Unfortunately most of the students realize this only after living there for a few years. By that time your universities and colleges have already gulped the money paid by the international students. They don't care if you die on streets or remain homeless or go back to your own country. STOP COMPLAINING.

Ive lived in brampton for 5 years. Yes we do have a good number of our people here. \nTalking about temples, thats what indian people do, we are religous. And i dont see anything wrong with having our temples built the traditional way. The city had no issue with it thats how they got permits to build. \nWhy so many of us live here …. Brampton is located very close to all major cities in gta. It has a good public\nTransport network…. A lot of colleges both convenient for the students. And more over the govt did not specify where new commers should go. \nI thought canada was always a land of immigrants from hundreds of years so dont know when they say too many of us here. We came like others…. Did the paperwork… got approved for visa. Students pay 3x the money for the same course a canadian would pay. Its contributing to the economy.

9:37 it's good to hear that you grew up in Germany. Maybe it was better before, but nowadays the DeutcheBahn is so unpredictable, with all the strikes etc. It became a meme. Previously the low cost airlines kinda was a choice, but these days the tax on flight deliberately increased by German government, and there are not much cheap flights left, better to cross the border and fly from there. Also I find it not fair to compare Germany and Canada as their areas are different. Definitely not to compare with Singapore.\nI heard that flight in Canada are very expensive, but if I would live in Vancouver I would prefer to go to Seattle over the border for a weekend rather than going to Toronto on the other side of the continent. Car option in Canada I assume is more affordable that Germany. The German gas price(for cars), or energy in general considered to be one of the most expensive in the World. Also the expenses to get a car license, people are just saying that it's easier and cheaper to fly over to USA get car driving license there and come back. In general with all the pros and cons, Canada seems better when compared to Germany, I saw several people left from Germany to Canada, and only 1 from Canada to Germany(his main reason was high property prices, and German were surprised because of such reason, the prices risen in Germany as well, except maybe for rural areas).\n\nAlso to make it fare when comparing Toronto better to compare it to Berlin, not just to any city in Germany. I think there will the same homelessness and drug issues in Berlin.

Let's make Canada great again. Actually I'm kidding. Let's not go down that road. It's easy to poke holes, and cherry pick problems, much harder to appreciate the good things we have. Canada has problems for sure but every place does and we really don't have it so bad. Unreasonable expectations are just as big of a problem as high prices. If Vancouver is too expensive then go somewhere else. I did. Canada is a big place. Very big. There are loads of opportunities if you get out of the rut you are in and stop thinking that life owes you a certain lifestyle.

The GOVT WONT solve this problem because if they actually meet the 5M new houses target and the housing becomes more affordable, imagine what happens to the cost of the existing houses and the loans that go along with it! Many people have just bought houses at 3X the asking prices thinking they can sell it 5 yrs later and never actually to pay it off, all those people will be screwed and in banks will be screwed in return. This huge immigration was just to strengthen the vote bank and not really to improve the economy of the country. It's a very old political strategy and people still get fooled and vote for it. I got a chance to get shifted to North America 24 years ago. By then I had reached a CXO level job in India and that company gave me a choice. I decided it was good in India, and my salary went up as the years went by. In USD terms I might have got lesser than in NA, but in purchasing power, I got more, I think.\n\nThen India's growth after Y2k happened and I got other jobs, and participated in stock options with start-ups with dynamic founders (India has a decent VC-PE network now, especially for technology people). 5 years ago I decided no need to work and be on my own, doing stuff I always wanted do, but income was more priority. Today I realise most of new wealth is being created in India: new ideas, new services, products, delivery systems, etc: all being thought of in India. Why go abroad, except for a vacation?\n\nToday I have a fairly substantial net worth that got created through those wealth sharing jobs and I realize when I visit NA, that I would never have got this, not unless I had been there for a long time, and certainly not in Canada - that's pretty clear.\n\nToday, India is the place where wealth is being made. If you have a product or service that is successful, or are a part of such an enterprise and get to share in the value creation (that's a risk, not a given, not guaranteed), India is the place to be. And by going out of India, you are taking a risk, this is no different, except we know India in our blood.\n\nIf you are entrepreneurial, or have the risk taking capacity to work with an entrepreneur and share his risk with stock participation, there a great probability you will do very, very well in India.\n\nThe biggest upside: YOU are now developing India!

No, medical care is not good in Canada. Diagnostics are not good. Doctors never knew what is going on and don't seem to care. Italy and Germany are way better and have integrated understanding of medicine. ~ And, no, Canadians are not friendly but quite hostile and rude actually. Came here about 8 years ago from eastern Europe. Love it in Canada! It's not perfect, but again no country is. We enjoy the easy-going people, the feeling of freedom, and access to good jobs (doing much better economically than back in the old country) and the multi-cultural atmosphere . America is a good place to live. I have visited a number of places in the USA and it's a free first world country with alot of fun and cool places to see and do. Just like every country in the world there are positives and negatives. I think that the health care is majorly flawed in America. Health insurance is too expensive for the average person and if you get really sick and don't have health insurance in America you are probably going to die. I also don't like that there is no gun control and way to many murders and violence in the USA. Those are the 2 biggest problems that make me not want to live there.

I don't agree that North American cities are all ugly just like not all European cities are all that beautiful. Go to Rome, Naples Athens and you will see how dirty and run down these cities are. And no Vancouver is not nicer than Chicago.\n\n I think the mindset here in Canada especially Ontario is not the best. Everyone is all about going to work and just isolating. In Europe it's much more vibrant. People want to go out and socialize a lot more. Here it's basically work and home. I'm Indian but not born in India for 3 generations and even in my country, the Indian/Paki immigrants are just coming in droves. There's a distinct culture difference. well I have to say that this video is yet another white man complaining how the country is when they sat and watched it happen over the past 20 years. BOO Hoo you're the minority now sucks don't it. I'm not a huge fan of massive immigration but I honestly think the reason some of the white Canadians are homeless is because they don't want to work. Indians who come here all support each other and they're willing to do anything to make money; pizza delivery, 7/11 clerk, etc...they live in small spaces...many of them together and within a few years of hardship they save enough money to buy homes. This is not the case with some of the Canadians or Quebecors for that matter. They make fun of immigrants but are unwilling to do dirty jobs and would prefer to live off welfare....once I told a white bum who seemed in good health to go and find work, he got very aggressive. Anyway, everything is relevant!!!
