Hamas murdered Israelis. This cannot be condoned. Retaliation by Israel to quash Hamas is justified but to what degree. Israel wants to wipe out Hamas but in doing so are harming innocent Palestinian civilians. Almost a no win situation. Why did Hamas attack Israel? I doubt this will ever be resolved.

Sad to say but Canada will be a very tough place to not only live but to thrive in, at least for the next decade. Not worth it, maybe come back 2 years after the Conservatives win and have started fixing some things in 2027. The current Liberals have made all the bad decisions that could have been made, every step of the way.

Years ago I had a guy that I worked with that was Palestinian. He said he loved his home and missed it and his friends but he knows he is safer and better off here. He felt is was a fight his people cannot win. He also felt the other Arab countries were not helping them.

I would hope you could find happiness in Canada. One of my concerns about living in a theocratic country would always be, is this choice really your own? Can you ever be certain, if faced with violations of your rights, that the choice is really yours? And, if not, can you consider yourselves as choosing Islam, rather than being forced into it, even if in absence of theocratic rule, you would have chosen it anyways? Maybe I’m overthinking it. I have the tendency to do that. I think if I were Muslim, I might choose Tunisia. I’ve known people from Tunisia and it sounds like they’re pretty open-minded, but still obviously predominantly Muslim. I’ve been to Dubai, and while I see many people recommending it, I honestly thought it was the worst combination of East and West. All the commercialization of the West, but none of the democracy. Plus, if you are not native Emiratis, you will always be second class. I’m from the US in what I think is the mini-Canada (ok, the Twin Cities) and we have a big Muslim community, but I’m very concerned Trump will win again in 2024, and I don’t know what will come of it. My daughter is part Afghani, but raised Catholic because her father’s side is irreligious. But I still worry for her, looking like she does and carrying that last name. People are so awful.

Very good idea, it's a win win situation. You'd do far better in a society that expresses your religion openly. Trying to Islamify Western civilizations isn't going to work.

Our government is in the immigration business. They know computers and robots are replacing workers but robots don't pay taxes (yet). They need to grow the population to keep the GDP up. Women entered the job market which raised the economy but lowered the quality of life and the number of babies born. No one is winning The only reason to come here is to make a better life for your kids and that's a maybe.

The only decision that should get anyone to leave Canada is, without doubt, the fact that it's become a totalitarian state thanks to Trudeau. However, he also invited more of you in, and, let's be frank, you want everyone there to be Muslim. And most of them dont want to be Muslim or be dictated to by guys support terrorism to achieve your aim of ruling the world. ALL the other religions in Canada and elsewhere are there for a quality life, and for decades found their prayer spots, ate fish or even kosher, attended public schools but taught their religion privately, survived civil law etc - all except one. Let's face it, the problems all started with the grip on the world caused by the mostly Arabian oil-producing countries holding the world to ransom and getting rich enough to buy out western properties and businesses. So, it really is best for all you the folks here, who feel the same, to head for countries where you fit into the country rather than a country having to fit into your ideologies. It's a win-win.

I am saddend by the number of people who have chosen to leave Canada, although I realize that this is a good decision for you and many others. This country has changed, and not for the better. Greed has taken over with grocery conglomerates eliminating competition and raising prices for record profits. Buying a house now requires a lottery win, not just a mortgage. It seems that we are working to pay taxes and the banks and the insurance companies. And I have yet to hear anything meaninfull about this situation from the government on these issues. i respect their decision. i wish all muslims in the western countries did that though I realize most cannot afford to. whih is why i believe western governments should initiate programs that finance muslim emigration. that can actually speed up the de-islamization of the western civilization. tbh, it's a win-win.

Really good answer indeed, because the whole whole should be responsible for peace in every corner of the world. However, he smartly ignored the fact that Palestine claims are based on muslim ideology, and hence muslim nations do need to take a larger part of the share in this burden. Obviously, no one wants to leave their land, but no one wants terrorists to win as well.

Even though it the Palestinians who started the fight to repel the Israeli and now suffering the Israeli can't justify what they are doing in the name of defence. If the Palestinians leave means they have given up their land and the racist would just brand them cowards for not staying, it's really cruel to put people in a no win situation.

I am right there with you guys but not for the reason you guys are leaving I hate the fighting. No matter who they are I hate seeing people that are innocent being hurt... Our problem here in America is Donald Trump! I am so fed up with that man and if he wins again I'm definitely moving to a different country but the same reasons you guys are freedom... Because if he gets back in office we will no longer be free unfortunately I have grandchildren and children and I don't know what to do about that, makes my heart so sad that I don't know what to do about them and I can't do anything for them but I try to keep my options opening hope and pray that we don't get him in office again.... Here is a novel idea- how about we tell Hamas not to start a war they can't win and then refuse to surrender while they hide in schools, hospitals, and densely populated areas. Hamas attacked civilians to start this war, and they prolong the suffering of palestinians by refusing to release hostages and/or surrender. Hamas essentially eliminated any hope for a two state solution and supercharged misery and suffering for palestinians. The logical conclusion is that Hamas is the enemy of palestinians.

If Hamas cared about their citizens, they’d have a plan for them and their safety once they initiated this war on Oct 7th. But it seems like Hamas’s only plan for them was to be disposable pawn martyrs caught in between them and Israeli forces. \n\nYou can’t torture, rape and kill 1,400 Israeli citizens/foreign nationals and take 200+ hostages back to Gaza during a depraved terrorist attack and then cry ceasefire when that country declares war and is winning. Especially when you’re still holding onto hostages and not honoring the terms of the first ceasefire by letting the Red Cross see the hostages. \n\nIf these other countries cared about the Palestinians, they’d take any refugees that wanted to leave. They clearly don’t want to do that for some reason. They’re watching from afar with their popcorn, saying “isn’t it terrible what the Israeli’s are doing.. but we won’t let them come here to escape, which would let the Israelis fight this war with Hamas, who initiated it, without civilians in between.” With no mention of how Hamas as put them in the middle and isn’t protecting them. Also no mention of any responsibility Hamas has for bring this war onto them by the large scale terrorist attack, that includes hundreds of civilian hostages of all ages.

Housing is very cheap for those that bought and/or rented and stayed 15+ years ago. Rent controls keep rents cheap (for them) and people in place as they do not want to move and take a higher rent and/or higher mortgage payment. This hides the problem until you find yourself evicted , break up or some event forces you into the housing market and then you get clapped.\n\nThis is an issue around the world in most developed countries. Canadian health care is good for the basic things but if the poop hits the fan and your condition is more serious America with insurance wins. If they diagnose you with a tumor in let's say May the give you a prescription to slow it's growth and maybe they can pencil you in for October to remove it (real story).
