My name is Jamie, every time you go for a job at gas station they never hire no body else but Indians. I was born in this country and have never had this problem back in the 90s. Every time I go two a job agency that our owned buy indians people they always say we will call you if a job will come up and that happens two me every time I am so feed up of this bull shit my friend. I have been out of work for 5 years and still can't find a job because the imagrants our taking our jobs from the white populations. Every where you go like subway Tim Hortons Wallmart and many other stores our getting jobs over the white population. When is this madness going two stop? I am getting pissed off all the time. I would love two see Doug Ford stop stop stop this kind of discirmatation. Can you tell mw when a job agency is going two hire white people like myself? You guys should go back to you Country and be happy over their. I am getting tired when you go two a car wash owned buy Indians they always wont give me a job god dame it. I have been a victim of racism from people coming from rural Indian areas, some Canadians I met were 10 times better than the Indians I met here and every time I got ripped off was from a person from south asian country, not all but some are so so bad! Specially Punjabi females they are very aggressive judgmental and rude.

As a white Brazilian, I would say my experience was quite good (I've returned home less than 1 month ago). \n\nApart of some obvious jokes about the 7-1, I've never faced anyone who made me feel unwelcome or undesired, quite the opposite in many situations. Being of German descent certainly made things better. Other white Brazilians I've met told me they had similar experiences.\n\nUnfortunately, immigrants from other Global South countries and non-white Brazilians probably have very different experiences, for the worse. I've heard many unpleasant comments from my German friends and colleagues regarding turks, Arabs, africans and other immigrants from the South of the world. It's certainly a problem for many skilled workers who are not white and could contribute for the country, but they can't thanks to racism.\n\nIn my view, apart of racism, another great problem in Germany when it comes to foreign skilled workers is the lack of digitalization in the country and the bad Internet. Many jobs require good internet connection and digitalization, which are not always provided by the Germans , unlike virtually all the other European countries including much poorer ones. \n\nHaving said that, Germany has many good-hearted, kind and welcoming people (except the racists, of course), and a fantastic culture.

yes canada is not racist and no one can make such generalization. however it is clear by many comments that racism clearly exists. international students are not just from india. they are from many countries. many come from nigeria also but rebel news or harrison and others would not say one word against anyone who is black. if all these people were from uk or europe then would this even be an issue to anyone? be honest. i am not taking sides. i been in canada for 40 years and my loyalty is to canada and for sure i would say there was lot of racism when i came in 1988. from grade 6 to 9 life was terrible here. things changed over time and my kids have not experienced racism for most of there life here but now i am seeing the bullies type that i faced are returning more and more especially online. rebel news and harrison (forgot his last name) are motivating such people. i had 2 racism incident in last few months. majority of indians are not trouble makers and are amongst the richest community in all of canada with the lowest crimes. many indian doctors, nurses, IT sector, engineers etc... now where does the problem lie. it is with poor immigration policies which lowered its standards. the requirements has to be raised higher and highly educated bunch is who we should bring in. many people from punjab india are involved in crimes and drugs and these are the people involved in the separatist movement and jagmeet and justin brought them in for votes. they need to go and so do those who are not loyal to canada. those of you who are racist i can give you a history lesson of the kkk or the crusaders but i know too many good people who i rather not group with you. in fact there is no need to go that route. you can never get rid of all blacks or indians out of canada. we have a history and we have every right to feel canadian as we obey and contribute to the economy and abide the law so f-off.

So there's been an increase on Indian vs Indian crime. The reason being, that the Indian people who came here in the 1900s are established and for so long, hoodlums/Indian government couldn't access them and their wealth or opinions about India. As an Indian myself I feel ashamed of these folks. The govt should be doing what US does in these cases, stop empathizing for them, they will leech you out. Don’t reason, just enforce. Coming to a country as an international student is often a route or excuse some people use to enter countries and then later decide they don't want to return to their country of origin. They than start whining about the new country is their home and they don't their country of orgin or they pay taxes and they should get to stay in the new country. This has nothing to do with requirements for acceptance to emigrate to a new country.

The politicians from Canada and India don't care if everyone lives in poverty. And getting Canadian citizenship will not solve all your families' problems. Once Canada goes broke there will be no welfare, EI, pensions, free housing, or healthcare so you're better off staying in India where at least you know the language, laws, religion and culture. If you're an international student and you can't afford to rent for example in Vancouver and Toronto than don't come here. It's no secret some international students turn to prostitution, sell drugs and go to food banks in order to survive. Don't come to Canada assuming study permits automatically means you will get Canadian citizenship.

The bottom line is you cannot have Mass immigration of people into a country where the values are completely different there's going to be problems problems with language problems with housing problems with crime for government to have allowed so many Indians to come in at one time in such a short period of time is not good for that country it should have been done over a longer stretch because otherwise it will lead to huge consequences and problems that's the truth you cannot force a country to accept you just because you want to go there people want to preserve their culture and their way of life in their country they have that right you cannot force yourself on another culture our country just because you want to a lot of Indian students were recently busted for fraud by their sponsorship agents that was all over the news even though the government has allowed them to stay it still leaves a black mark on the Indians that they are corrupt and scammers be careful on how you act in the new country otherwise the dog is going to bite your asses understand.

I was born and raised in New York City. But since it became sanctuary city, I don't call it home no more. And I don't have any plans if ever going back there to live. New York City is Gotham city now. Taken over by people who enter our country illegal. Firstly your country has a very stupid policy on international students. All most all of them come there for economic reasons. They enroll in stupid courses which in any case will not contribute to your country. Why can’t you have a system where their attendance in classrooms is kept a track of and any one having less than say 75% is warned and after three warnings sent home. Once they successfully complete their course, they are given six months to stay and then sent back. Keep only the ones who can be of asset to Canada. Else your country will soon become another country like the UK is now.

I am an immigrant from England. It took us five years to get immigration. We had to prove we had money in the bank would bring jobs to the economy go for medical physicals we were watched we were followed. These people are not the same as me. I have always made friends since childhood with people from other countries or background. I just have seen so much changes with small local businesses having a complete change over and I wonder where all the staff that worked their for so long are all gone, and it's now all Indians. I truly do respect and made good friends, it's just so many Indians compared to anyone coming from other countries as well, and there should have been a limit as Canada just doesn't have enough housing, as the population was always low. I’ve thought about going to another country to study medicine but I have no intentions of staying there for a better life. I am an Indian, but I don’t agree with these protests. You are a student. Get your education and then make your career. You can’t expect a foreign country to be obliged to give you a job as well. There are a lot of opportunities in India. So, why not come back and work in India? If you are good, an Indian MNC will send you Canada or any other foreign country at its own expense. The education loans are for education. I appreciate that there will be implicit expectation that getting a job in Canada will help pay that loan back quicker, but as a student you can’t demand that. You got to respect the law of the country.
