Main difference the US claims to be the land of the free (for some) in Canada we are truly free

Canada has been good to me for last 20 years. That said, the system doesn't work for me. When I look at myself as highly qualified individual and when I compare myself to folks who are much less educated than me making the same or more (after tax), I feel discouraged to motivate myself to work hard. What's the point? That's why I've decided to move to US. It's really a land of opportunity for someone like me.

One must get all the information ( which is available in public domain ) before landing the proposed country. I know some guys, who landed Canada after their Graduation and for their Master's degree. They r ok now. They are all Academically qualified from their native country and higher education from Canada. All of them are working now and leading a good life there. All the professionals who've very good academic background, should undergo some type of higher education there in Canada. Other wise doctors / engineers may end up their life as taxi drivers / gardener... etc. Get thorough knowledge about the country where one has to go., study there and get well placed and live happily ever after. - From own experience -

This is so true not just for those immigrant applications. I had a vistors visa application and i was denied. My provincial and express entry (working visa) application has been in idle for almost 8 years. And i have multiple IELTS exam with OBS of 8.0 (min of 7.0) due to the fact that its expired. On top of that i have already exhausted Php500,000 around CND 12,500 of monetary resources for this application alone. And my sister paid Moyal a canadian agency CND 6,000 for the processing of my papers. And its already 8 years but its been idle that long. And i have seen Chinese people (from vlogs)coming into Canada getting their visa stamped with no read or write in english. And they land a job in Canada. I genuinely dont know how Canadian govt assess immigrants. Ive even seen a local dog (vlog) from our country come to Canada with no muss or fuss at all wih its application to stay in canada. Maybe i should just be a dog instead. Hmmmm....?

Well put . I came to Canada at the age of 12 in 1992. After graduating in 2002 I was unable find a job in my field even entry level. I worked in cx service for another 5 years until i paid the little student loan I owed 15K. Then I made a way to move to USA. Took me 3 weeks to land a job in my field. I also got my masters. After 3 years in the USA came back to over priced Toronto to get married. Even as a nurse Toronto is unaffordable. Bills and more bills. Goal is to return to my native country, I already bought lands and is preparing. I got kids but I don't want them to stress. Education is everywhere.

Great video! I would like to share my personal experience so far: I came to Toronto in 2020 for a 2-year college program, met great friends that became family (flew back to my home country during the pandemic, graduated, and came back 3 months ago) and applied for my PGWP. However, I am planning on moving back home next year. Canada is a vast country, with friendly people in its majority, a rigorous taxation system, but what makes me mad is that some Youtubers portray that PR is the ultimate goal (which is not always granted) and even promote this toxic attitude that if you don't aspire to PR then you are wasting your time. Immigration is not for everyone, sometimes I think to myself if I should've invested that college money ($8k per semester) to buy a piece of land that over time will be more profitable. It leaves me with a bittersweet taste, but I will be forever thankful to Canada for the friendships that I made here and the experiences that I had.

Thanks for this video. Once you have your PR, after landing in Canada, can you access loan and other funding for education? Is it advisable to get a loan in Canada?

Very nice videos....What happens when you land in canada?? Where do you go?? Like if you dont have a friend or relative...do you need to find a place to stay before flying to canada???

wow! truly Inspiring! I am trying to land in Canada, With a job in which they can provide the PR visa stuff, I'm so new to this stuff but seeing your video gave me hopes to keep trying on. I don't even have my passport ready as there are some add issues and I just gave up on it. I really want to get there and start a new life. I have work experience of 5+ years in graphic designing, Well experienced in fashion industry and currently working as Graphic Designer at at game company. Do you think I'll be able to get there? without wasting money to get the PR? or is it even possible to get a job first and then they can give PR? is this even a thing? anyone who can help have my blessings.

Extremely detailed and well delivered. Finally understood the complete process after going through numerous articles and videos, none of which were very helpful. Thanks!\nHave one query - Once we landed in Canada and get the PR, do we need to stay there for any fixed period of time? Or can we come back home? If we can come home (mainly if we don’t have a job offer and want to save money while job hunting from home), how long before we must go back to Canada?\n\nAlso, if you can, can you make a video about how to look for jobs in Canada from our home country?

a lot can be said about your narrative. you failed to mention the age of immigration. That alone is THE single most important factor on the out come of the exercise . anyone over 40 should not immigrate. second the education and skill set you bring will be a major factor in the out come. Third there is systemic racism after a certain level which one can feel in very job. i strongly believe one should come to Canada, get top quality education and skill, work with top quality people/organizations which should not be more than 5-6 years, then go back home. the long term price of immigration is huge. This country needs hands to work and pay taxes so that their show should go on. The BANKS are the GOD of the land. one can never obtain financial freedom ever. heavily taxed with very poor social bonding even among the same ethnic groups. yes its good for people who do not make it in Pakistan or bring in ill gotten money\ni know so many ex police DMG and others groups who are absconders from Pakistan and living in Oakvill etc. in addition who says it is safe here or it is a corruption free society, ANY body with a second mortgage has got it with fake documents with the help of brokers, the banks , CRA and every body know about it but being a highly HONEST society no one dare say a word! i will not even go into the thing called debt. it is a night mare for the vaste majority. remember Canada is much bigger than GTA

You are an uneducated person literally. Line comparison main Canada and Pakistan ko compare karay hain jo aik joke hai.\nPakistan ka land area 796,095 sq km hai aur Canada ka 9,984,670 sq km hai. Pakistan ki population 220 million hai Canada ki srif 40 million hai. Yani Karachi jitni Population walay Aik Mulk ko Pakistan sey Compare karay hain What a joke.\n\nCanada ka area Pakistan sey 1,154 guna bara hai. Canada ki natural resources Pakistan sey gai gunah ziyada hai lekin Usko preserve kia howa hai aur Correct usage hai Jubkey Pakistan main Allah kay Nam par Chordiya giya hai sub kuch.\n\nPeople like you should not be comparing Pakistan with Canada, It is an extreme insult to Pakistan.

