I am a white Canadian have family and friends in the USA and I tried to move to the usa back in the early 2000's because I had a job could not do it because I was not allowed but it seems if you are other then white it is so much easier and everyone said I should go now because Trudeau is a dictator and that I am a law abiding Conservative that wants to leave Canada because our PM is nothing but a POS Liberal that is robbing the hard working real Canadians and cutting us off of having a good job because of DEI. As a Canadian, I care more about who is getting into Canada than who is getting into the US. I want to know from my government how are these people getting into Canada in the first place?? If they are coming across the border in a vehicle Canada will not be able to stop them, they will stop at the US customs for screening bypassing Canadian border security. Canada has to do better stopping them from entering Canada to begin with. Stop the flow into Canada and it will stop leaking into the US.

What a crock of crap! The USA has the problem of weak borders, so they need to step up their border patrol. Canada is securing their borders because of the frequent and much more abundant cases of drugs and guns being smuggled into Canada! The stepped up Canadian border enforcement was already well underway months before Trump made his tariff threats. \nThink about it, the 43lbs of fentanyl that was smuggled in from Canada, at the US border, is a drop in the bucket in comparison to the flow of it that comes in through the ports. Also think about when you cross a border, it’s the country you are crossing into that checks you out. Classic case of Trump blaming others for US failure.

My wife and I took a bus trip to see the Rockies some years ago. We crossed the US/Canadian border several times. Each time, border security did a passport check on everyone (both sides of the border) and a random luggage search. My wife and I, in our 50s, were the youngest on the bus. Under Biden, tens of thousands of young, military age men waltzed across the border into the US and given all sorts of generous gifts.

Please....Canadian borders account for less than 1% of the total people trying to get into the US. Over 99% come across the southern border. This is official accounting. Fox News is not a good source for this information. You make it sound like Canada had nothing in place until Trump came along and thousands of people are coming through Canada.

Please stay away from Canada I moved here and I regret it every day. I'm a citizen through my parents and getting my certificate took YEARS which stopped me from being able to go to school or work which means years of my adult life wasted that could have been put to much better use for something that wasn't even my fault. I also lost good opportunities too because of it!!!! Not happy especially since I genuinely needed the money. I won't forgive Canada for that. Also everything here is really expensive and the selection is just not very good. Also work opportunities are not as good as in the US. Anyways I finally got my certificate and got my life started up again just over 2 years ago, but I still often think of returning to the US after just being here for 4.5 years. I now warn some of my US friends not to go to Canada just for the hype if they mention it. I also know of a friend who moved here and left after 1 year, they came to hate it here.
