As a international student who just came to Canada last year, I understand how extremely bad the cultural bubble is that is created by Indian people, you have to understand that for even someone like me who wants to adopt the culture here and explore other cultures, its not easy. Generally I have faced concealed racism when i try to interact with people from different cultures (latinos, white and especially asian people). Regardless, Im trying to still get out of the bubble and have somewhat managed to do so, Im just trying to explain my point of view. Im also not denying that the majority of the people in the bubble are not trying to get of the bubble ( I hate this mindset too)

I’m an Indian international student currently in a master’s program in Canada and I think this video perfectly speaks to a lot of problems in the country. I chose Canada due to its high quality of education. I personally also think the country messed up with their mass immigration with no quality check of individuals coming from India. If a person is allowed to be in a foreign country they must assimilate into its culture and values or at the bare minimum not force your own beliefs on the people there. I find a lot of entitlement certain immigrant population feel quite ridiculous , it’s not racist to want people who come into your country to be respectful of it’s values. I would just like to say that not every Indian immigrant is the same though there are people who just wanted a different life and embrace the culture of the country that they had an opportunity to be a part of.

Just wanna present some of my views on this topic, as a indian living in Canada, a lot of points in this discussion are pretty valid. Although, the hate is also in my opinion a little misdirected.\n\nInternational students pay three, maybe even five times as much as domestic students in terms of tuition fees, and while I 100% agree that not everybody even deserves to stay here, a major portion of fault is on government. If you want to make an argument, that government or the country in general never promise the residency status in Canada, then regulate the tuition fees, make it manageable for everyone.\n\nIf you don't want to do that, fair enough, then provide opportunities, there 100% are bad apples in the population, I will not deny that! But you called them, you took the responsibility, you promised the opportunities and students paid for it. Now you hate us for that, either build the bridge both ways or don't hate.\n\nI am genuinely more frustrated with the system rather than immigrants, it is becoming a widespread trend to hate immigrants but I believe the government is just as much at a fault. If you think I am wrong, I would to hear your views on the topic, it is a pretty complex one, just be respectful.

Indians can't integrate into Canadian lifestyle and ethics. They do not want to integrate and blend into society with harmony. They think they are better and smarter. The reality is that they aren't. They are just average joe like 99% of the world population. On top, they are the cheaters, scammers and liars. They think being a cheater means being smart. This is why majority of Canadians have negative opinion about them. I lived with them for 5 years. I have at least tried to understand. I couldn't. I learned all above in 5 years. I have seen that they bribed driving test examiners, lied police. I have seen that they cheated banks, credit card companies and CRA as well. They harassed people by calling their personal phone numbers to sell service. I have also seen that they have cheated TTC, YRT by not paying their very reasonable 3-4 dollars fare. I have seen that they did committed insurance fraud. I have seen that they stole grocery from department stores. They speed, disobeys traffic rules and more.\n\nThey are also financially frustrated and feel homesick. This is the main reason. They are suffering here and stressed.\n\n\nIt is not racism. It is a behavioral reaction. This will not stop.

Major chunk of Indian immigrants are from a state in india called Punjab. And most of them belong to Khalistani Ideology which is a violent anti India organisation. As an Indian who was born and raised in Canada (immigrant parents from 1994), one of my favourite things about being a Canadian has been finding my own path as a citizen. I still love my culture but if I wanted to be in India, I would have just chose to move back. My parents came here to give me a better life and opportunity. I have fully embraced that. It frustrates me to no end when I see other Indians come here and disrespect the country that is giving them freedom. Canada isn’t your personal frat party to act like a public disturbance. I have proudly adjusted to Canadian culture and I associate with it more than I do India, and I always will. My parents didn’t give everything up and move here just for me to pretend I’m in India. \nI hate that I get lumped in with this mess sometimes.

I find this so distressing and alarming, we are quite literally watching Canada disappear before our very eyes. It used to be that immigrants would trickle in gradually, and people new to the country (like my own family a few generations back) would aspire to assimilate into the culture, adopt our values, and become Canadians. But these new immigrants are completely different… They want all the benefits that come from living & working in Canada, but have no interest in actually becoming Canadian. I walk around in my own city now and more than 50% of the people I pass by are speaking in foreign languages and make zero effort to learn or speak English. Indians are literally everywhere and completely dominate certain jobs and industries. This has all happened in the span of about 10 years too. I feel like an outsider in my own country, and I feel like this county has lost its identity completely ?

I am an Indian student in Canada and I can say that the government here is very corrupt. You will rarely find student over here who came here to study. Many students can't even communicate in English. It is not safe place for Hindus. The main reason of racism over here our community doesn't want to adopt their culture and not follow the rules. Canadian government brought many below average students here and that is the main reason for unemployment.