I’m native from kitimat b.c, 54 years old, still going through everything that’s been air right now. There still a big problem IN CANADA!????Especially when the american people come in to town for work. This pandemic goes way back to when the first? Europions? First land . And still going on????????which will be the first to be cured, covid or prejudice???????

Good video.\nFor people in the comments: immigrating to Canada requires you to have prior post-secondary education. It’s simply a must. But once you are here and apply for jobs, your education will not be recognized by employers (unless you come from the Commonwealth countries.) This includes highly sough-after jobs such as Doctors, Nursing, healthcare, engineering, or finance. So definitely expect to go back to school once you are a landed immigrant.

Ma sha Allah beautiful capturing ,its been 13 years we are living in canada ,initial months were challenging though but Alhamdolillah got settled well now ,i strongly believe in one thing that Pakistanis are no less than any other nation ,they must try their Luck, explore new opportunities and exercise their skill set in the foreign land.

Stop playing the victim card. If you want to stay in Canada respect the laws of the land. If you want Shariah go back to the Muslim countries like Saudi /iran where you can practice your barbaric shariah laws

Canada is Winterfell and the United States is King’s Landing

Canada abides by the 'first country of landing' international law. That means, you can’t shop for a country to take you in. You have to apply for sanctuary in the first safe country of landing. In international relations, Canada doesn’t consider the US a dangerous country. Canada's law REQUIRES that you apply in Canada first or not at all. I’m sorry that Trudeau's self stroking ego trip deceived people into believing they could just walk in and get a job. Getting a job is a whole other difficulty

To me, it looks like Vice is really trying to pull the emotional card to get people to sympathize with this man because he really is in a rough situation. But, he is in a situation of his own making. It sounds like he had not done any prior research about Canada before deciding to claim refugess status. Yes, Trudeau was not giving the full truth when he made those public announcements to the media. Yes, people (educated or not) can be swayed by words of leaders they respect. But, to think you can just enter another country and claim refugee status without understanding what that actually entails is very naive. Canada has very transparent laws that are easily accessable in a multitude of different languages. The provinces also have legal assistance for those who can not afford lawyers. So, the fact that this man was able to spent $15,000 when he is being portrayed as a low income earner makes me question his income, or if he was even aware that he could apply for legal assistance. And since he has a lawyer who has been working his case, I would like to assume that the lawyer would have said something about assistance.\n\nI really want to be sympathetic for this man and his family, because security uncertainty makes life extra hard. But, as I have had to live in more than one country due to the Canadian immigration system refusing my husband due to a very old DUI (which has set our life on a completely different plan than anticipated), I have a very hard time being sympathetic when I feel as though they did not reach out to educated themselves on the laws of another country. I am a Canadian who currently can't live in Canada with my husband of 3 years and I still don't hate my country. I respect the hell out of it (this is not to get into our historic treatment of BIPOC, which deserves it's own seperate time and is a bloody stain on our land's history.)

Canada indeed has systemic racism for sure. It's not same type of country has origin linear ethnicity such as Korea or Japan. It was built on first nation land in better way than USA. If Canada the county needs immigrants to keep the system and economy works, they start sharing major sectors with proper communities that absolutely respect Canada system their daily life rely on. It takes time, but over 100 years of immigrant culture now should take step properly.

When you say Canada, Focus on Toronto, \nI live in BC, Peaceful people over here. Obviously there’s people that is indoctrinated but I don’t see even quarter of what going on in the states,\nbut we definitely need the government and media to stop separating us. We can’t do without each other.\n\nMakes me see more and more that America working itself down to be a fallen land.

Racism was far more prevalent in Canada decades ago. I remember hearing stories from my aunts and uncles about the types of things that would happen when they first arrived in the country. People would heckle and threaten visible minorities. \n\nBut I can say I have personally never experienced systemic racism in Canada. This country gave my family and I opportunity, safety and a just system. I was born and raised in Canada, and this is my home. There is no other country I would want to live in.\n\nLong live Canada and what it stands for. God bless this land.\n\n\nEdit: I forgot to add that the post secondary program I graduated from had a disproportionately high percentage of students belonging to visible minorities. This is the case with similar programs across Canada. One could argue Caucasian students are grossly underrepresented in this program. Does this not fit the definition of systemic racism stated in this video?

I am shocked. Canada portrays itself as the land of amazing feel life

You uprooted your family to move to foreign lands,, to me you spat at your mother country like a coward. Instead of being a good country man and try to better your homeland you flee.. we don’t want you in Canada. You left your culture and extended family for the convenient materialism culture of north-America,, and all this to start at the lowest possible social level. Scrub
