Us hypocrites in the USA want to close the borders to people but it’s OK for your tractor/trailers to bring our high profit goods back to the USA. As long as our greedy, corrupt politicians, investors and corporate suits are making big profits. Hypocrisy, abuse, oppression and racism at its finest since 1607.

It's refreshing seeing Canadians' opinion on a national issue in the comment section. Just acknowledging that they face a problem and how it should be tackled, no aggressive xenophobia, no racism. Imagine what the comments would look like if this is a US problem. Maybe that's why people go there lol. I would love to be around people like this if I were an immigrant.

Shocking to watch this video. 20 years my family and I had an enjoyable stay in Vancouver especially the Rocky mountain trip. Beautiful scenery and I was thinking of migrating to Canada, Vancouver. \n\nRecently I heard horrible stories of racism and anti Chinese. Canada economy now is bad and no safety staying there. High taxes, rising crime rates and not much opportunities for work or business in Vancouver. Within 20 yrs Vancouver was once a beautiful, safe place became a rundown crime infested place.

Most(90%) of this is bull shit! If you talk racism in Canada tell us about better countries.....racism will always exist.....You must be living in Utopia!

Canada is expensive because of the high levels of corruption everywhere: Government and Public Works are a joke. For instance, to change a street light post they use two trucks with telescopic baskets; almost in all public works, there is a huge number of heavy equipment most of the time unused, or just mimicking work, and add to that that institutions don't work as you would expect (Health, Police, Media)... For those who came from developing countries, most likely there is more efficiency and modernity in those countries. The other big negatives are the lack of a national culture, inexisting trasport from big cities to small ones, and also too little social life in big urban places. Normal people would survive all of that and stay, but the wokeism, push of the transgender agenda, cancel culture and the stupid racist anti-racism inclusive trends, are unbearable for the average, normal person witch children. But not all is bad, Canadian landscape is beautiful...

I grew up in New York. Multiculturalism will never work. The people who promote and praise diversity are selling koolaide and propaganda. Remember the unspoken truth people, people of color are predjudiced too. And today they are more so, even claiming to fix racism you have to be racist?‍♂️

Canada is a country that is built on middle class where a large part of the population are within the same earning range. There are positives to this, less crime, there is not a huge disparity between rich and poor which makes for a more sane environment don’t get me wrong, we still have our crime rate. Now you can see that the professional programs are limited compared to other countries in the universities and highly competitive so that you don’t have so many professionals with high earning power thereby creating a huge disparity. On the other hand, these high earners don’t get a tax return, get any govt cheque, their kids don’t get huge amounts for OSAP instead, they get billed to pay back the govt and that’s how those of you complaining now where able to get govt cheques when you just relocated, support low income homes and newly landed immigrants. There’s free health, good Ammenities, snow is cleared, the roads are salted and de iced, free Education, govt loans and school loans that’s where your tax money goes to. Everyone has an accent that’s your identity why will you feel somehow or intimidated when you are told you have an accent that’s being timid say yes I have an accent it’s African or Caribbean etc. About racism it’s rare never experienced it that’s not saying it doesn’t happen but am gonna call you out if it’s obvious I have been profiled. Yes the weather is harsh did you not look at your map before relocating ?? In all most of these complaints are individual experiences so I won’t invalidate it but don’t trash what you gained from. Retraining and certification is a must especially when you are coming from a certain country and it’s not a bad idea. Am in healthcare and retraining is a must if you didn’t school here cos it’s entirely different talk about work ethics, equipments, software, differentiation in policies, health laws and malpractice laws.\nLook at the brighter side of life and stop complaining migration has its pros and cons position yourself in a place to have a good life, go back to school, get certified, keep retraining and adding value to your certificate.

I will be honest canada or the US for that matter is certainly not an Islamic environment mostly especially cause there’s a lot of racism and ignorance! But of course that’s not everybody!

