Well, Trump announced declaring a National Emergency, and Deploying the U.S. Military to help with mass deportation, so there is a very strong reason to believe they intend to do just that. If they see it as a credible threat as of being destabilizing, as is to one of the main reasons of restrictions on immigration in the first place, to avoid overpopulation, or population control. Fundamentally speaking, 7-8 Billion people cannot all live in the lower 48 states of America ??. You have to regulate immigration for fundamental reasons. It’s the responsibility of the government, and more specifically or in any immediate scenario the current administration’s responsibility to address the current immigration status, that’s why it changes from administration to administration, to address the current status on immigration. If mass deportation is what is required to stabilize the situation, then that’s what they will do, and they will do whatever they have to do to accomplish that, depending on the critical nature of it. If Trump announces a NATIONAL EMERGENCY ‼️, and Deploys the Military then it’s critical. Regardless of who is in the White House. Trump is just putting his twist on it as Trump, but the government as a whole sees , or the majority more specifically see it as necessary to correct the imbalance.

It feels so foolish to keep trying bandaid solutions that harm the US labor pool. There's a couple of things I keep thinking about in regards to this. \n\n1. Most developed countries on earth are in the midst of or are preparing to deal with population crisis and depopulation. Strong immigration to the US stems this issue and is actually a huge advantage to the power and continuing visibility of the USA.\n\n2. Deportation and border control strike at the effect of immigration and leave the cause unharmed. People come to the USA because there's opportunities here, so why not make opportunities abroad?\n\nIf the USA were to remove benefits of dealing with china while offering massive incentives for moving manufacturing away from china directly to Latin America, not only would we be countering our Chinese dependency but we would also provide jobs at home and stem immigration. Not only that, but the businesses would be American and be controlled by Americans - a huge incentive to stay friendly to the USA.\n\nI don't know, just seems like our current policy and especially what Trump is suggesting are counter productive and stuck in a bygone way of thinking.

As an American we are very relieved, here in NYC about 500,000-750,000 people are here illegally (that we know about) and they take jobs, resources, and money from actual citizens. For example they cut our schools budget to fund hotel rooms for these people. Gave them debit cards, free phones, and a whole lot more. I hope Trump does it and removes all of them, for America's sake. I say this as a 25 year old former democrat. Mass migration is a detriment to any society. Not to mention the crime and resource problems that come with it.

My main concerners are human decency and the chance that a legal immigrant will get caught up in the mix.\n\nFirstly, i am concerned we will return to the concentration camps of the 1900s and the people in them wont have adequate supplies and support ehile they wait to be deported.\n\nSecondly my concern is for those on a green card or other form of legal immigration getting caught up in the mix and not being let go. I guess this also includes children of people here illegally who were born in America.\n\nFinally i think we need to stop thinking of asylum seekers as illegal immigrants. If you have come here and submitted the proper paperwork to be here then you should be allowed to stay until your paperwork has been processed.

To all those supporting the cracking down on these ‘illegals’ there’s something I need to know. Tell me, if they folks had an option to immigrate legally, would they? Do you think it’s some kind of malicious effort to come here against the law, or are they coming here out of desperation? Many of these people come from places like Haiti, Colombia, or Guatemala. Places that the CIA and American tax dollars destroyed. Illegal immigration wouldn’t be a problem if we didn’t make the situations of many of our southern neighbors unlivable.\n\nI’m a Floridian white dude who was comparatively born with the silver spoon in my mouth, I understand America is at a point economically where the last thing we need is to be spending money on non citizens, sending billions in foreign aid abroad or on undocumented immigrants. I can’t understand why these people waste thousands of dollars paying off authorities in Central America and Mexico just to enter the U.S. illegally, instead of using that money to move to other developed countries. There's a piece missing in the puzzle. Has anyone asked where's Mexico in all of this? everyone seems to forget that they're America's southern neighbor, and they're not helping with anything to mitigate the border crisis. Mexico has to be sanctioned, because they're not actively partaking in the protection of the shared border with the US, they're allowing immigrants to cross the border unchecked, sparing themselves the trouble of dealing with them. They're throwing the ball in America's court, making immigration America's problem. Since they share the border with America, they have an obligation to combat illegal immigrantion but they're not doing that. They want to get rid of their crimnals and the poverty in their country not by enforcing the law and trying to invest in their infrastructure to enhance the living standards of their people, instead they're encouraging them to move to America to find a better life. America doesn't have to pay the price of Mexico being a failed country. They're turning their backs on their own citizens and trying to get rid of them, obliging them to take the perilous journey across the border where they're prone to crime, drugs, rape, human trafficking, sex trafficking, child abuse and all sorts of tragedies but to them the ends justify the means, and they have the nerves to call America racist and inhumane for not rescuing them from the situation that they created for them in the first place. Since the vast majority of illegal immigrants came across the border with Mexico, they should be deported back to Mexico, and Mexico can take it from there, not our problem anymore

And another thing she don't realize is. They don't just come to your house and say okay. You guys get together and get your stuff. We're gonna put you in a bus and take you back to the border. No, they violently arrest you like your criminal. And throw you in jail for months sometimes years at a time waiting to be deported. And if you think you'll all be deported at once, you got another thing coming. The man might go and jump. The woman might go in July. The kids might go separately next year. If you don't believe me. I saw it with my own eyes in 2019. I was locked up in Colorado. I watched them raid construction sites hospitals. Numerous other businesses arresting hard work in Mexican people. Imagine all the nurses and workers at hospitals that are from other countries. I watched them arresting nurses. Arresting tab drivers Uber drivers. I watched them raid schools and arrest children. I watched them put these poor people in jails with real criminals. All the immigrants loved me. I was actually in a federal and ICE facility. So I literally saw all of the immigrants. I protected them from the racist white people. I'm from Tampa Florida, so I'm used to the jails and prisons being majority, black guys. But in Colorado, it's white supremace, gangs and Mexican gangs. What's even more sickening? Is people from Washington would come in and take some of the Indians out. And when they came back, I would ask them questions and they said that the government people would get information on their family back in India and see if they could pay 50k to stay in America. It was sickening. I found out that what they were doing was deporting. Poor people and the people that have money back in their country. They have their families send money and let them stay. I saw it with my own eyes.

Shes a true American citizen who is here legally, she believes people who are here illegally should have to leave, even her family. She’s actually only in the right. I think it’s important to note that her choice of words implies a greater issue than just supporting Trump, lack of empathy. The bulk of people that vote for Trump have two mentalities: “if I had to do it, so do you” and “this doesn’t affect me personally so I don’t care”. It’s bizarre to me that people think we need to take America “back” as if this country isn’t made up of a majority of immigrants. Most of our ancestors did NOT come here legally. America is in dire need of education, not just about elections, but political theory in general. So many people think Socialism = Marxism and immediately write it off as diabolical to even mention. The truth is, more communal ideologies will boost the economy not hinder it. I was worried when Trump won, but now I feel like maybe we need to experience authoritarian regimes like his in order to actually wake up and see how our lack of knowledge and care is running the country into the ground.
