I’m in the U.S. and considering moving to Canada but would like to know more about the general workplace work/life balance and if people work remote or are always in the office, etc. thanks!

Sorry, I still love Canada, look at what is going on around the world, and quite fine to be here, Most industrialized countries are expensive to live in, no matter where you’re at today, inflation, high accommodation rates, and food increases, are everywhere. Maybe we’re just lucky, but our healthcare around us is quite good, and when I compare to what people pay in the United States for healthcare premiums for average to decent healthcare. It’s a bargain. Never understand people crying about the weather who immigrate here, for Gosh sakes, you moved to a northern climate. What do you expect? Do you really expect the world climate to change for you and to be more like the southern hemisphere country you came from? Weather doesn’t work that way. Why did people leave their original country if they were just so wonderful in the first place? A ton of political instability where they came from and few jobs.

People in this whole world are dirty and love life because they think they will live forever and forget death and hell.

I'm a 70-year-old Canadian man, Born and raised in Vancouver BC and back living here now...I'm happy being a Canadian and Just wondering why all these snivelling, complaining people who hate my country don't just pack up and go live in another country..The population of Greater Vancouver has probably increased by 500% in the last 30 years even though it's one of the most expensive cities in Canada. I don't understand why strict islam believers choose non islamic countries to settle in. There are so many countries in middle east, feels like half the countries have a muslim majority. Why not be comfortable living there. At the end of the day it is important to feel safe and also have a sense of belonging to where u settle down. How can a muslim ever feel that when prayers over loudspeakers are also banned. I feel like many muslims dont value their religion enough to settle in a muslim country and then when they face backlash in non-muslim country they start behaving like a victim. One cannot expect to be in an entirely different cultural environment and still force a different culture to their children. It restricts the children from integrating well in the country. When a parent from a different culture decides to raise children in a country which have a different culture, it is obvious that children will be exposed to this other culture. If that is not okay to parents, then they should not do children in a different country but rather in a country where they are blessed with their own culture. There is a choice for most people, and I am glad that you all chose it. Its beautiful to see people living in peace and in harmony with their religion. I love watching you all and hopefully you are able to encourage more muslims to choose an Islamic country to settle in, rather than being victims or having to fight in Non- Islamic countries due to western influence. Dubai or Turkey i think the best. Im from Malaysia so i kinda bias in the sense that i always see something to complain about my own country..? i love Malaysia..im not moving anywhere but these 2 countries i will choose if i want to move..another one would be Brunei..cause it’s very peaceful, people are nice, culturally so close to Malaysia and their currency is higher than Malaysia. And if it’s non Muslim countries it will be Australia or New Zealand - still very near to Malaysia easier for me to come back??

I am here 10 years. One thing that was really shocking to me was how many people were sheeple right when the pandemic happened. LOVE to listen to what they are told to do! People refused to socialize and try to reach out. Young people. Well guess what? That was the beginning of bad news. I also have been surprised at the amount of people who assume all Americans are like Trump and have messed up attitudes towards Americans. I am looking forward to a better Canada. A place where maybe people can start coming up with friendlier ways of living life.

I love Canada , sorry to bust your bubble, but life isn’t golden everywhere you go, people come here, generally, because they couldn’t stand where they were living, and were unhappy, and for some reason expected us to be heaven. The world is difficult everywhere today, if you think Canada is the only expensive country in the world you’re fooling yourself. Go live in some country with a far less appealing, political climate, or no natural resources and dictatorship governments if it’s cheap. Have fun.

i have never been to Canada but i do have plenty of friends who are tried of living in Canada. I live in Malaysia and I do love in here and things are very easy going. The best part is the accessibility to halal food everywhere you go you can easily find Halal food and people in general are very friendly and also helpful too. I have been living in Malaysia for the past 20yrs and I enjoy in here. I was born and brought up in the UAE but I love Malaysia as my home. The cost of living in here is on the raise but it is not so bad as in many other countries so far. The Malaysian government is doing the best possible to keep a control of the inflation. We hope and pray to see 2024 as a better year to come

Alot of people talking about moving, I too would love to move as Canada is nothing like the Canada i grew up in during the 90’s-2000’s.. but where would you go? The majority of Europe and the US is no different, i feel like you would be leaving one bad place for another.

