It is the oddest and dumbest thing to protest in a country you're not even a citizen of. If you are this unhappy that you are protesting, you are supposed to pack your bags and leave. It’s not a matter of ethnicity, but Canada needs to import talented and educated folks in medicine, engineering, trades etc. None of these individuals are interested in studying and are either attending 3rd grade colleges/universities to get a work permit and hoped to stay on. \n\n2) Shoddy sales tactics include lying or ‘avoiding stating the obvious’ that could make you lose the deal. This is exactly what the Canadian government did with these people. The Canadian dream was sold somewhat properly before 2017/2018 I would say. Post Covid there was a MASSIVE need of manpower in minimum wage jobs. The government could not afford increasing minimum wage at the time and international students would do exactly those jobs and bring in millions of dollars in tuition fees. The government opened the gates for these strip-mall colleges to take unprecedented numbers of students with allowances to work. These students were sold the exact same dream that a top quality University/college student is sold about Canada. They needed to be used at the time. And if they would’ve been told that their quality of students are only needed temporarily, they wouldn’t have come. The labour shortage at the time wouldn’t have been solved. So a CATCH 22 of the highest order. \n\n3) Canada CANNOT give in to such protests as it will set the worst example of migrant pandering for future generations. The best talent will refrain from entering Canada and more and more of these types of immigrants who do not want to assimilate to the Canadian culture will want to keep on coming.

How do they have time to protest? Shouldn't they be studying or working? I wish I had time to protest about all the things that are not right, but I have to work to pay my bills. I'm Canadian born I've lived here for 44 years and I have not had time to protest not one day of my life. The nerve of these people coming to Canada and thinking they have more rights than Canadian Citizens. Go back to your Country and protest there. Find the Indian people that told you these lies in India and hold them accountable.

I started to work at the next day I arrived to Canada.Despite my University degrees I did the job as janitor,shirt order cook,waitress,etc. till I found and learn a new profession in exciting photography business. I stopped working when I lost my eyes vision. Why the people who came from Middle East are mostly preferred being on Government benefits? They don’t wish to assimilate and accept our values!They covered their faces by hijabs and used all privileges as housings (all new affordable apartments and townhouses belong to them),free medical services and benefits -given to Muslim immigrants. Why it’s happened? I’m not a racist,and not against Muslims religious but I’m against that such a welcomed generosity of our Government.

And then we have these people that if you got to know their culture and people, are not the monsters we have let in and given citizenship too. BUT the bottom line is we don't have the housing. So there's been an increase on Indian vs Indian crime. The reason being, that the Indian people who came here in the 1900s are established and for so long, hoodlums/Indian government couldn't access them and their wealth or opinions about India.
