India is a big nation with with diverse peope. The Indians in Canada are Punjabis. So blame Punjabis not ALL Indians. Also the issue with Punjabis in Canada is immigration fraud and exploiting poor Punjabis young people who came for a better life. Also many of the low paying jobs are getting taken over by Punjabis as part of immigration fraud and people are getting angry because other canadians feel discriminated. The truth is that it is not a racism but it is part of the immigration fraud and exploitation of these young Punjabis that their parents spent tons of money to come to canada. Let give you an example, Punjabi managers at lets say company X will hire and sign his/her work permit visa and make them pay $30K as a bribe. \nThese practices harm both Canadians and Punjabi young people who came for a better life. \nIn conclusion, let's not blame ALL punjabis and blame the Canadian government for allowing the crisis to develop.\nBtw, i am not an Indian but i just wanted to give a fair comment. \nTake care

I think it’s high time to have a 15-year moratorium on hiring anyone who isn’t a Canadian citizen. No exceptions for PRs. Our people need to be prioritized first.

While I agree with most of what was said in the video, there are a few major mistakes that are very misleading. For example, the video states that Canadians spends more on gas than any of the G7 members. This is FAR for the truth. I’m a German who moved to Canada 3 years ago. Gas here in Canada is HALF the price of what it is in Germany! So, the per litre price is super cheap in Canada! So, why is the total number on spending for gas so high? Because Canada is insanely HUGE. People drive insane distances and thus need an insane amount of gas. You can’t compare total spending on gas. You would need to compare the price per litre of gas, which is pretty cheap in Canada. In fact, the only country that has cheaper gas than Canada in the G7, is the USA. All the other G7 members pay more per litre. \n\nThen you also mentioned dairy prices. Yes, they are highly regulated. But compared to Europe, dairy prices are almost the same as in Europe. Again, the only country with cheaper prices in the G7 is the USA. What is (insanely) more expensive however, is meat, housing and groceries in general.\n \nIn general, your point still stands: Canada is insanely expensive. However, you listed the “wrong” items, because the ones you listed are relatively cheap compared to the G7!

I honestly think the government is creating hate and racism by cutting out the white Canadian and letting there be racist job posting against white heterosexual men in Canada , you don’t think Canada can vet everybody that comes in here of course they can. Another reason why many non immigrant Canadians are leaving the big cities, and moving far from them to smaller no invaded towns through out Canada where they can also find community with people they recognize. All humans a similar and want to be with and around those we recognize, we can tolerate a small amount that's ok just not hundreds of thousands or millions of people we have no familiarity with.

The solution to all of Canadas problems? Import a mass amount of people from one particular country where the standard of living is very low, that way they can live 20 people in one house and work all the minimum wage jobs that real Canadians can’t afford to work. Well done Canada.

Similar has happened to Surrey/North Delta British Columbia of the 400,000 residents living here,179,000 are from India. I remember years ago when Brampton was a small quaint town back in the 1970s this India didn't exist. Generally this happens when years ago real estate was cheap all the Indians moved in to the cheaper part of the community then slowly took over, and invaded the community. Same happened in 1995 in Richmond BC when Hong Kong leases expired with China. My issues is that Canadians grew up with diversity, however now you walk into Tims, McDonald's, Walmart, etc., and you see no diversity, just 100% Indians in most places. Hardly any blacks, Asians, eastern Europeans, etc. It is also a matter of too many too fast, not enough time for them to integrate into Canadian society. As far as government, they are bringing in too many people without the infrastructure to support them, so they are taking away from Canadians of all races.

Essentially because Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party of Canada didn't care who they let into the country and flooded it with anyone from violence--ridden countries who could make it to our borders. Thus while no doubt getting some worthwhile immigrants plenty of people who were troublesome in their own country were now gifted to Canada. This resulted in increased crime and violence at the same time the Liberal Party of Canada moved to disarm Legacy Canadians and to reduce punishments for criminal behaviour. Pretty much the same as in not so jolly old England although we haven't reached English levels of daily violence.

Canada should immediately close its maligned express entry visa programme. Canada gave PR to numerous undeserving people who are now becoming a problem to Canadians, most people who entered from express entry should be sent back. No country does this what canada did, it's total madness.

