I will say I have been lucky in Calgary (moved to Alberta in 2011; became perm res in 2018) with my healthcare. I have a great liver specialist and family doctor as well as a backup. I just fell and cut the back of my head Monday (2 staples but nicely done; I do not feel any pain). I know that is not common for people. I think some of it is timing based on the comments. It will only get better if we quit USing it (i.e. politicizing it). As an ex-pat watching that dumpster fire, moving to Canada in 2010 (first year in YVR) was the right step for me (however, that said, being that I am plain white looking male, I know that made it so easy at least until I applied for Perm Res. Then, being a white american worked against me). Luckily, I had been involved with a Canadian citizen several years whom sponsored me for Perm Res. I really enjoy seeing your POV in your videos. Thanks for posting them.

We-Americans CANNOT even afford to do anything with our Homeless Vets, Nor Our Forever Growing Homeless Population to begin with! .. Thus How can we afford Bombers full of unchecked Immigrants & Open Borders?? This is insanity !! .. z Priority must be to House our Vets 1st, clean up our Homeless tent camps, then think about others !! This is counter intuitive ! This makes me mad because other than the true American Indians we are all immigrants from generations back. Can we afford everyone no but do we or have we a right to do this no. I don't have the answers for how to help them but I don't think this is the best way. Have them line up in several lines and if they are not criminals from there home then we should tell them that we have no work or much food and they will be what we call homeless but let's not forget that we haven't always lived in houses with running water and electricity and cooked outside. My grandmother and my dad and mom all went through the great depression my dad and mom were children and all they had to eat was lard sandwiches. Because they know even if they cross illegally they will find jobs in the construction industry.. the companies of America hire them and then pay them low wages which works out for the companies because paying with cash or 1099 tax form they are not obligated to taxes, retirements, 401k, no insurance. A few years back a company was hired to remove tree limbs from power lines so they went to central America and brought back workers for the labor. It went live on the news and was asked why wasn't Americans offered the opportunity to get a job doing the work.. as soon as the news report came out it was just as quickly removed from the airways. Yes and if these people truly believed in God and Jesus they wouldn't run from their countries but actually stay on the ground and stand strong in their faith that God and Jesus are going to help them persevere through all this. As a fully disabled American citizen with a child that doesn't even get $1,000 a month and there's no available housing at all where I live no waiting list to go on people on SSI disability don't get any extra housing help we're not offered separate housing are put on separate lists and low-income Able Body people or the migrants jumping the Border but I was born and raised here paid taxes and worked until my body literally couldn't anymore but I don't hear anybody bitching and screaming and crying about the fact that my son and I would be on the streets if it hadn't been for one of my family members stepping up and giving his housing after a lifetime restraining order issued during my pregnancy on my son's biological do do with domestic abuse situation. I'm also US citizen that spent time in the Wards in Houston and projects and other cities and if you don't think that we don't have the same gun violence drug trafficking human trafficking gangs take it over cartels taking over neighborhoods and communities than you're freaking lying to yourself and everybody else. People need to remember that part of being a fair and loving. Is also teaching and discipline and these children following rules. I don't believe hearing God and Jesus telling all these people run from your countries and not have faith that I'm actually going to fix things for you and go run to somebody else actually go run to the United States where all those stuff is traveling through. Don't you get it the politicians don't want people knowing that a lot of the people that are homeless on the street are people that are disabled and aren't disabled because they have mental health problems I know that's the narrative they've been trying to stuff down people's throats.

This is BS ! I have NEVER EVER had to wait a full YEAR to see a doctor. Period . I live in Toronto. I write this in late March 2023. In the USA....you are on YOUR OWN when it comes to things like social issues and healthcare. Your so-called private insurance plans do not ALWAYS cover what YOU THINK they cover regarding healthcare. You could not pay me enough to ever move to the US from Toronto. My parents had MULTIPLE heart-related medical procedures in Ottawa that would have BANKRUPTED them if they were Americans. You are taken care of IMMEDIATELY if your life is in danger when it comes to healthcare. Americans never mention this. This actually happened to my 41-year old daughter. CBC makes it out as if these people were fleeing Auschwitz at the American Border—perhaps if they were still across the Atlantic or the Pacific but no they were in North America. I don't think they're fleeing extermination at that point. With the exception of few places in Latin America, the Americas are the safest continents on this planet.

We need unlimited cheap labor for business. American workers are so lazy and selfish that they think they are worth more than third world labor. Why should rich people be extorted on the cost of labor when a child in India for example works for 10 cents an hour. Open the boards 100 percent. Canada's healthcare is not all that. Atleast in Ontario. There is no dental coverage, no eye coverage. But its good for people who old or have critical illnesses since its all covered. \nCanada also has a very weak job market than the U.S. There is almost no opportunity for highly skilled labor. The U.S is a world leader in technology and industry and has more rewarding opportunities for talented people. As a Canadian who has lived in the U.S. I must agree Americans are more willing to be friends with strangers. I also think the U.S is far more culturally diverse but better assimilated. The U.S is a better place if you are talented and hardworking. Canada is a better place if you are a min wager.

Right now at the moment their is being massive layoffs around the U.S., banks collapsing and these people think they will come and get their dream jobs and reach the American dream ?.

I am Mexican and grew up in America but learned from my dad that said these people ruin traveling as a Mexican for every law abiding citizen because it makes people think he's illegal. he even got arrested by border patrol because someone called saying he was illegal but he was actually an American citizen who did everything the legal way.
