I'm a Canadian born senior, and the MASSIVE flooding of Canada with immigrants (mostly from India) is DESTROYING this country. As a senior I have been priced out of the rental market due to intense competition for housing with these newcomers. It has driven up inflation where many folks can't afford groceries. Do NOT come to Canada. We need to stop all immigration for several years until our infrastructure has caught up. Then resume at reasonable levels.

A few people we know are thinking about stopping donating monthly to food banks because of the scam that some people are pulling using food banks when they are financially secure and don't need to. They just caught one foreign student who was employed for $90+ per year. He had a youtube video showing people how he eats for free using food banks.

I hope nobody treats me this badly when I screw up in a new job. A very sad event took place, but this is just a vindictive response. Stats canada needs to objectively analyze and if rules permit share evidence of “brown truck drivers from india only” VS others being reckless or occasionally reckless leading to consequences. \n\nSubjectively speaking it sounds about right & freaking scary how they drive on 401 Montreal to Toronto. \n\nUnfortunately in many parts of the subcontinent this is how they drive. Deporting this man is not going to address the problem. While not sounding politically correct, many many of these new Canadians who are driving trucks either don’t know the driving rules here, or don’t care. Just drive on highway 1 and watch. They need better training or we need more police on the roads to stop the poor drivers. I can’t count how many times I’ve been following a truck with two 53’ trailers and it’s all over the road and if you’re brave enough to pass you can see the drivers on the phone more than looking ahead.

It seems appropriate to me that he returns to India. His wife and son can also return to India. They do have good hospitals there, not sure why that is a humanitarian need here. I think it would help them all build a life away from this chapter of their lives. Show a bit of grace, people, he pled guilty and was distressed about his role in the deaths. Many of these students were sold a bill of goods by various people who promised more than they should have. As our PM has stated students coming over has not been the issue, but having temporary workers come over has been. What had been traditionally 2% has been 7% plus. This is what needs to be reduced, but in most of these cases no one wants to do the jobs they have, such as fruit picking. I find some of the comments here as being offensive, don't need more Tim Horton workers. A number of these individuals are here for PR first and schooling second, this needs to tighten up. Your rant is counterproductive, and just puts out more hate, when we need to stop the hate.

Soon every city in Ontario will be brown town… why is it that we never really had all these scams going on till the last few years?only people I see get caught are brown with multiple fake ids. Non stop scam calls, texts , emails mainly preying on our elderly people and what do they get a theft under 5000 charge and that’s nothing. You have people renting rental to turn around and not live in it just rerent them to brown people and stick 4 in each room for 500 a person.. what to pay for the house they live in or send it all back home. I am from India living in India now. Never lived or worked in Canada, but visited Canada multiple times as a tourist.\n\nThis situation is kinda tricky for everyone. While immigration is unavoidable for any nation of today, the way people immigrate to other countries really frustrates. Nations just go by whatever documents are submitted to the embassies to grant visit/student/work visas. Most of the time, the documents are cooked up or forged in order to secure entry into other countries. This is very common in India as well. \n\nIndia too have serious problem with the Canadian Govt, which openly backs & harbors terrorists from India such as Khalistanis. Of late, Canada has become safe haven for global terrorists, who need a safe shelter. I still wonder, what is stopping India from getting Canada declared a terrorist state.

i been home less 6 years now in thunder bay ont i work most my life i help others gave money,now you think i can get help not a chance,and yes everything is about money we like fast food.i can get help as i clean and sober now for over 3 years witch i done myself,no clinics just hard work in the bush keep me right,our goverment is about the money they all make money off us its sad that our people suffer they need to step up help us and look food banks i see them there new clothes phones cars all together claim for ten people there takes me hours to get food so i stop going his life not easy and the goverment and agencys make money off us sad so sad

Only thing that I would say that needs to be reviewed is the source @ 12:38 where you said 7% of the Canadian population leaves when in actuality it is ~ 0.7% to 1% which is an order of magnitude different that what was said. Brain drain is real but its not at a point where we are losing more than 1% of our population a year to the US just yet. Also people return after ~5 years when they do go but I'm curious if they will stop coming back in the coming years. Anyways, I'm looking forward to future work and you gained a subscribe from me!