If the situation was reversed, we were living in an impoverished country and were invited to immigrate to another country with better opportunities, I know damn well Canadians would jump at it, so I can't blame Indians for coming here. i think for the most part indian people are hard workers and i deffinatly dont dislike them as a whole but when you bring to many of one race to a country thats supposed to be multi cultural and alot of them refuse to adapt to canadian culture its going to cause issues. Even indians that were born in canada have had enough of it. the infastructure, housing, healthcare ect can simply not support it.

When so many immigrants enter a country that its infrastructure can not handle the increased population, people start to be anti-immigration. People who are not the majority race and culture, are easy targets for people who are frightened by the rise of homelessness and crime, and loss of employment. In Canada, even in small rural towns, long established residents see that their children can not find work, or housing, while obvious immigrants are everywhere as waitresses, cashiers, and other unskilled jobs which their children used to do when starting out. On top of that, many Canadians can not find a family doctor, and our healthcare system is strained to the breaking point. People are frightened, and want the government to tighten immigration policies. I think that our government did not consider all the factors when it opened the door so wide for immigration. Now it has to take a step back, and ensure that the infrastructure is in place before immigrants arrive in Canada, not be forever trying to fix the problems after they have caused havoc!

The Nigerians here in Canada are NOT the problem. It’s the other nationality (which I will not name) who are taking Canadian jobs, rising into positions of power, and then refusing to hire anyone other than their own unnamed nationality. From what I understand, nationalistic nepotism is actually very common in their culture. \n\nThese deportation numbers need to RISE to fix the problem. We don’t need these people in Canada.

I'm from Mexico and I've applied to Canadian PR, but I'm seriously considering other options like Europe or Asia. I was considering Canada for to the security and better healthcare (even if I had to live paycheck to paycheck), but from the comments I'm honestly discouraged.\n\nHere in Mexico wages in IT have remained stagnant yet rent and food prices keep growing up each year. Even with over +6 years of experience I can barely afford a room in a shared apartment and just enough for food, let alone travel or save for retirement. Crime and corruption is rampant, even the safe cities have become very insecure, and gentrification is pushing way too many people into poverty.

Canada is not for people who are dependent on maids and helper for day to day work. We have moved to Canada in 2010 and very happily established here. In 2-3 months you can judge Canadian life. It’s a beautiful country with very high potential for ambitious people, who are willing go through the initial learning curve humbly. I have numerous life changing stories of people including myself who are living dream life because we have chosen to be comfortable being uncomfortable. Healthcare is free and way better than India. I have delivered two babies here and have received luxurious treatment with zero bill. Very satisfied to see my children growing to be polite and good human beings. It’s everyone’s individual choice.

NO!\n\n4- Did the Canadian government provide the newly arrived immigrants with a solid, safe and clean social structure where they can live freely without any risk to themselves and their families, where they feel completely safe and without any fear, anxiety and concern in terms of attack and crime?....... NO!\n\n5- Did the Canadian government provide the newly arrived immigrants with a democratic state and a fair social society structure where there is no racism, discrimination, inequality of opportunity, favoritism, incompetence and harassment, whether covert or overt?........ NO!\n\n6- Did the Canadian government grant any right to vote or be elected to immigrants who came to the country legally during their stay in Canada until they became citizens, did they give them the right to vote for the party or people who would govern them, did they give them the right to vote at least in local elections other than general elections? ....... NO!\n\n-So, do you think that the Canadian government, which does not fulfill any of these, is a country ready to accept immigrants? ....... OF COURSE NO!\n\nTHEN, the Canadian State and its government do not have the right to say a single word about immigrants, and the Canadian State should now prepare the trillions of dollars that the immigrants themselves will pay as a result of the compensation lawsuits they will file against all these human rights violations that the state has implemented against immigrants for years, in a planned and systematic manner, unfairly and mercilessly. The Canadian government has deliberately left the immigrants it has accepted into the country, whether they are illegal or legal, hungry, helpless, unemployed and poor, has implemented all kinds of racism, discrimination and harassment against immigrants, has torn families apart, has never allowed them to feel safe in Canada, has not taken any timely, appropriate, necessary and primary duty measures to ensure this, and has done all these within the scope of its fully conscious and previously established anti-immigrant policies and the plans and programs to which those policies belong, because otherwise it could not use and exploit immigrants to their core, in this sense, it is the Canadian State itself that is carrying out human smuggling and immigrant trafficking.