I was born in Canada. I am now in Thailand. I worked 35 years for a large transportation organization. I am retired and loving living abroad. It is cold in Canada 6 months of the year. Climate change is creating massive forest wildfires every summer now creating horrid air quality issues especially in the west, which is the mist beautiful part of the country in my opinion. I traveled back for a couple of weeks in October 2023 and was in shock over the cost of everything especially considering the recent inflation problem affecting the entire world. I couldn't wait to het back to my life in Thailand. Here there is no racism that I can see. All races and religions are accepted here. I hardly ever wear pants, shorts and short sleeve shirts. I can golf 12 months a year and live very comfortably on my pension. I could not have the same quality of life in my home country and the medical industry makes care here very affordable and accessible. In B.C. I found it extremely difficult to find s family doctor after moving there even to get a comprehensive medical checkup. I love my country of origin but will never return as long as I have the choice. Canada is over taxed, over regulated and very expensive now. These are the facts that created my choice to emigrate.

As an Indigenous person in Canada I agree with you 100%. Living here my whole life I am more then aware of the racism and colonial government policies. You guys can consider Dubai as one of your options. It is so safe here. Awesome education for kids with islamic and Arabic subjects along with all the other modern curriculum. We Love dubai. Never had any problem in having halal food, zero security related issues, zero racism. Well balanced work and life, moderate inflation but you never really can feel it. In short, its an ideal place to live and raise your kids here. Alhamdulillah. We also decided long time back to move to Canada or New Zealand but the brought up of our kids was the biggest reason that we never did it. We are so greatful to Allah for making the right decision of staying in Dubai.

Before moving please make sure what you would be doing in a new country for living? Will you be able to manage until you pickup your earnings. You have kids!! will you be able to pay for their educations, house rents, medicine if necessary etc. so on and so forth..\n\nBut one thing i wanted to check many Indians are moving to Canada for a better life, i''m little surprised to see you moving out of Canada, why don't you guys try jobs in IT companies? Number 7 is no joke. Racism in Canada is very disturbing. Not only is there a strong invisible wall between the caucasians and non-caucasians, there is animosity amongst immigrants such as Indians vs Chinese and others and there is no eye contact amongst people living there.

If you are sick and mediocre, Canada is a great place. Canada has no rights and the political system is solely controlled by the Americans and British. Today, it is 180$ for the same 2 bags. this is NOT a 10% increase... but almost the double in price!\n\nRent, in Quebec province, have gone from around 1,000$ to 2,400$ in less than 5 years, and each time a tennant leave his place, the landlord rise (against the law but nobody can do anything) the rent often by 25 to 40%!!! The Demand is so high, that he can refuse you for any reason (including racism, children, pet, smokers) he can think of. Again, this is against the common law but in truth, there is nothing anybody can do, unless you can bring him to court, which takes lots of money...\n\nSo in reality, from the last 5 years, almost everything has double in price and salaries have barely start to rise (mostly due to unions who revolted) but if you are not part of one, your salary basically stayed the same.\n\nA very good advice, don't come to Canada. I always thought Canada was the best when it came to nice people but I was wrong. \nAs for country options, definitely check out China, it is such a beautiful and peaceful country. You will deal with little to no racism there. \nCountries to avoid: America ?

We do have a bunch of muslim communities in Australia (the one's I've seen are in Sydney region) and I have heard the call to prayer, but it isn't a widespread thing. We also have schools which have predominantly hijab-wearing students (I think it was a girl's school in Sydney). But racism is unfortunately something that is common here. I wish it wasn't, because everyone deserves the right to respect and living in peace, its the most basic human right. Also as someone who socialises a lot with the lgbt and drag community I so respect your right to parent your kids as you choose. I have things I would teach my kids, and so do you. Hoping you all find the most comfy and safe home in the future.

Why should other countries be responsible for citizens who voted for Hamas. There was celebrations around the world by Palestinians, for the disgraceful attacks on the Jewish population in Israel. They want sympathy and understanding from the world, but I shall never forget their chants and behaviours, even before Israel retaliated. I am a Puerto Rican Muslimah who has lived in 3 majority Arab & Muslim countries. I didn’t find a home there because there was a lot of racism toward my family. I am growing weary of the USA as well. Not sure where I can go.

Lot of Chinese and Indian origin and some Pakistanis. No racism, no hate, many tourists from all over, plenty of halal food restaurants. for business I recommend Restaurant/fast food average middle class.\n2nd option is Turkey ?? beautiful Muslim country friendly nation also with business opportunities, mix culture of Muslims/ Non-Muslims but surrounded with volatile borders, lot of tourism. \nAvoid Gulf States because of the present situation.
