I came to this country with a very selective immigration program and I chose Canada because of this. And my surprise is that now they come only by paying for their studies and these people do not have the financial capacity to support themselves and they are a tragedy for their families and themselves. And they are given jobs that belong to Canadians and health care is paid for by our taxes.

I’m a skilled worker from Germany and went to the US in order to build wealth, pay low taxes, earn double. I don’t understand why people from abroad seek Germany where they earn little and have to learn German instead of going to the US.

The real tragedy here is that workers need to become landlords to shore up their retirement, this is one of the key culprits in the housing crisis - you have to take someone else’s house and force them to pay you rent because you got there first. Borders exist for a reason. It’s not fair to citizens of ANY country to dump hoards of unknown, unvetted people onto us and our cities AND expect us to support, educate, provide healthcare and pay for them. People from poor countries think westerners and Europeans are all rich. In our societies we work extremely hard and sacrifice our entire lives to have a good future and healthcare if we need it. We pay a lot of tax to have safe cities and towns. When you dump thousands and millions of people into our countries we all sacrifice even more and cannot access housing, healthcare or social programs because they are overwhelmed helping illegals. That is not fair to citizens of any nation. The real difference would be teaching poorer war torn countries how to build fair societies. How to build an economy. How to develop a democracy. How to root out government corruption. How to be tolerant of other religions. How to take care of your own citizens!!

Germany would never attract people to IT, only from places like India. \n\nPlaces like Poland pay similar salaries, with super competitive tax options and a much lower cost of living. And English is much more common for the job market. \n\nUnless you want a passport, Germany is just terrible

Future skilled labour employment is going to be extremely difficult in EU countries! These countries need to move their industries and Jobs to Asia because they are competing with China! It’s too expensive to pay for a skilled labour in Germany as compared to for example in India. Fewer jobs with good salaries will create a lot of Hate in future local generation. You are expecting people to move here for low wages and speak Good local language while it’s difficult to get apartment, too much bureaucracy, racism, there is no inclusivity. So, Good Luck solving your problems?

This is a lie. Many skill workers are seriously searching and not employed because of low pay, bureaucracy, etc. Stop companies from hiring abroad and take care of their people. It will prevent non cohesiveness in communities in Germany and Europe. Did you not see that people of Germany want less and less immigration?

Adapatability for people has to be from both Germans and immigrants. But as you mentioned despite Germany need skilled workers the companies are not ready to adapt new changes. Despite immigrants pay all the taxes yet it is difficult to survive. So what's the point for immigrants to choose germany ?

People always seem to be surprised about why populations turn against immigrants. Small numbers of immigrants that assimilate into your culture that don't require a lot of social services can be absorbed into the social fabric of a town, city, or country. Massive influx of foreigners don't speak your language and require years of social benefits that they don't pay in to, rapidly turn the existing population hostile. Morality has nothing to do with it. There is a reason Sun Tsu had an entire chapter in the Art of War about using refugees to overburden your enemy and destroy him afterwards.

The main issue is and will be the German language. They are quite picky about it all the time. If skilled workers are getting a job which has a higher pay (higher working hours, uncertain market) in the USA, people don't mind taking it, learning a new language, high tax, kind of average salary is not going to appeal to a lot of people. Nowadays they want German language requirements for a software engineering job! People aren't open, really old and slow daily life, too much paper work, the list goes on....

I am a racist. I want the fruits of my labour to go to my own descendants and to the descendants of the other people who paid for our infrastructure and public services. Isn't it already super restrictive and not easy to get into the country for the immigrants? Only highly educated, young people with rich parents are welcomed lol. Here in China, housing is so expensive that many young people give up on dating and getting married. The tenancy board is allowing this knowingly. Why do home owners have to follow different rules than the banks. If home owner doesn’t pay his mortgage, the bank will take his house in no time. The tenancy board does this to immigrant home owners more than to anybody else. They are forcing people to take law into their own hands.

Please, blame the govt. I don’t think citizens or immigrants are to blame. Finding stable work in Canada is a challenge these days even for permanent residents/new citizens. No guarantee of work even after acing an interview and building skills as needed. At this point I feel like immigrants are just tax paying scapegoats, who are used by the government and hated by local people. This is not real inclusiveness. Govt must give priority to their citizens and encourage immigration if there are real opportunities to offer. Everyone needs work and stability inorder to live a civilized and stable life. As an Indian student, i would like to share with you my perspective \n1) you will never see me dancing in public, blasting music and littering \n\nI actually spend my sundays cleaning plastic from trails \n\n2) i am a full time student for 4 years funding over 90 grand for a bachelor on top of that paying my taxes and paying 1100$ a month for rent being limited to 24 hours a week I do not work outside campus I work the job the college provided to me \n\nThe problem comes up when people use the 1 year and 6 month diploma program to enter the country and work here full time \n\nThey associate themselves only with indians mainly because they cant speak the English language fluently \nTherefore they associate with the exact people they associated with back home \n\nHow will they adapt to a new country if they hang out with the same people \n\n\nI came to canada with a goal \n\nTo make Canadian friends \nLearn about Canadian culture \nStart a new life \nAnd work my ass off to get my degree \n\n\nMost people move here to make more money \n\nThey sell their land and do so \n\nPlease do not associate hard working indians who adapt and leave their past behind with these people who have come here purely to exploit the system\n\n\nTrust me I know it's hard to hear this but good Indians do exist.
