The problem I have with Indians is that they dont like Canadians, make no effort to learn the language and culture, are very rude, entitled and disrespectful towards anyone that dont look like them. Then why are you here in Canada? This is a very multicultural country, which is something they obviously knew before coming here. They treat us Canadians with such hatred, disdain and indifference, especially in the workplace. Indians are always playing the victim and throwing the race card around or just protesting around every corner, every damn week when something doesn't work in their favor. If you're that damn unhappy here in Canada, you're free to leave anytime. And many Indians in Managerial positions will only hire other Indians, even though a lot of them aren't quality for the job or their English is very poor. Canada has always been very excepting and tolerant towards different ethnicities, but that's because they've always put in the effort of getting to know and learning from us.

Canada used to be such a great country while growing up until our overly high paid politicians have worked with corporations against Canadians to destroy our economy.\nCanadians used to be polite but are bitterly angry now. Just shameful.

To be Frank no one in the world think Canadian education is better. And no Canadian institutions or government think they are providing some kind of top quality Education. It is 21st century world doesn't need a college class room to get knowledge.\n\nAll you see is just a business. Canadian population is shrinking so government have to stabilize fund flow. That is why they are approving visa in large numbers. At first they want to attract more people, now they don't want to so once done with studies probably they will run of gic and other funds literally become useless \n\n\nSo it is better to stayaway from western colleges. Invest that fund in their own countries. No country can provide anything better than where you are from weather it is india, Pakistan, sreelankan, Bangladesh, Nigeria where ever. Last year canada accept 8hundred thousand students. Which means your country lost 32billion$ as just tuition fees to a country that hate you\n\n\nStay safe immigrants

Canada is not for people who are dependent on maids and helper for day to day work. We have moved to Canada in 2010 and very happily established here. In 2-3 months you can judge Canadian life. It’s a beautiful country with very high potential for ambitious people, who are willing go through the initial learning curve humbly. I have numerous life changing stories of people including myself who are living dream life because we have chosen to be comfortable being uncomfortable. Healthcare is free and way better than India. I have delivered two babies here and have received luxurious treatment with zero bill. Very satisfied to see my children growing to be polite and good human beings. It’s everyone’s individual choice.

NO!\n\n3- Did the Canadian government provide the newly arrived immigrants with a sufficient monthly payment, including the rent of a house befitting human dignity, balanced and sufficient nutrition expenses, summer and winter clothing, daily transportation costs within the city, monthly house bills, communication and correspondence expenses, equal and sufficient education payment, cultural activities and a daily pocket money so that they can live humanely?...... NO!\n\n4- Did the Canadian government provide the newly arrived immigrants with a solid, safe and clean social structure where they can live freely without any risk to themselves and their families, where they feel completely safe and without any fear, anxiety and concern in terms of attack and crime?....... NO!\n\n5- Did the Canadian government provide the newly arrived immigrants with a democratic state and a fair social society structure where there is no racism, discrimination, inequality of opportunity, favoritism, incompetence and harassment, whether covert or overt?........ NO!\n\n6- Did the Canadian government grant any right to vote or be elected to immigrants who came to the country legally during their stay in Canada until they became citizens, did they give them the right to vote for the party or people who would govern them, did they give them the right to vote at least in local elections other than general elections? ....... NO!\n\n-So, do you think that the Canadian government, which does not fulfill any of these, is a country ready to accept immigrants? ....... OF COURSE NO!\n\nTHEN, the Canadian State and its government do not have the right to say a single word about immigrants, and the Canadian State should now prepare the trillions of dollars that the immigrants themselves will pay as a result of the compensation lawsuits they will file against all these human rights violations that the state has implemented against immigrants for years, in a planned and systematic manner, unfairly and mercilessly. The Canadian government has deliberately left the immigrants it has accepted into the country, whether they are illegal or legal, hungry, helpless, unemployed and poor, has implemented all kinds of racism, discrimination and harassment against immigrants, has torn families apart, has never allowed them to feel safe in Canada, has not taken any timely, appropriate, necessary and primary duty measures to ensure this, and has done all these within the scope of its fully conscious and previously established anti-immigrant policies and the plans and programs to which those policies belong, because otherwise it could not use and exploit immigrants to their core, in this sense, it is the Canadian State itself that is carrying out human smuggling and immigrant trafficking.