I would love to visit Oman and have heard great things in terms of quality of life (Muslim, low crime rate, beautiful nature and people) there if you want to check it out!

As a native Canadian I totally understand your stand on winter and inflation. As a native Canadian I think we don't inform immigrants and outsiders that winter climate does to alot of people. There is a seasonal affective disorder (very prevelent) in my father's family and even my mother unfailing optimism get's like you fatigue at the very least. Kids love winter but yes as a adult or even a teen many people retreat and feel isolated. As for inflation, I do hope you find a country where the gouvernement(s) aren't denying the insanity that is going on. To be honest, after centuries of being a Quebec native, I have fantasized very heavily about moving myself because even with a good salary things each year since Covid-19 have become just terribly expensive and it affect primarily basic shelter and food needs. It's absurd! Good luck on your way settling where ever you will!

I think we all know Israel ?? does not want to live there land too. So it is best to promote peace and not pick sides. The Lord Jesus Christ said love your neighbours and who are our neighbours the people who are of different faith from us and neighbours are also our enemies. So we can't false Israel ?? and Palestine to leave there land but let's pray for them to live in harmony.

I move from one country to another every five years because of the nature of my job. As a practising Muslim with children here are some of the countries I’ve lived in which you guys should consider :\n- Turkey is very developed and your family will have to make less adjustments in terms of quality of life. If you can speak Turkish then you are good to go.\n-Morocco has a very rich culture and the economy is relatively stable.\n- Malaysia is beautiful and has great community sense. Very helpful people. The main adjustment will be with the eastern culture which is very conservative. The cuisine is also very unique.\n- Qatar and UAE are both similar in the sense that finding jobs won’t be a problem and lots of people understand and speak english. Also these two countries are developed and the \n education standards are the highest I have seen in countries following sharia. Also these countries are less strict than Saudi Arabia which is my native country. I really hope you two \n aren’t considering it. Your girls will not grow up happy in Saudi. Trust a women who has done it. I love my religion but inshallah no child should go through that environment because her \n parents were attracted to the holy land.\n-Lastly this is a rather outlier in this list but you should consider India. There are mosques everywhere in almost every city and even the Hindus fondly wake up to the azaan. Most \ninclusive non-Muslim country I have lived in. My children loved it. We lived in one of the many Muslim communities near a mosque in a city called Hyderabad which was ruled by a Muslims for hundreds of years. Even though they have their own languages nearly everyone speaks english. The schools are great. The police create spaces for Muslims to worship on the roads so that traffic doesn’t disturb them. Very inclusive and the city itself is beautifully developed. The job market is great and it is a very affordable place to raise a family.\n\nI hope you guys check these places out. I’ve only listed the countries which I felt were the best options but I’ve lived in almost all the countries with a sizeable Muslim population. Best wishes to you folks from the Sayyid family. i started to practice islam in 2009 while living in spain. and left it in 2010 and relocated to turkey. would never go back. love spain and keep my best memories of living there. but now i have three kids and need to think about them first. and i think that a muslim should live in a muslim environment. istanbul is like a european city but with adhan and people who wont harass you for your religion.

South Africa . Diversity with lots of tolerance. Lovely people. . Nice weather. Great outdoor life. Muslim communities and mosques and madressas.

Non Muslim here but I would love to live in Turkey. I could do it for a year but can’t really imagine leaving Australia for good .. the Turkish people are so friendly and helpful .

As a Turkish I would say don’t choose Turkiye!! My country system is secular education system so worse…I lived USA but I grew up in Turkiye I know the schools!!Yes it’s safe no school shootings like USA but the education is not good a especially for religious people I’m religious and long time ago before the Erdogan never allowed to hijab in schools now Erdogan changed but if the other secular politicians win everything changes very quickly I know it !!!Right now economy is going very bad in Turkiye and everything is so high prices !!!I love my country!!But I can tell the truth

you should try Sri Lanka... its a multi cultural country. And the people around are very kind and its easy to blend in cuz there's no discrimination at all! most foods are halal also cuz the muslim population is big, many restaurants are run by muslims and there are many girls schools for muslims including religious studies... u cn find musjids in every city/town... and again, the people are so flexible. as a muslim in sri lanka, im so glad im sri lankan cuz i love the people in this country, cuz no matter what, all of us have each other's backs.. <3

