I was not interested in Germany before the video because I don't think or get the vibe Germany is welcoming or at the very least, their sense of humour is too different for me to cope with but after watching the video, the answer is the same, not interested. Because it seems like high command in the german language from the get go is expected and tax is high and rent is unaffordable.

They are escaping their Muslim law in their country....NOW they want to apply their same law in a Christian countries.???.... This will end up in a civil war.,.. They should go home....before it happen...think about their children life will be destroy...

More skilled labors will be leaving Germany. My brother a senior softwares engineer already decided to leave Germany due to unbearable high cost for living and unable to afford a house for his wife and two daughters working overtime. IT companies in Germany do NOT pay US IT salary jobs. Me and my wife also decided for the sake of our daughters future to leave Germany for Poland in the next years. Poland has a bright future ahead and has become a central IT hub for US and Europe. Germany has nothing left to offer but high taxes, high cost of living, a bad and outdated retirement system, analog burocracy, no digital progress. I could go on and on. If you think to come to Germany as a skilled worked, DON'T, there are better alternative countries to choose from!

This is why landlords are lot renting anymore. Government thinks this is the way to help housing crisis by letting scums live free. Well they are teaching landlords not to rent. We have houses we don’t rent anymore because we ourself experienced a tenant who lived and abused the property free for a year easy. LTB was all tenants pro. Tenants were driving new cars every six months while we were going bankrupt.

What's interesting: I am a German thinking about moving to Canada, because I believe Germany is a mess. We gave home to more than 1,000,000 refugees since 2015 and still more to come. I am kind of distracted of this video and all the comments. Where would a Canadian go, if he or she wants to leave? Switzerland? Australia? NZ?

The real issue is Canada is letting in the trash other nations that they no longer want. The people coming into Canada are the people who cant make it in their own countries. We need to let in skilled workers in industries that have demand instead of letting random non working people looking for hand outs because hey cannot make it in their country. The when they do come here, they cannot come to Toronto or Vancouver because they simply cannot afford it. Go where you are needed and stand a chance, the country is vast and in need of people outside of the metros

To answer the question with another question, why do you think that adding 10 million immigrants to a country with a relatively small population in just 11 years was going to turn out well? \n\n10 million is roughly one-third of what Canada's population was 11 years ago. It is one-quarter of today's population. How was this not going to cause housing shortages and stress the social/health and education systems, overcrowd schools, and clog roads and public transport? If Canadians are unhappy about immigration, that literally means it’s an indisputable scientific fact that there are immense issues with our system. The dark and disgusting side of this that doesn’t get talked about is how many newcomers leave shortly after spending everything they have to boost our GDP before they realize they’ll never get the opportunity or life they were promised here. It's because everywhere in Canada is turning into India. Our ways are being bulldozed out of existence by their ways. It's not all bad. Well my house to taken over by convicts and out of compassion me and my wife gave them our house, as we didn’t know how absurd the laws are to evict a bad tenant.\n\nI being helpless called police and email PM helpline , housing minister, but nothing happened till 4 months, they destroyed my property, and still owe me 14k rent plus utilities, excluding the damages and property mess they created. \n\nWe were terrified , they had two big rescues dogs and would threat us if we come to ask for house check or rent , they would release the dogs on us. \n\nI still have tenant body order for money claim, but my family suggested to leave and move on . We need services, housing, infrastructure. All this privatization and neoliberal (not the same as liberal) approaches which remove the system social safety net this is the outcome. Hating on immigrants is not where our minds need to go, looking at many of the issues outlined in this video is an important perspective to consider. It is policy that needs rethinking. And if you think Pierre or the Conservatives have the answers, unfortunately they do not, Pierre jusr jumps on the populist far right bandwagon, without talking frankly about some of the issues outlined in the video or in my commentary. We need new bold solutions. Im a teenager living in Toronto and its hard seeing rent for my cramped apartment go up when its already hard for family to pay. The only way I think I can be happy is to move away as so many people come in to the country I hold dear.

I don't think Russia is actively weaponizing migration against Europe. If you're doing okay ( not even good but average) in India, think many times before going to Canada. It'll take a lot of time to get a good life in Canada owing to the situation there right now. Though situation was much better a few years back. Not now. If you're hell bent to go, you can but keep in mind there's a hefty price to pay

I go to a big college here in Toronto not naming names but almost all the students are international students and when we have special events at school no food is left for others due to the number of students that their is. I think schools make a big profit of international students along with the government so they live 10 in a house.

As an Indian immigrant myself, I have tremendous sympathy for Canadians. \n\nThe so called diploma mills were always a danger but online classes during covid meant they could quadruple their attendance (and thus, their bottom line). The degrees offered by these colleges are worthless and that's why anyone who's moved to Canada in the last 4-5 years is finding it difficult to get meaningful employment.\n\nOn the other side, the Canadian dream really is sold as a cheaper and safer alternative to the American Dream. This is especially rampant in the state of Punjab where people from villages sell their ancestral property to move to Canada as students only to find the stalemate that is the job sector.\n\nThis in turn puts pressure on the economy, the housing market, and the welfare programmes. I think the immigration needs to halt for a while. A LOT of students are lacking in technical and linguistic skills to propel the Canadian economy and society forward and they'll need to not be given Permanent Residencies. PR should go to highly skilled immigrants who are integrating into the Canadian society instead of turning Brampton into mini India.

Wow never know about this. Absolutely crazy this is allowed to go on. So many of us including me are living on the edge barely scraping by, and now we’re being flooded by new people who will take all the cheaper housing. Not there is any cheap housing. And sleeping in your vehicle is now being banned all over because of all the unhoused, which really puts a damper on traveling in an RV or van. My friends think this was all a grand scheme, and I’m not sure that they are wrong.

I think the real reason are:\n\n1. Refugees from Ukraine, Afghanistan, Syria and Asylum seekers from Africa.\n2. Foreign investment in housing was allowed until 2022 which played a major part in prices going up.\n3. 1+ Million International students allowed in 3 years.\n4. Average Canadian doesn't want to work a minimum wage job, especially now working with foreign people.\n\nBlaming one government, country or race wont help. That is just jealousy towards most common looking immigrant, which are South Asians.