It is the oddest and dumbest thing to protest in a country you're not even a citizen of. If you are this unhappy that you are protesting, you are supposed to pack your bags and leave. The headline is misleading as everyone knows citizenship can not be demanded. What these entitled foreign students are demanding is perm residency via extended work permits. Extending permits to five years (as they've demanded) would DESTROY the Canadian economy and have a permanent effect on Canadian identity as well as no end to the housing crisis. Furthermore, many of these students who originate from India's two most poorest and crime ridden states: Punjab and Gujarat, will contribute to the growth of crime cartels, such as the thriving car theft ring targeting cars in the Toronto GTA and the Air Canada gold heist that took place at Toronto Pearson Airport in 2023 resulting in the largest theft in Canadian history ($22.5 million). Guess what country where all six suspect are from ? Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out.

What do you expect when you grant citizen ships to people of a country with highest population in the world. People who want to throw them out should know the Canadian school charge lots of money as tuition fees. These poor kids borrowed money or sold their property back home to come here. If you don’t want them don’t accept to the country, there are other nations happily accept them.

I as a canadian citizen have suffered from those people in my work place. they dont know how to intiigrate and thry dont allow any person to work in the same place if the person is non-indian. so racist . its about time they leave this country for canadians.

They want to protest but refuse to be interviewed to share their views on what's happening and why they need to leave. If you're there to protest and fight for your rights, it makes sense to take advantage of the interview and clearly express what you're fighting for. Ignoring someone who wants to understand your perspective suggests you may have an attitude problem. This could be the reason you're being targeted—because you're unwilling to do something as simple as explaining what you're standing up for. Kudos to the only man who accepted the interview, even while someone was trying to take the mic away from him. In the end, I hope they can find a solution for both our Canadian and Indian brothers and sisters, and that their countries will prosper again, creating more opportunities for them.

How do they have time to protest? Shouldn't they be studying or working? I wish I had time to protest about all the things that are not right, but I have to work to pay my bills. I'm Canadian born I've lived here for 44 years and I have not had time to protest not one day of my life. The nerve of these people coming to Canada and thinking they have more rights than Canadian Citizens. Go back to your Country and protest there. Indians that came here and were at boarder security were asked specifically what is the reason to you coming to Canada? If the answer was school then they were specifically told that once their schooling is finished that they will be returning back to India. If they answered yes then they able to enter the country, if they answered anything but yes they were on the very next plane back to India. \nSo students that are failing their exams and then protesting that they should be Canadian citizens. \nGive me a break. \nI was born here and have paid taxes through the nose my whole life. \nI deserve to be here, Indians don't. \nShip them back and make Brampton and all of Canada great again. Students are stealing Canadian's jobs. Our kids can't even find temporary jobs these days. Trudeau has really ruined this beautiful country. Students should not be allowed to work outside of Campus and should go back after completing their studies.

Finally Trudeau is listening to Canadians over the past decade the workplace has become very troublesome with the Refugee and immigrants they stop hiring skilled Canadians. Immigrants who are finish with their education should go back home to their native country of Nigeria and India .

My parents were immigrants, but they came here when there was a points system and immigration was based on merit and those that respected Canadian culture. Immigration is important but we should be bringing them in based on merit and can speak English fluently and have allegiance to the Canadian flag only and leave their home countries BS back at home.

I have been a victim of racism from people coming from rural Indian areas, some Canadians I met were 10 times better than the Indians I met here and every time I got ripped off was from a person from south asian country, not all but some are so so bad! Specially Punjabi females they are very aggressive judgmental and rude.
