Trump will ruin the North American economy, and when normal businesses cannot survive, federally funded, corrupted corporations by foreign entities and loyalist to Trump‘s next term will be hailed as saviours and given extra power. Trump‘s aggressive foreign policies, allowing Trump to expand US territory will cause world, military conflict, and lock Americans under fascist doctrine and possibly cause World War 3.

It disgusts me so much how stupid the Americans could be to elect this rubbish! At the same time, I learned a lot: I always wondered how the Nazis came to be here - now I know! Lies and shit-talk and people will believe you! It makes me sad and angry that we humans are apparently NOT able to learn. \n \nOnce again, it hits US little people the hardest: Trump, Weidel and all their names are playing golf and denying royally and we are in trouble. \n \nI wonder how much longer we want to watch this?

He’s a scared little rat a draft dodger and think America if he was afraid to fight in the war then what makes us think that he would protect us now he’s a scared rat. He’s afraid of his own shadow. I feel so sorry for our men and women in the military now and our veterans are taking a pounding very sad . He’s only doing it to benefit for his own greed. Very sad human being. And after all that damage that he will do to this country, in the four years it will be so damaged. It will never heal.

As a Canadian by birth and an American citizen and US veteran by choice I detest Donald Trump. Trump is cancer that has metastasized to the whole Republican Party. General Milley was right when he said that Trump is the most dangerous person in America and by extension, the whole world. I stand with Canada, Mexico and Ukraine.

Canada should not only retalliate with tarrifs, but should challenge the lawfullness of American tarrifs under the GATT, the USMCA and in the US courts. The tarrifs are unlawful under American law. Canadians are generally refusing to buy ANY American goods. This should continue. America: you f'd with the wrong country.

Trump is talking out of his ass. We are responsible for less than 1% of fentanyl. We pay more money to states than states pays to us. We helped with 911, their wars and their California fires. We invested Canadian money, & time & lost Canadian lives. When is USA paying us back ???? . \n\nTrump has sold USA to Russia. We need to raise prices to all products going to USA on top of tariffs & consider not selling some products. We need to make relationships with other countries who support Canada. We have pressure minerals, and oils. Let them figure out how to get them when Canada steps back.

Not only is Canada united in solidarity against Trump and his trade war, I think that we are seeing right here that Americans, Europeans, and people from every continent, also have a sense of unity and solidarity with us and Mexico and against the bully and dictator who currently is squatting in the White House. \nOrganise. \nMobilise. \nResist.

This is how a leader should speak. He speaks with sincerity and with clarity. He doesnt speak broadly just to an entire audience. He speaks to each group of people that this is concerning to, and making sure we understand the magnitude of this situation. He adjusts how he speak to each group, and also to our sad president. Thats the vibe of the message he was giving me. Many different types of languages and emotions are spoken at the same time.\n\nI love our country, but I do not agree with how our currents presidents policies, changes, and tear down of our government/agencies in just 2 months. I cant imagine the months to come. People are already struggling, and are divided so much more that Americans are not siding with each other, but siding with Canada and Mexico who have been so patient and understanding with us. We need to stand up against our president to stop this isolation and division. We are already divided in our country. I can't stand to see we are starting to be divided globally. This will litterally shrink our economy and our opportunities. Not only that, it puts our national security in peril. We need to do better to work together in harmony.

I normally don't agree in Mr Trudeau, but he nailed it. You Canadians should be proud - As mr Trump should be a shamed. USA is from now an ally to Mr Putin and his world of scumbags. It's too bad that Trudeau's Government did so little about fentanyl, also about our poorly-controlled border and destructive immigration non-policies for so long. Hence, driving Trump's scorched-earth policy (The Tariffs). That said, it blows me away that Trump was so vociferous about the Lawfare that was lined up against him in 2023-24, but he doesn't see that excess use of the power of the State is wrong and immoral in this Canadian and Mexican case. Trump only knows the right of might. Threats, coercion, bullying. He doesn't otherwise distinguish between right and wrong; only about what is good for him and his ego. The Tariffs will drive very bad business outcomes in the US. Including, inflation, and lost jobs. The Stock Markets are already tanking. At this particular stage, his ego will not allow him to back off, that's my prediction. Much pain for all Americans (and obviously for Canadians) will first have to ensue. Canada must receive its spanking, and Donald will have to save face. Ultimately, he'll invent some dishonest pretense to put the genie in the bottle, while the economic damage to all sides will be severe. But ... Why would he care?

Those commenting about what we are doing to Ukraine need to get their heads out if the sand…the Ukrainian people don’t want Zelinski but cannot get rid of him! He has taken hundreds of billions of dollars from the US and has no plan for peace in his nation…Pres Trump says enough is enough, and he is trying to not only end the war, but recoup massive amounts of money we wrongly gave through a deal for natural resources. Sounds like a plan that’s good for everyone involved, and that’s how you make deals! We cannot give whst we do not have & with our debt , we cannot afford to keep printing money, devaluing the dollar, and giving it away at the expense of hard working N Americans!

Canada already taxes US imports at an average of 25%, so these US tariffs only balance the playing field. All that said, like Zelensky, Trudeau seems to forget that Canada needs the US, but the US doesn't need Canada. He says that it is going to be tough in Canada; true.