MashaAllah, u guys r such an amazing couples and parents. I know this is not an easy decision, but Allah is with u and I really stand and look up to u. Every parent knows what is best for their children and families. I live in Pakistan 2. Me and my brother were born in US to Pakistani parents. My mom didn't want to leave US but my dad said there is no religious environment there plus our whole family lives in Pakistan and didn't want us to grow there. Our apartment owner who was Christian was not letting us go. He said that u guys r such an amazing people, good Muslims, nice to everyone and take Care for everyone. It was really hard for both of my parents but Allah made it easy for us. My mom passed away when I was 18 and my brother 15 and I really miss her. My option is u can guys move to Pakistan. U can get Islamic education + Islamic environment. No matter how bad our politics, government doesn't care about Its own country and no cleanliness but I still love Pakistan. I really respect you guys for making such a hardest decision with strength. I really support you guys with this decision. Just don't mind I was just giving an advice that Pakistan is way better but it is totally up to u guys which country u like to make your better life. But where ever u guys go, u are all always in my prayers even our brothers and sisters in Gaza. @SalehFamily i can no longer follow your channel, there is nothing wrong with drag queens reading to kids, there's zero statistical evidence that the LGBTQIA+ Community has been blamed of hurting children. The ones you both have to worry about hurting children are: policemen, priests, youth pastors, politicians, your unassuming creep neighbor, principal, people of authority who are supposed to be trusted to keep children safe from harm are the ones who have hurt children. Just recently, numerous youth pastors, cops, church leaders have been arrested on charges of CP, CHSA, Molestation, most of which have received sentences between 2-40 years in prison. And love is love no matter who you are or what sexuality preference you are.

I cant blame you for the cold. I dont love the winter either. I moved back to the cold winter from the coast and boy do you get spoiled on either coast of canada for weather! I just dont like to be cold. If I could move to the USA, preferably texas. I would go. In terms of living costs, its sad how many canadians dont understand that places like BC and ON have been pricey for a long time. Its new in other provinces to be this expensive and AB, SK, MB, QC. While some of those provinces are more expensive than others, they're new to the super high prices and many refuse to recognize how ON and BC have been paying these prices far longer then inflation right now, which isn't new either. While I'm not muslim, I am LDS and we are not a favourite religion in society either. We get chastised all the time and nobody bats an eye. I've been insulted by employers, our church buildings have been set on fire. I still have to explain why my faith doesn't believe in working on sundays (as employers want that these days). I think some religions or non religious dont want to recognize what we get put through too. Even though we can relate to muslims in our own way. My faith enjoys serving communities with the muslims, I have worked with muslims and many are just the kindest people! The first president of our church got murdered and our people got chased within the USA and americans seem to believe that this doesn't happen in their own country but the same hate has and continues to happen in my faith. So I can understand, we face a lot of rejection when we speak about our faith. I can understand in my own way how you feel.

A rich country is where everything is affordable, houses, food, healthcare, schools, less taxes, less stress and family oriented community. No matter if their currency is lower than 1st world countries. I love living in my 3rd world country, such a paradise on earth.... where people stay in tents in the weekends in the mountains or beaches for chilling out.

Canada has a massive hypocrisy that counters their 'inclusive' image. They are in fact more exclusive than most places, and extremely elitist, and discriminatory. Their immigration does not help matters by having a system that is SO insanely classist, that really only rich people can enter, and even then, it may not be enough. I read about a millionaire that was rejected entry, because they had a deaf child! Can you imagine?? So they are also extremely ableist as well, and lacking logic, as a millionaire can obviously afford their own child's medical care, and what does it matter anyway when Canada is supposed to have national health coverage?? So nuts. Yeah, they don't want to own that. They just love to call out the USA, whose immigration rules are FAR more lax than Canada's, or really most countries for that matter. Most people are totally ignorant about how the USA system actually works. Anyone can move to the USA. We let TOO MANY people in. Canada only wants young, rich, successful people to enter their country. Everyone else can just drop dead for all they care, and hey, with the laws about 'voluntary life ending', and how they are grossly encouraging that now for anyone who may be old, depressed, or otherwise 'expendable', what do we expect?
