In India there have been many cases where a sikh man involved in a normal argument had pulled out his so called religious symbol (knife) and fatally injured the other person, so much for a religious symbol. The problem with sikh man carrying a knife in the name of religion is same as an american carrying a gun in the name of constitutional right. I have worked for almost five years in a reputed lab in Panjab, India. Trust me; no one brought any weapons to the lab in the name of religion. When we live in an organization, we need to follow their rule, even in India.

Well it's not a crime to carry kripan at least a place where guns are more common....but when you are in other country their jurisdiction applies not your ethnicity ..race or religion . We applied for PR. Got invitation for my family within 10 months. Landed in GTA in 2016. Stayed there for a one month vacation became PRs. Observed many things and spoken to many of my friends while I was there. Situation was pathetic in a nutshell. Went back to continue my job in Middle East. \nFor 3 4 years I thought about what should we do. Should we move or not. \nUltimately decided to let go the PR status & not Waste my savings on this PONZY scheme. \nStill working in Middle East and in Europe, family shifted back to India purchased a premium apartment a nice car. With our foreign savings I can easily retire in India - I'm still 39!\n\nBest decision ever!!!

Sad part is Govt does nothing. One Indian rented a room and left country after one year. He was PR and using that rented address for credit frauds. Person went to India and it looks to some other country. He got COVID relief money though he does not live here. Govt does nothing and credit card company does not ask Indian Embassy where he is. It is win win of millions of dollars for that Indian.

One more thing Canada is more welcoming and safer. Love from India to both. ?

Sir, it is easy to get reference letter from current employer in India. What to do with past employer's work experiences, or it is OK to present One year /or more experience form present employer only ?

Hello . i have one question , there are lot of immigration company working in india. I have applied through one of those company . They have taken my LMIA interview and report get positive . Now the issue is they said the 85% they have Sponsees and 15% i have to pay for foreign consultancy and lawyer charges . Is that a valid case ?

True .. I am from India and I too felt very lonely there in Canada almost went into depression .. left and came back on a very long vacation to India to stay with my family ..\n\nIt is necessary to have true friends .. you can find random friends but the ones who would take out the time for you from their busy schedule are very rare .. And if you have a circle of few good friends I think we can form a small community and life a balanced life .. but it is easier said than done in practical life ..

I am from India ...my two uncles have been in UK from around 1967 ...in all these years they only have immigrant India friends only and they admit that though they hv earned a lot and lead a good life yet they are second grade citizens\n\nmy brother is in Canada ...for more than 20 yrs ...he has a couple of frnds and they live lonely amongst themselves\n\nstrangely none of them speak abt neighbours etc\n\nbut ...then again ...these are beautiful countries with sensible social discipline and security ...ppl hv equality safety earnings etc ...one cannot just ignore the good life factors with one loneliness issue

It provides physical and material comforts but not emotional or social sustenance, which has to come from those other types of associations. And I sense this is not just a Western world phenomenon. I think it’s happening everywhere and simply a fact of life wherever the vast majority of people living in any space have no family ties with one another. In a village or neighborhood setting in a place like India or Africa, you’ll have such liveliness on the streets and among neighbors because a lot of the people there are simply relatives of each other.

This is very true. I am from India and lived in the US for a while, but it is really lonely and life really sucks there. \nThis was the first thing I missed when I was there. This also confused me as to whether you can walk on the road or not, since you saw no one walking.\n I would have been bored to death if I had continued living there. I also thought this is probably a key factor for the rise in drug usage. I pity the people in the west !!

I've been to many cities across indias length and breadth for job and education. Every place I went, first thing I did was to befriend the neighbourhood tea stall/tobacconist (used to smoke back then) there's one at every corner. You visit that place regularly you share a laugh and a nod with other regulars. To the point they ask abt u if they don't see u for a couple of days. Then u add them on Facebook and see th living their lives for the rest of the life. \n\nWe talk to random people everywhere and in India atleast, a stranger is truly a friend you're yet to know. And that is what I love the most abt my country. And can't imagine living anywhere else.

Surely no one wants to live in densely populated country like india with comolete nuisance all around. Peaceful countries

We get the wrong immigrants, we theoretically would like to have highly advanced societies like northern europeans, instead, we get the rich of the middle east, India China and other non-white races, with almost zero english or french communications for that matter, Canada becomes a magnet for immigrants, just the wrong ones.
