Many of us Canadians who are born and raised here have been living here for generations. Our grandparents and great parents immigrated here and helped build this country. Many of us are hard working people and have no problems with immigrants that move here to WORK, go to school get an education become a productive member of society, make a good life for themselves. The immigrants that come here expecting a hand out, expect Canadian laws and Canadians to occomidate them. To expect our laws to change to accommodate them, well that won't happen here. Many of us are hard working blue collar people especially in the Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Northern Ontario. Most of us won't put up with bullshit. This isn't being is racist or predjiced it's called show some respect.

Simple answer for mass immigration: future votes for liberals. They don't care about Canadians or the quality of life. The crime is through the roof, it has become a third world country.

Actually it is really simple, the main reason that educational institutes (businesses in reality) and the country have been bringing in international students (whether India or elsewhere) is that *the international students pay 4-5x more in tuition* and so *educational institutes and the country wants to bring them in as cash cows, to milk them for the money!* *They have been using them as cash cows and milking them* There are so many institutes where there is such an imbalance, where 80-90% are international students and the local minority, the reason again is, $$. \n From international students and imgs there is a boost in the economy because of the high tuition they pay and the tax that is collected from that tuition, they spend on rent (crazy expensive as you know) transport, basic cost of living like food etc, entertainment etc, so the economy did benefit from immigrants and international students, but I completely agree that there is way too much influx. It is not good for them nor for the country, as everything has become so expensive, rent and housing affordability is gone crazy, due to crazy demand and low supply. \n So the problem is greed! I totally agree with True North's the Timz example, and the other places mentioned, and I really think that the government should work on affordability, the housing crisis, health care, sustainability, and fair and equal employment.

So brutal. I have a 15 year old looking for her first job and all her friends ate too. Guess what.....all those jobs we used to get as we entered the workforce are gone. Every single DQ A&W grocery store McDs etc jobs go to foreigners. So where will all the high school kids work? They are becoming despondent and depressed. It's really sad. For the kids born here and the kids that got told bs there would be plenty of jobs. It's just wrong!!!? I'm highly concerned for the kids. Canada is sliding into a toilet. It also appears that you are at the back of the list if you are born here and God forbid too white. So what is the deal with all these Walmart's etc hiring only foreign people ? It's not to give the kids of Canada a start and a chance. It must have some reason that is going to destroy the country because when a local high school student has to compete with ,300 foreigners for a low paid job this is not going anywhere good. It is extremely distressing. Just resign and incorporate Canada into India or somewhere because it's not Canada anymore.

I am curious to know how many people under 30, who are from Canada, still see their future here? or are planning to move to another country. I am in my 40s, and watch every day as justin gives away everything I have worked for in my life. I will be selling my home soon, most probably to an immigrant family, because the cost of existing here has become way too high. FYI.... as a CANADIAN I dont have another country I call home and can go back to once Canada is completely fucked.

I think racism is on the rise in Canada, because communites are seeing masses of Indians overtaking their community and erasing canadian culture and replacing it with their own. India is a third world country, I don't think nice canadian communities are receptive to tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of Indians then coming into that community and speaking their own language, playing their own music, following their own relegion, celebrating their own holidays, dressing like they do back home, playing cricket and soccer etc... and that becoming common place rather than tradidional canadian culture. Canada has become an exclusive club for people who want to own a home or own real estate. Supply side issues but open immigration has made it a real estate haven for investors from all over the world. Black money or not, you can easily bring drug or money laundering, or other dishonest (a.k.a haram) money into Canada, and law enforcement is asleep at the wheel. It has been obvious for a while now that immigration of any kind is no longer beneficial to Canada or in many cases for the immigrant. Housing is out of control expensive and the health care system has deteriorated to alarming levels as there are not enough doctors or nurses or beds to handle the preseent population. Now the prices for food, fuel and most other things have become increasingly expensive and with inflation and interest rates being a concern the issues are pressing from every direction. To be blunt, we do not need any more people entering the country for a few years until more housing can be built, more hospitals can be built, more doctors and nurses hired and inflation and interest rates brought under control. There is evidence that the economy is going to join the party as far as things to worry about and available jobs could lessen, not a good thing.

