All one has to do is read publications such as The Economist to see the evidence . During my career - I an recently retired - I was located in a few other countries and Canada still remains a great country with opportunties . I also know that most who claim they will never come back almost always do because there comes the point where they are older and have health issues and in most cases they come back to Canada. At the same time, we are charged excessive fees for internet and cell phone useage. I note that both major political parties ( the Liberals and the CPC) ever take any real action to address the excessiv charges rendered by Shaw, Rogers, Bell Media, and similar conglomerates .

Uk will have a civil war soon, or it will have to become an islamic country because the way muslim population is increasing in UK. it should open their eyes by now. That's why hindus and labelled as Islamophobic because we've read our history of mughal invasions and we keep them in check.

I have any friends who are from other countries were trying to get their family members here legally through the legal process and it takes them literally 10 to 20 years and to allow people to just walk across the border and hand them work permits, hotel rooms and checks to support them is a disgrace.. these people for the most part do not speak, read or write English, whereas my friends families, for the most part do speak ,reading write English and a good part of them have college degrees who could contribute quite a bit of this country, but are not allowed to come here immediately.. these people should be allowed to come here immediately as it being sponsored have a place to stay and contribute…

I’ve watched the video and I’ve read many comments. My message it’s to immigrants, Canadians & everyone. Just be some patient to read for you to think reasonable after this. I’m sure you’ll start to be reasonable regarding Canada. I had a good life good job & a nice home in Ukraine. Due to the barbarian russian invasion my family & I fled the horrific situation in Kharkiv city. I was driving a mini bus of 4 families! Most are children. We’ve arrived to Europe. Crossing many countries (Poland, Czechia & Austria) we’ve arrived to the country leading the EU. In Poland & Czechia, we’re treat very good by the people. In Austria we got hardly a payed hotel where children could get a rest!!! We still didn’t understand why they don’t want to give us rooms despite we’re paying for our staying!!! In Germany, I believe that the government did its best. But the number of comers is huge! Of course many they got disappointed as happened with me! But I still understand and believe that really the government & people did theirs best. So fast I got a job! The social connection helped to introduce me to the company! But i was not hired, I still to express myself & my qualifications. The manager was understanding, so he accepted to communicate in English and to offer me the job in case if I am successful doing the job during the first week at the site. I had to change the machines menu into English. So the manager was very satisfied with my job and I got that job. The rent! You’ll get it only if you receive the blessing of each member of the county and a very strong social connections! The doctors! To make just a blood work for my son it took 45 days of waiting! To get the doctor appointment, you need that a German guy call and get you the appointment! Because when my wife called, the secretary said: we don’t speak English! But when my wife went for her visit she figured out they’re speaking English better than her!!! My son has an issue of hyperactivity, so they refused to accept him at school more than 3 hours a day! And he was excluded from the birthday parties of his colleagues aswell other events! Other Ukrainian children, they were just attending classes! Just a show! No body cares how help their integration! About, the taxes! The half of my income was going to the government! The money back?! Only 200 euros/ month for my kid. And nothing else. Nothing! To get a neurologist appointment for my son it was necessary to wait 3 months! Prices?! Everything expensive! Technology?! Not better than Canada at all. Bureaucracy, Canada is much less. Banking system, Canada much better. Where in Germany?! The best province in Germany “Munich”. Where people stoped long ago dreaming to purchase a home. Guys, Canada doesn’t through broken people as we were in camps! Where nothing is human there! Canada doesn’t enter you in cercle of hell bureaucracy just to get your kid into school! And if he needs a support he get it right away without any background that he’s not our!!! I got a good job in Canada; so fast. Without any social connections because simply I do not have any. Person living in South Korea here ??‍♀️and contemplating between moving to either USA or Canada! So this was interesting! I tested the waters and traveled to the USA last year! They both made good points, food isn’t that great but the people are so sweet and inviting. I was scared because of what I usually see on the news but I didn’t experience any of the horrible things I read, but then again I was very cautious.

But to point out that because the leadership of mayor companies are mainly 'White', it's not prove of systemic racism, you didn't say anything for example of median age of the different populations, that is an important factor in economic advancement of a population and helps to explain why some groups may be more prevalent in higher paid jobs than others. For example, according to Statistics Canada and the latest census you can see that the black population is around 2% of the total population of the Country, but more over a huge chuck of that population is not only young, but recent immigrants from the last 30 years or so. Most, if not all, immigrants have gone through rigorous English proficiency tests from reading, writing, speaking. Likewise most of the immigrants have high educational backgrounds, so they’re definitely proficient in English. They may not have the native speaker accent (just like yourselves) but I highly doubt they could be regarded as not being proficient in the English language. What’s the big deal about the English language by the way? among all of the languages, it’s the easiest to master. So I highly doubt that’s one of the real reasons. It’s more on the stupid “not having Canadian experience” thing. Which is really doesn’t make much sense. How would you expect most immigrants to have Canadian work experience? This backwards thinking is among the reason why Canada is lagging compared to other global countries. Only Canada has this rule. That way, it’s limiting its chances of getting the best talents from every part of the world. Because of this rule, highly skilled immigrants are forced to work jobs that doesn’t require technical skills just to pay the bills, until they got fed up for not being able to get jobs according to their high skills and eventually leave Canada for the US.

I want to move from us to Canada, mean reason the immigration is broken in usa for Indian and I don’t want my Indian born kid to face same uncertainty . I have read so much about visa and also some people has offered me to open a visa office , plus i am sure that i get so much money by doing theses, but i refused that offer and choose the path of honesty, it was very hard for me to reject the offer of healthy business like that but the instinct i have inherited from my dad to remain an honest does not let me do such things and i am proud of inheriting such thing.

I just read an article 5 minutes ago on CTV about a refuge that stabbed herself in the stomach. She said why is the Canadian government bringing us here if there are no places to stay. Wow reading many of the comments makes me think 'yikes'. Too many people see immigrants as creating a bigger problem (and cannot see how they are the solution). I'm reading the exact argument that was made all through out Canada's history, yet it is the immigrants that brought in fresh ideas and foreign investment.
