My family came from Canada from India over 100 years ago we came over here legally we tried to assimilate I think what really bothers me now is that these new international students are giving all of us a bad name most of them cheat on their English exams back in India, and this is a known fact most of them can’t speak English and hence why they fail the colleges here expecting to be passed automatically. they work over 40 hours a week illegally and lie about it The government is subsidizing international students but they are taking jobs away from our students. We paid taxes my entire life and my son applied for over 100 jobs and got nothing because every single job is taken over by international students they are they are abrasive. They are entitled, they cannot seem to understand how assimilation works. They are so entitled and they feel they can protest out in the streets when they dont get PR. They came on a student visa and were expected to go home. They are now complaining and protesting at this point they all need to be sent home because this is ridiculous, PR should be handed out as needed not automatically and right now there are so many Canadians without jobs so we don’t need more workers. I also work in healthcare most of the students or their families come in don’t have appropriate healthcare and we end up paying millions of dollars in healthcare bills because of them, we have had families come visit their international students with no healthcare having strokes costing us healthcare workers and the government over $1 million. We don’t have the infrastructure for these students to stop. The government needs to stop subsidizing. The government needs to stop handing out PR like they’re handing out candyscamin India and here charged enough is enough. I will def be writing to my politician

In the Ontario town I grew up in back in the 60's, most families had at least four children, most dads had factory jobs and most moms were stay at home moms. Most families owned modest three bedroom homes, kids played sports, had bicycles, food on the table and never felt poor. If you are under 30 today, the Canada you are in absolutely SUCKS by comparison. When I graduated high school in the mid 70's I could have got a factory job that paid 10k a year and bought a modest home for 20k. Now, in the same town, a person earning 100k needs about 800k to buy that same house. So, people under 30 are giving up on getting married, having children and buying homes. Canada, thanks to Justin Trudeau, is on its way to becoming a third world country, but without cheap food.

Because most of them come with money they borrow knowing well they are not in for studies but for residences. But the government didnt know that and now they flooded the place and the students are now demanding for job and room to stay. Exactly, how can ppl come in for education and bring their entire family on board. It was all a red flag. And now they are getting big credit cards and when they leave, who will pay? Citizens. And still ppl are coming, why have they not closed the entering given 70 000 is to be deported. Why get more ppl in the country that is already choked?

This is what happens when you dont have variety of foreign workers and you dont consider the culture. If you bring a million from one rural part of a specific country, they will gang up and make demands and the Punjab are famous for this even in India. This will happen again, Canada is a big, empty country with a small economy and low birth rate ( mostly due to cost of living and family law being unfair to men and alot of them are avoiding women unlike other places I have been to, too much headache not much reward)

So these institutions never consider their own communities, never mind the families of these students who are giving away their entire life's savings to make them get into these institutions. What a rotten system.

I find it hilarious they try to use native affairs from the past as a standing point but have never experienced it or was raised in it or had family members who were part of it in Canadian history. Something they are being taught in school that people of a certain demographic are all responsible for doing. \n\n Personally never seen eastern indians at any kind of Native function or area.

I am a Jamaican Canadian 42 year resident of Canada. I agree with your perspective 99.9%. Keep up the good work. Social integration requires fast track educational courses that stresses the importance of savvy customer relation procedures, gestures and practices. They must see it as not imposing but the norm in accommodating diversity in a multicultural city. Once they perceive the integrality and its inextricable component in smoothly assimilating, they will see the inevitable need to compartmentalize as this helps them to fit into their new welcoming family. Be reminded, in Canada, out of many, one family.

Our immigration laws are weak. Each and every immigrant must be vetted and must have something to offer in Canada. No more free rides for so called refugees. Wishful ? Ng - came across a Pakistani family with 6K per month govt payout because they got approval for asylum. Another young man is getting 2K every month though he says he has no issue in his home country and now trying to get rest of family here too from Pakistan so that they all can apply for asylum. Canada is getting cash workers for low wages jobs - Uber drivers, servers , grocery store cashiers. for life long just like Europe has been for so many years.

The politicians from Canada and India don't care if everyone lives in poverty. And getting Canadian citizenship will not solve all your families' problems. Once Canada goes broke there will be no welfare, EI, pensions, free housing, or healthcare so you're better off staying in India where at least you know the language, laws, religion and culture. This is appalling. This is not the international studentship I know. When I was in university at York, interns students were very wealthy and from rich families and could easily afford tuition.\nThe Indians going and lying to their people and recruiting them in mass to come to Canada should face justice.\nCanada doesn’t need Indians from Indian villages flooding the streets to make money.