Canada, where we are told to go green, while they tear down millions of trees. Where we pay taxes on used items that other people paid taxes on already, In BC, where we pay the highest booze prices, where the working man struggles, while Counceller's and politicians buy $200 wine, on our money. Where heritage houses are torn down, where we are becoming a minority, where land and older homes are disappearing for million-dollar homes with a small patch of grass. Surrey B.C. has become little India. Wildlife murdered through development; no wildlife assessments being done anymore. B.C. the province of monopoly, high car insurance. Where government attacks on the homeless instead of helping. I see more and more homeless and drug usage. More litter in the streets. Canada the socialist country. Canada with laws that protects immorality. Say one bad thing go to jail. Canadian government, they freeze peoples bank accounts. Canada has political prisoners, Tamara Lich (Trucker Convoy). Canada where they sell horses to be slaughtered in other countries, Canada, where dog meat is legal. Canada soon to be another China. Canada one of the most expensive places to live in the world!

Our country can't continue to sustain this problem anymore. I'm sorry that other countries are dealing with corruption, desperation and injustice but if we keep allowing people to break the law by entering illegally and attack citizens without consequences then our country will become just as corrupt and disorderly as there's. We should have laws and policies that are supposed to prevent this kind of thing. I understand many of them are willing to work to support themselves but that's not possible if they are not legal citizens. So my question is why do illegal immigrants feel that tax paying Americans should support them.

Right now is probably the worst time to come here. With global recession and post-pandemic hardship, everyone is feeling the pinch. Small businesses are closing down as they could not repay back the relief loans given by the government during the pandemic. Trudeau’s policy of immigration through the educational stream and admitting so many refugees from Syria and Ukraine have caused massive rent increase - too many people chasing after lower real estate supply. Because people are feeling the pinch, crimes are up and homelessness has become a serious issue. But, here are the (long-term) advantages of living here, vs. The Philippines:\n- free healthcare - no matter how rich you are back home, wealth can be depleted if a major illness strikes;\n- free education for your kids up to highschool and opportunity for your kids to enter worldclass universities after highschool;\n- government programs that actually work - Worker rights are upheld, doleouts when you lose your job, 12-month mat/paternity leave, doleout/govt match when you save for yr kid’s university educ, tax rebates for whatever you save for retirement, retirement income even if you never held a job, infrastructures are maintained, transparency and stability of political system; \n- safer environment - yes, greater crimes lately, but still one of the safest places to live. I live in greater Toronto, and sometimes we forget to lock our door at night or leave a bicycle outside and nothing happens;\n- commitment to the environment - the country adheres to protecting the envt. You can drink water from the faucet. Strict laws on recycling and waste disposal. Greenbelt protection on forest and conservation park areas, even in the cities. Canada also has the world’s biggest water supply...in today’s global climate change, were decades away from water wars;\n- a beautiful country with friendly, humble and relaxed people who observe work-life balance

Too many immigrants and refugees are let into Canada and they expect a golden hand without realizing that Canada is a very large cold country for 6 months of the year, therefore everyone wants to live and work close too USA boarder which become so populated that the infrastructure can't keep up with the demands of the new immigrants and refugees.

The dereliction of duty and greed by Western leaders is everywhere not just in Canada. In Canada you can make $300,000 in a couple of months. Numbers reported are true and its going to increase in 2024. I live in the capital and I see dozens of distress home sales due to increased mortgages. People face high taxation, heavily overburdened healthcare system, unaffordable rentals, loss of jobs, grocery prices over the roof, rapidly increasing crime rate and robberies, uncertainty about the good days again. Canada used to be a good place to settle, but now there are dozens of other countries that are welcoming with an affordable peaceful life. For Indians, there is absolutely no reason to hunt for a job or better life here as it involves start from the scratch for everything. India is rushing to become the fastest growing economy in the world with millions of opportunities and a solid political leadership, a history in the making.

Canada, Australia, New Zealand, USA, and the UK have simply become nightmare for immigrants who are lured by the commission agents for a better future. The government of the five countries pretty much allows the immigration scams to flourish because more people simply mean more money and cheap labor. Basically, it's an indirect slavery into a trapped system that completely destroys your ability to get out of it. These five countries do not have an organic ecosystem to grow in a self sustainable way. These are largely consumer societies depending on the import of goods and food. The import of people generates more tax to keep these countries going. In a nutshell, extreme dirty capitalism will destroy these countries soon.

Saddly, hate crimes are everywhere: christians are hated in some muslim countries - the so-called aposthasy can destroy the lives of many people - and they have to practise their religion in secrecy... and in western countries you will be hated if you're a muslim citizen. Honestly, Humanity - for the last 25 years - has become so obnoxious and so mad that, quite frankly, it will be better for us to stay away from each other.
