Gosh I've been in Canada for 14 years. Trying to do everything by the book when it comes to immigration. Came here as a student, graduated from engineering 8 years ago and now working in the aerospace sector. The harsh winters in Canada have always been a negative living here but the quality of life used to help make up for it. Sadly, that just isn’t the case anymore. \n\nWe were able to buy simple family home on 1 acre of land back in the 80s with only one income. But the ever rising cost of real estate has made home ownership out of reach for many young people today. Burdened with high student debt, astronomical rental rates, and the high cost of living, most young people are living paycheque to paycheque. It’s a struggle just to keep one’s head above water, let alone build any savings for the future. \n\nI have two adult millennial children who find themselves in that position. They both have decent jobs but they’re just getting by, not getting ahead. Our governments in Canada have certainly failed us thanks to Justin & Jagmeet. Voting has consequences so vote for Pierre Pollievue in 2025 . Hopefully he can enact change to get our country back on track . It will take decades to fix but this country is blessed with talented people and vast resources. Instead of Looking else where for the labour why cant Germany train its youth. Even though the population is low lot of German youth dont even complete a bachelor let alone masters . I moved from the UK to Canada 28 years ago. It was great for 26 years to Mr. Trudeau ruined Canada. These people bring incompatible values with our european culture. They view women and LGBT and christianity MUCH more negatively than us. They also do not speak Greek, Italian, French or German.... they are also known to have more children than us... long story short: they will replace us (native European population) if we keep on letting them in. They also rarely have qualifications and degrees. So in a way they will not fund our pensions as (at least in Italy) most of them are drug dealers which corrupt our dwindling young population...

We dont need MORE people, we need a more QUALITY peoples, like our forefathers. We have all be letting that slide with tolerance and acceptance; allow lines to be crossed.

Canada is a failure because it doesn't utilize its mass resources and it inflated the economy and let in ways too many people in too short of time which made housing some of the highest in the world. Its hard to do business, taxes are high but see no benefit, and nearly 1/4 canadians work for the govt living off actual productive people. Its the perfect combination for a collapse with Trudeau

The real issue is Canada is letting in the trash other nations that they no longer want. The people coming into Canada are the people who cant make it in their own countries. It's really sad to see this ..these kids don't come from great financial backgrounds ..and looting them for 20 to 25 lakhs is like a crime. It's like more educated way to loot someone. I went on an Office visit to Toronto back in 2013 when basement costed around 700 to 800 CAD, the student's situation wasn't that grave. One could see students, but not many. I'm a live in the US and I'm a legal immigrant but I too recognize that we are accepting people in that we don't need. We ought to let more doctors and nurses in because we have a healthcare shortage right now that's hurting everyone.

How about we stop. Deal with everything first. catch up and then let more people in and people who provide what we need as a country.

What about sending official letters to all utility companies that the unit is being housed illegally? Don't people need official documents to maintain and/or open utility accounts? I would devote my energy to removing their energy. Then let winter do the rest.

Its simply unsustainable. Most countries cannot even help their own people, so why are they letting more illegal immigrants in the country. Not against immigration but Canada has let in Way too many people way too fast , the system can't handle it and not enough housing / jobs .... Canada is starting to look like a 3rd world country now sadly

As an Indian student, i would like to share with you my perspective \n1) you will never see me dancing in public, blasting music and littering \n\nI actually spend my sundays cleaning plastic from trails \n\n2) i am a full time student for 4 years funding over 90 grand for a bachelor on top of that paying my taxes and paying 1100$ a month for rent being limited to 24 hours a week I do not work outside campus I work the job the college provided to me \n\nThe problem comes up when people use the 1 year and 6 month diploma program to enter the country and work here full time \n\nThey associate themselves only with indians mainly because they cant speak the English language fluently \nTherefore they associate with the exact people they associated with back home \n\nHow will they adapt to a new country if they hang out with the same people \n\n\nI came to canada with a goal \n\nTo make Canadian friends \nLearn about Canadian culture \nStart a new life \nAnd work my ass off to get my degree \n\n\nMost people move here to make more money \n\nThey sell their land and do so \n\nPlease do not associate hard working indians who adapt and leave their past behind with these people who have come here purely to exploit the system\n\n\nTrust me I know it's hard to hear this but good Indians do exist.
