Your observation of Asian migration is mirrored here too. It changes everything about your day to day and long term experiences and life chances. All life hs about creation and sharing of resource. Rules at the work place , different. Their religious rights alters the shared experience but allows for bad prsctice. Walking around talking on your phone all day is dangerous, exclusive, un professional discourteous and isolating. Safety gear ppe all different rules too. We are living in parallel realities. Its all short term and oppositional. Used to be called unworkable ! Thecommunity becomes Asian. Rules at council level alter bemteeen racial cultural preference. Parking on pavements before migration: dangerous, illegal, banned, fines penalties car removal. Where I live (Asian community) cars parked with Asian wardens waving the others by and creating traffic chaos, blocked un passable walk ways and pavements it breaks all the rules we were fined for, but a new norm without question in this community. Its isolating and disorientating but hey, its the new way. I think India has a lot to offer the world . And we have had a lot of it arrive , too much, according to many. This without anyone asking, discussing, debating, informing, admitting to the native populous. Its polite if nothing else, to respect the customs and the hosts of the place u arrive. Reality — these migrants bring their whole culture, family, friend group, political beliefs, problems and traditions with them. Humans and our stuff .\nFor government's to manage this project in such a sneaky and secretive way, adds to the problems.

As someone who moved from the US to middle of nowhere Canada, this tracks. Most of Canada cannot be lived in as a homeless person for 6-8 months out of the year unless you plan on literally freezing to death. It regularly gets down to -60 Celsius in the winter where I live and unless you live in a big city, alot of the smaller cities and towns that dot Canada ain't willing to take in illegal migrants because they have no resources to do so.

What is the root cause of the divide in the living conditions between Indian newcomers and Canadian born people? Indians rarely get into bad habits like alcohol or drug abuse. Indians can work hard to improve their skillset to cater to the demand of the economy. Maybe born Canadians have taken the system for granted and become entitled, and don't want to put in the hard work to adapt to the changing economy or job needs. Maybe all they do is complain. This video tries to show a bipolar picture which may not be 100% true. Just interviewing the homeless but not well off Canadians betrays the agenda of the presenter.

You are free to believe what you want but you cannot have the full idea of what's going on in a place until you live there for a while. And yes, your all the problems that you stated are true. But right now what would be much more appreciative is talking about the solution which nobody is talking. So it's easy to sit there in Australia and say that oh there's this problem in Canada and that problem in Canada. But you are only experiencing it and witnessing it through a screen. You don't know what's going on here and all of the things with the housing crisis. It's true everything is true, but there are still ways that you can get ahead and it's a governmental flaw that all of the people that are experiencing which are not so empowered

At-will employment where the employer can terminate an employee for any reason at any time works in the US where jobs are abundant, salaries are high and living costs are low but it should be a criminal offense in Canada where good jobs are already so difficult to find and living costs are so high. If Canadians think an employer is within his rights to terminate an employee because of frivolous reasons, they should be okay if a God sent the entire Western civilization to eternal hell for frivolous reasons as well.

As a Macedonian/Greek Canadian, whose family moved here from Greece in 1968, I am now preparing to move back to Macedonia or Greece. I am also considering moving to Thailand, Vietnam, or South Korea. I'm 36 years old and I can no longer make a decent wage with my college diploma. So I have gone back to university, and I'm 2 years through my 5 year degree. Once I get my degree I'll decide where I'll live for the rest of my life, but it will not be Canada, that's 100% for sure. I plan on liquidating my condo and house to buy much more land and nicer property, with money left over, rather than just surviving in Canada and living on scraps. This was once a great country for immigrants and native citizens, it's now become some kind of cruel joke. The only thing I'm thankful for is my Canadian education, as Canadian education is highly valued around the world. Other than that, Canada can kiss my Greek ass.

Highest internet fees in the world. Months long waits for health care. Taxes on everything, even on used cars, food necessities and gov't checks. No bus or public transportation system between cities and often only one airline to service your flight in many areas outside huge metro centers. Minimum 18% tipping expectations at restaurants with already high prices for what you get. Violence and drug addiction, homelessness and fraud all prevalent in your daily experience no matter where you live. Then, winter is coming....

I am disappointed with this video. The problems mentioned here are in USA and UK as well. We form opinions based on our experiences. I have no complaints against Healthcare as I was operated in few hours in emergency and never had to wait long for diagnostic tests. Education in Canada is affordable compared to US. Air and Food quality is great. People are extremely friendly. Yes, the housing crisis is there especially post Covid but hoping the market will correct gradually. In my experience, every country has pros n cons and one needs to make a choice between their home country and Canada comparing both based on one's priorities and preferences.Canada changed our lives in so many good ways and my whole family appreciates it. Canada is ovetall a nice country. And it's not easy to get PR. If you get , it's luck n hardships to settle in any new country.

I bealive new immigrants needs to adopt Canadian Values and way of living. They see Canadá as we are so nice and stupid, taking advantage of public services. When you immigrate to a country you are curios and open to learn a new culture you are leaving your country because there is things that you don’t like and you see your self with the same values of other culture. Once you are in Canada you are evolving and adapting to new ideas, and methods of living, most important you are here to contribute to society and the economy by taking care of your self by working hard upgrading your skills, help others follow the rules. Not the opposite you don’t move to be taken care off by taking advantage of government programs, if you honestly and truly need the government help the program is there for you if not you have a moral responsibility to contribute to this country/ planet.
