I don’t know who needs to know this but as of 2022 if I’m not mistaken backed by the federal banks and the global banks, Mexico is not or no longer considered a third world country for the record it’s considered an upper business class country and it’s on the rise. It’s number five in the world for importing the exporting Number one is Mexico. I just wanna let that sink in. I really do hope that President Trump and the president of Mexico I hope they both come to an agreement because it will not be beneficial for both parties. At least the one who’s gonna fill it. The most will be US. It’s just gonna force Mexico to look elsewhere not to mention Mexico was back by the US dollar to an extent, and it also has the back of the euro force along with the Chinese currency Mexico forced to be reckoned with not to mention all the car companies that are being Located in Mexico cars that enter in and exit Mexico in the car market not to mention Mexico now has the biggest cobalt mining probably in the world if I’m not mistaken Mexico is now in demand. Mexico knows this now but it’s not stronger than the US but if the US no longer cooperates with Mexico in Mexico, no longer cooperates with the US well it’s gonna be pretty sad not to mention the amazing history they have Like when Mexico along with Brazil defended the US when they were crippled by Japan and when Mexico went to help liberate during the Nazi invasion in Austria, Mexico has a great history of warfare and defending this country as well. I’m proud to be American and I love my Mexican heritage. I just hope it doesn’t go too far

Thank you for summarizing these key changes! Many problems are actually the Canadian immigration system not learning from the mistakes of the US system and now it’s suffering the same consequences. If Canada cuts down on those selected immigrations but still takes in refugees, it’s only going to make anti-immigrant sentiment worse. Selected immigrants are allowed into Canada to help alleviate Canadian issues…or at least people who come through Express Entry are less likely to become a burden. On the other hand, refugees, given their unfortunate circumstances, really need to rely on a lot of social services and resources to help them resettle. The US has eliminated pretty much all non-humanitarian immigration that’s why immigrants are so demonized there. Americans only feel the drags of refugees and asylum seekers (even though ethically we need to protect them) and there is no selected immigration to balance that out. Yet this round of Canadian policy change is heading exactly that direction.\n\nIt used to be international students in Canada are not paying a lot more tuition than Canadian students. But Canadian universities saw how much money universities in the US are making so they asked the federal government to change the policy to enable them to charge international students several times the regular tuition (whereas in countries like France, international students actually pay less than citizens). So now Canadian universities rely too much on international students to operate and it becomes an exploitative relationship even before students step foot on the campus. The new PGWP eligibility is awful because students can make contributions in every field. It might (and that's a big if) address the pressing problems, but it won't help Canada grow.\n\nI thought the new language requirement was interesting. Some Canadians who immigrated decades ago when the bar was really low still speak English poorly and now they are saying people can’t come to Canada because their language skills are not sufficient. Another point about language is if you apply through Express Entry now, even if you scored the highest language score, given how competitive the pool is, you still won’t get selected. So it’s a given that you need to be fluent in one of the languages at least to get an invitation. Express Entry also selects only the top people, I saw the head of The Institute for Canadian Citizenship in interviews talking about those top-tier people only expect the best treatment/lifestyle when they come to Canada. That's why many of them leave after seeing these Canadian problems play out. But I believe a good Canadian life is not about living in a high rise in Vancouver and Toronto, driving an expensive car, or buying luxury items...it's about the communities, nature and middle-class comfort. So the system is giving PRs to the wrong kind of people (just like mismatched people when hiring that don't align with company values).\n\nThis brings me to the last frustrating issue. There were so many people who attended “fake” universities and bought “fake” jobs to earn points to get an Express Entry invitation. And it's clear that the government wasn't proactively catching these abuses. They are taking up spots from those who try to earn the points fair and square. If I understand correctly, Canada doesn’t send these people away if they are found out (since some of them were scammed). So they still take up immigration quotas.\n\nI have wanted to move to Canada for a long time. I have visited Canada many times, hiking trails through the coastline and fjords, climbing mountains and glaciers. I lived in Montreal for two months to improve my French and I was told by my homestay family that I was the first student they had who didn’t complain about the cold (I wish the winter never ends so I can skate or xc ski in the parks year-round). I have probably seen more Canada than many Canadians and I love every bit of it. But the opportunity for me to even get a shot to move there is pretty much nonexistent now. If only there was a way for the system to allow people who really care about Canada to get a shot at being part of this beautiful country.\n\nThank you for making these videos.

Balancing the budget would also require curbing excessive military spendings, and if necessary, asking Americans to contribute slightly more, all to address our $36 trillion debt. It seems to me better than punitive percentage tariffs is that each foreign country can buy American products first from tracked like product categories. The United States Counts how many units of that type of United States made product was bought first by a foreign  country. Then United States consumers, or companies are allowed to buy the same matching unit count of foreign products from like categories.  In this way no foreign company selling into the United States can fluid the United States Market with cheap foreign government subsidized goods. In this tracked unit count system of fair trade one American made unit sale for one foreign made like unit sale can take place.

That can’t be good. Putting a 25% tariff on Canada and Mexico could cause a lot of problems. First, they might fight back by adding their own tariffs on U.S. goods, which would hurt American farmers and businesses that sell products to those countries. Mexico has been imposing tariffs on Americans, and Mexican’s, for taking their cars over there for a long time. \n\nYou have to pay for a permit, along with a hefty deposit (depending on the vehicle year), to cross your vehicle into Mexico. You can cross into the border towns, but if you want to drive further in, you have to pay. \n\nThis is done to eliminate competition, instead of letting the market dictate the pricing. And if you don’t return your permit, you don’t get your deposit back and lose the ability to cross any vehicles for life. No, how is that fair?!\n\nAnd you STILL see Mexican nationals buying vehicles here, and just paying the hefty tariffs, just to legalize their American vehicles in Mexico. \n\nWe can just start there, and do the same thing to them. I don’t think they’d like that one bit.

I agree in that this most likely won't solve the issue put more stress on the population and business enterprise. Climate issues will make these plans even more problematic. We currently have issues with some of the effected industries domestically. We are having to many food recalls to create import price spikes even in building materials. It's already been reported that the drugs are coming into the country in American cars...sounds like a job for man's best friend...drug canine units. Putting more efforts in less drug cou consumption could help because unfortunately druggies will be druggies and find a way to get their supplies. We would be better off in controlling the drugs in this country than leaving it in the hands of criminals!

Why doesn't CNN talk about how tariffs raise prices for Americans??? Seriously, a lot of the problems we are facing now, is because media like CNN, isn't telling what exactly this stuff does, they normalize and that's why Americans are unaware of what tariffs really do. Also, Mexico has said they'll deport Americans that are there as well.
