let's not blame only Indians and Chinese. Countries such as EU countries say only EU citizens but gives Ukrainian citizens priority over other non-EU candidates. Why? why are Ukrainians getting into EU countries, USA, Canada more easily than other non-EU immigrants? Ukraine is non-EU. oh wait because they are generally white and blue eyed?

When I saw that this was posted by the Guardian my first thought was the article would be a narrative slanted heavily to the left. I'm glad to see that there was some accurate reporting, but also not surprised to see the usual left wing disingenuousness. For example it gives the impression that the Take Back Canada Reddit group was taken down because it was somehow racist, violent, etc., rather than the more likely explanation that Reddit, like most other big tech platforms no longer allows discussions that go against the political narrative. \n\nLet's not forget that The Guardian and those of their ilk are largely responsible for the mess Canada is in. They sold the Marxist narrative. They promote wokeism, and the idea that to have a contrary opinion on immigration is racist. Now they're trying to pretend they care. It's all BS.

Trudeau is killing Canada. Import migrants, create native housing demand (drives prices up), build more housing for the migrants. My family came to Canada in the early 80s, invested over $200,000 for 3 businesses over 35 years, employing over 30 Canadians. I am from Pakistan and all my friends and relatives moved to UK, US, Australia and Canada. When I say all I mean 18 out of 20 left Pakistan and they don't want to come back to Pakistan ever because who doesn't want a better lifestyle for themselves and for their future generations but my father advised me never to leave your country because no matter what other countries will never accept you as their own citizens. They are being housed while veterans are left on the streets - literally no room at the inn. Did we not spend millions of taxpayer dollars on it? I know Mexico didn't pay a penny on it. Today when you drive along Steeles Ave, along the southern edge of Markham, you will see only Chinese light boxes and 3d signage adorning all of the super malls there. No English and no French. Canada is getting the Globalisation treatment that all western nations have had in the last three decades. The more immigration into the country from non Western countries the more cultural and liveability friction they will have.
