home for Russians had forged signatures on their ballots. Why are we letting this man be president with 34 felonies? Other felons aren’t allowed to vote. What does he have on the rest of his flying monkeys to keep them in place? Why didn’t the Republican party nominate a better candidate?

As a Democrat I guess I’m more middle on this issue. We damn sure shouldn’t be giving away millions to immigrants that come here illegally and have to be placed in make shift homes and millions on keeping them in expensive hotels in New York or any hotels for that matter. But we are part of that problem putting back breaking sanctions on their countries. And if we stopped the sanctions they’d probably be able to have jobs where they were. And not cause massive immigration.

The kind of deportation Trump has been talking about has gone beyond people that are here illegally. Trump has expanded it to include what he calls 'undocumented' migrants. That group includes people waiting for their asylum hearings, DACA recipients and protected status migrants/refugees, and people that have already had their asylum hearings, but are awaiting their citizenship hearings. \nAs for the narrative about 'murderers' and 'violent/horrible' criminals being in our country, it's like....wait...what??? Now, if you KNOW a person is a convicted murderer or horrible criminal, WHY would you allow them into or allow them to stay in this country to begin with? And, you'd kind of have to allow them to stay, otherwise, how the hell would you know how many of them are here?? Or who they are?? You can bet your butt that Pres. Biden didn't allow any people like this, that weren't in our prison system, yet 'known' to remain on US soil. That's not how it works! Not to mention, a large portion of the 13 to 15,000 number that Trump and the Right keep tossing out there, are from when Trump was in office! NOT during Pres. Biden's administration! \nIt's all been a lie manufactured for one purpose: to scare monger Trump's base. And it worked. Now Trump 'has a mandate' to put on an insane, cruel, probably hugely illegal 'show', of him rounding up large numbers of people and shipping them off to who the hell knows where..... whether they were here illegally or not. (he's already vowed to deport the 20,000 Haitians in Springfield, even tho they entered the country, LEGALLY, while TRUMP was president! HE is the one that signed their protected status into law!) Trump's deportation extravaganza is going to be ugly, brutal, bloody, grim and senselessly cruel, to a great many people that more likely than not, have no reason to be deported.

I worked in Criminal Court (NYC Metro area) for many years. We always checked for Immigration Holds on those who were arraigned in our courts. How it plays out is that INS would take a long time to appear where detainee was. Court (local w/ separate budget) wants to process the case quickly just like the local jail want to discharge because it cost money to keep people locked up. If INS is not fast enough to appear the people are released.