The Fifth Estate had a great piece on what is actually going on in India and how this people are being scammed. They think that they're talking to a recruiter for a college, when in reality, it's a travel agency. It's sick how Canadian colleges have exploited the weaknesses in the system, and the government has allowed this to happen for so long. And now, after 9 years of Trudeau, the Liberals and the NDPs are back peddling trying to repair the bridges that the helped build and break. They gave the impression that I or any other who had a concern with immigration might be possibly racist or xenophobic. Our government weaponized words to shut our voices down. Honestly the truth, am from the UK, and I am an Asian British citizen, been few times in Toronto Canada for a family visit. Hi guys..i want to explain 99% of people those are protesting belongs to indian province of Punjab. Most of them belongs to fudel families in Punjab and these people has become more problem making not only in canada but india also. In punjab these people block high way every second day to dictate their demands to goverment. Rest in peace all those who fought in ww1-ww2 and indo Pak war a terrible time for both sides I recently asked my father about our grandparents history he said that they were originally based in and around “Srinagar” in India and he told me that when the partition happened my great great grandfather along with 1 one spiritual imam and exactly 99 others including my grandfather a total of 100 people made migration to “Mirpur Azad Kashmir” the village name is “Chitterpari” as soon as you enter into Mirpur from Jhelum / Dina side it is located there, here my father told me that our ancestors with the imam and other 98 people were the first to settle in Chitterpari of course it was not Chitterpari at that time it was the old city of Mirpur but when the water came and washed everything away they moved abit away from the rising water. I’m sure we all have family in those parts of pakistan who are now residing in England ????‍??

Every good for nothing Tom, Dick and Harry goes to Canada and Australia. Their extended family in Punjab, Hyderabad and Gujarat think that they are very smart. They were good for nothing in India and will be good for nothing in such countries too. It's so easy to get PR. Canada and Australia gives PR like distributing peanuts. USA has chain migration and allows substandard people through Canada on some easy visa. Anyone's kid who us born in the US becomes a citizen. Undocumented/ 3rd world Asylees gets free money from hard working tax payers. Everywhere politicians are just creating mess to get votes.

I was born in ?? and at your age Alina I left Vancouver and moved to Europe. I too saw no future and no way of having quality of life there. In the past 20 years I have watched ?? just fall apart and get worse and worse and it breaks my ❤️. One has to choose where life will be best for you and then give it your all. For me, by far, it was the best choice I ever made because the life I have now would never have been achievable, especially in Vancouver. People will tell you and you can tell yourself that you can just move back and visit all the time but in reality, that does not happen and you need to accept all the loss that leaving will bring. You will loose friend family and opportunity, people will pass friends will forget you and you them and Canada will become a memory in time. I hope for you that your move is worth it and you too find a better quality of life. Finally your video has helped reaffirmed choices that I made so long ago and I am great full for that. Deportation is a traumatic experience for anyone, imagine u left Ur home country, sold every assets. You settle in a new country learning the culture & laws. Getting acquainted with the climate. Taking into consideration that over time while abroad (be it Canada) things may have changed from the way u left in your home country. Imagine staying in Canada legally n some times immigration process could take a long time, say u stay for abt 4 or 5 years waiting. And boom ? u get news u have to go back. Maybe u started a family. My family immigrated to this country 2 decades ago, the decline of the quality of education, healthcare and other social aspects have been tremendously impacting everyone. This have had happen within the last few years and it is sickening.

There is a simple solution - stay in india with your families!

We are caring and understand all human rights, but when people start taking advantage justin Trudeau should stand and dont give fuck about all rules, we should think, do we actually care about human rights? For example one needs only a visitor visa to get citizenship Just need to say im gay/lesbo family friends behind him/her to kill. Person will get free hotel until you won't find home. Then person will be paid per month to take care yourself. If you need to study? Of course you will get all free education. Thats why government running out of money for those who are retired, worked hard for years and earn those retirement cheques.Human rights and other rules are good on papers but in reality, people always find out loop holes to take advantage of rules. Selling LMIA owners of subway, gas stations, circle k, convince stores owners made millions till today. No wonder why asian have more homes than actual locals? Still, the roots are being deafness by the government as big pie cut was serving under table by thos sitty colleges. Everyone is responsible, but right now, everyone pretending they know the issue now and stopping this and that. That's the biggest joke i have ever seen. I can talk and write hours and hours about this issue, but actual citizens still sleeping.

For me foremost the reason is the people. Ive lost all respect for indian nationals in this country. They are rude, do not care about others and act like they are entitiled to everything when they are just guests.\nMy family and i used to visit a nearby lake on hot summer days. \nIts been a tradition for soo many years. This year we pulled up to the beach and it was over crowded. I have never see that many indian nationals in on space in canada.\nWe left and decided to come back a couple days later. My god. The garbage! They didnt even have the decency to clean up after themselves! Fire pits full of partly burned garbage all over the place.\n\nIF YOU CANNOT RESPECT OUR COUNTRY, GO HOME! imagine how the indian authorities would act if it was canadian students protesting on their soil.
