CANADA is a real nightmare for international students, and the visas must be renewed every two or three months. My cousin went to school there and she had a hard time. They wanted proof of income from her parents and the source of their income. It is too cold there and it is not for me. They have empty land and need workers. They want them from Europe and not Africa or the Caribbean. Students in other countries get a yearly visa and don't have to submit documents monthly. It is ridiculous and grossly unfair.

95% of the Canadian problems are by- product of this unlimited immigration especially International Students …. Majority from India.

Many of the canadian are unemployed because international students work for cash or cheap . The housing is also more expensive because of many immigrants. Just go back home and make your own country great to live.

Eventually, something has to be done to open eyes of people that Canadians had turned off their universities. I do not care what will be with new comers, we need some educated youth at the end. Government, do whatever. Try this and that, were have more internationals in almost all universities. That might have an impact when french and english will turn into indigenous tribe.

Just chill. There is no mass deportation. There is a ban to entrances as two large conflicts growing to the loss control point. In 1941 we closed boarders for immigration for a year. Same thing will be around going on now. Strangely, because, the amount of illegals we get is huge and small relating to the conflicts. Why deportation is impossible? It is. The child may get a letter of apology, good compensation and be sent home. Education in Canada is expensive. The amount of kids who can not run budget of studies is great, These fake students stuck in our kids professional growth. They learn international issues at the universities, fail the courses and can not go through the appropriate career. It may not change though for while. Have a good luck, Canada!

Canadian government has to adopt Australian model for immigration and student visa. I lived in Australia and in 2009 indian students protested against Australian immigration policy , Within 6 months of crackdown 1200 low quality colleges were shut down by government and thousands of international students including me were Struggling and left Australia but that was i think good for Australia. Same needed to be done by Canada. 70% of students come to earn money and do 2-3 jobs and Canadians are struggling while employers getting cheaper labor and making money..

This is the clearest one so far that let us know why and how those massive increasing of so called international students and the overflow of non-Canadian workers in so many entry level positions. They’re taking\n advantage of Canadian’s kindness and hospitality.

Many things to unpack. Australia, which is similar to Canada, is having similar issues. The gov does not monitor at all and only actioned when the UN reported a new slave class was being created. Many students from India don’t have funds to study abroad. Universities got hooked on international students and Tim Hortons got hooked on cheap labour. The entire Canadian system is f’d up. PP won’t fix it either because he needs big business. Canadian kids have no future.

I think you should stop blaming international students and rather attribute it to India students.

Canada needs to adopt the US immigration systems on international students and immigration.

Definitely the Indians. Mass migration, nobody can fucking drive, stealing all the jobs, exploiting our international student and temporary foreign worker visas to the point of slavery and a housing crisis where they're living 20-30 or more in the basement of a house. I am a 4th generation Canadian (european decent).\nMy ancestors came here and didn't try to change it into a colony of where they came from, they adapted to the Canadian culture that was apparant at the time.\nThey blended in quite quickly while maintaining there home country culture at home or at community centers.\nI have welcomed immigration my entire life and still do. Almost every university in canada and elsewhere have thousands of international students from hongkong but we never see them working in timhortons. They do not line up in thousands for grocery store jobs

Another fact there is alot of illegal indian immigrants. Who also abuse international student program to get entry into canada not to study. The rise in crime has come from Indian immigrants. We had our airports robbed a canadian was robbed of there money and jewelry which is now in indian and dubai and these criminals left canada to theyre home countries. The indian international students have alot of money in the bank but theyre showing up to homless aid places where they canadians give homeless canadians food they show up there and droves with the 15 household members taking all the food then making youtube videos on how to get free food in Canada. And now these international students specially the ones from india. They are selling fentaly, there stealing citzens and business vehicles and kidnapping. You can look this up yourselfs. Its not canada its not government its these international students fault.

Too much international students cause higher unemployment ,too much rent, doctors appointment delay, house price too much lots of other problems . Need to cutdown under 200000 , make the country like 10 years before. We are fed up with govt wrong policy.

Canadians can't get into university because universities make five time the money from international students. At one point the university of Alberta held 60% of the MBA program spaces for foreign students.

Most international students are attending a non-accredited institution that charges a hefty price tag with no qualifications required and many students don’t care as long as they can enter the country. These private colleges are a joke. Most businesses wouldn’t take these diplomas seriously anyway.

At the least, international students should not be allowed to work here. If they really came to study in Canada, thry better study and do not go to Food banks and collect free ration or work in Tim Hortons to make money. If they came to canada as students it means they hail from filthy-rich families otherwise how can they afford? If it is so, why do they have to work here? Local students are not getting jobs. Make it mandatory for every immigrant who wants to work or study in Canada to pass Canadian exams in english and french before ever coming here and agree to bring family or extended family here ..also international students after there school is done leave the country and are also not to work while here

International students are in Canada for education only. They should go home voluntarily after graduating as per their visas. If they don't they should be deported. Period.