Yes you guys want to show the dark side of a country so that many Indians individuals should not go over there or any other abroad countries...and stay in India and continue there endless struggle in cracking competitive exams like JEE NEET or UPSC etc. Whatever you guys are showing is only one side of the coin. The points highlighted are true, but the main reason is Indian student just want to go to Canada and believe the so called agents…Honestly, the agent trap these student in bogus colleges which would demand high fees and no career option…. Students also blindly take this option… when agents tell them… no Ielts required… no work experience required etc…. I believe India is the best country to stay because:\n- Rents extremely high in developed cities . Property prices unaffordable in big cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata. People are paying life long EMI till death.\n- Teachers focus more on Private tutions to make money. If you don’t take lessons from them, they will fail you in education system \n-Government doctors more focus on Private practices than their Government jobs. In ICU doctors sometimes sleep because they are tired for their private pactices.\n- Court takes decades to settle court cases. \n- Extremely high inflation - Food prices uncontrolled \n- Retirees not worked for Government getting hard time to pay bills specially medical treatment cost. It’s really hard for them to stay in big cities. No Indian government help and support. Government basically don’t care them. Only big big words at the time of vote \n- middle class working upto 11 pm to save their job , no retirement money- just surviving \n- After completing MBA, lot of job seekers land in selling target oriented credit card selling and driving Uber/ Toto \n- Ministers have so much under table money they keep their money inside the walls of their property \n- Sides of Highways full of Poverty . Some of the data shared is incorrect. For example you dont need 190k salary for mortgage. Even someone with an average income of 60k can own a home. Housing crisis is in major cities like Toronto, Vancouver the same like we see super expensive housing in Mumbai for example. \n\nPregnant lady does not have to wait for 30 weeks. That is completely incorrect. \n\nThe drug problem and the images that you share is from Vancouver which you mentioned already but that is not the case you see in Ontario, Alberta or any other province. Its like how Punjab has drug problem but it doesnt mean that Gujarat is the same when it comes to drugs. \n\nThe protests currently happening around deportation is also due to the fact that so many students from India were scammed by an Indian agent who sent them to Canada on fake admission letters. few points are absolutely wrong-\nCanada provides one time post graduation work permit(PGWP) only once after completion of study..They never promised to any international students to give PR or Citizenship but Canada gives you time to establish your comprehensive ranking score in order to get the permanent residency but these students who are protesting could not fit in that criteria, Thats why they are looking for the extension in their work permits which makes no sense actually.A fun fact a lot students can't talk in English here bcuz they hardly study or learn some skill. Your language proficiency is one of the main criteria to get jobs and later to get your PR here.\nCanada didnt promise that. So please do not share this wrong information that Canada is deporting people just for no reason. \nA lot of froudulent cases came in limelight, For example some students produced fake documents and chose non recognized college for studies, Hence they are being deported. \nCanada,UK and Germany.. they all have line ups for patients becsuse its free and people go to emergency for small small things. What ever problems you showed in the video is only related to International Students. But at the same time when International students come to Canada to study not to settle. When CBSA always asked them how long is your study and what would you do after your studies are completed. Every student would tell them that they will go back to their country once their student work permit is finished. Then CBSA will allow you to enter Canada. Go tell them when you come to airport that you wanna stay here for ever they will kick you out right away. I don't know why students are protesting when they knew the rules for students are different from other categories. And it is changing every year. The problem is international students not the Canadian Govt. Indians know this is the easy way to get into Canada. Canada is a free country to everyone there is no discrimination . I have seen 50 year people from India coming to Canada for study but actually they want to settle here. Drugs problem is everywhere in the world. India also has druggists and mafias. What's the value of a human life in india. You don't have footpaths to walk, cars will never let you cross the road. There is no pollution free air to breathe. Only 10 percent of indians can afford car. More than 70 percent of Indians live in poverty. You talk about excellent hospitals in India, but that's only for the rich and middle class people who can afford it. Have you seen the state of affairs of government owned hospitals?. Also let's talk about work life balance, India has one of the worst work life balance. Is this the sort of life you want to live. Canada might have issues but every country has issues. Work in India is strssful and on top of that travelling to work, u don't get autos, buses and trains are super crowded. Have you seen trh state of traffic in bangalore?. And talking about buying a house, houses are not affordable to buy by a common man in metro cities. You think a common man can afford houses worth 1 cr and above? I can keep on talking but please get your facts correct before demeaning other country.

Agreed with all your points and thanks for sharing. But honestly, I fail to understand two points here. 1. People living in Canada and commenting that it is true and they are baffled with this whole situations, when exactly you are coming back to India? People will tell you that they want to come back but no one will. It is because those who actually left for Canada in order to have a better lifestyle are still having a better lifestyle in Canada and they will never return back (atleast in the near future). They left for Canada citing the reasons that India is polluted and they are toured based on religion (you know exactly whom I am talking about) but whatever the case is...they are still not coming back. 2. No country is perfect, I agree that Canada has its own problems to deal with but then why Indians are leaving for US, UK and Australia where racisms and cost of living high too? It is because they have issues with India too and those who have issues with a well diverse and prospered country like India, will have problems in other country as well. So if you don't wanna come to Canada, all good but other countries have same problems as well (atleast 80% matches the points discussed in the video - exclude drug ofcouse).
