you should review this video theres alot of biases and extreme right wing views, the problem is the polititions who are in with the colleges. there is a great housing crisis here and the blame goes to the closed minds and manipulative medias that make it seem like its a livable and affordable place. Hello!!! it's one of the most expensive cities in the world! this video is down right racist and full of misinformation & manipulation. We are funding and fueling the country and many of us have homes outside of Toronto with families. What I got from this video is Toronto NEEDS more housing and more and easier to access mental health support

As someone that lives an hour outside of Toronto it honestly disgusts me and angers me to see how many immigrants and “new Canadians” are living a better and more prosperous life then the actual people who work their asses off and contribute to society. Keep them out, kick them out and give back to your people the Canadians who deserve it and work for it not someone who got flown over on a plane or shipped over on a boat . No the rent situation was not always high in Canada . Look at the rents in the mid to early 70’s in Toronto : 100-150 for a 1 bedroom. Try renting a one bedroom in Toronto for less than 2500 now not easy.\nIn 2001 I payed 425 for a bachelor apartment right now it’s around 1800-2000 a month . Did the salaries go up 5 times not even close .

Brampton was nice place to live back in the day. Now it is a shithole, infested with crime, violence and everything else. Toronto has been well upon its way there for more than a decade . I guess cultural enrichment and diversity struck again. \n\nThis what happens when a country no longer controls its borders and has no say as to who comes in and how many. Canadians are living those end results and consequences in real time. The thing is that too many of them voted for this and are too passive, apathetic or spineless to say or do anything. Which isn’t necessarily all that different from the rest of Western countries.\n\nPeople who don’t care about Canada, Canadian culture, values etc. Canada has just become a port of convenience, where people, like in this case from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka etc., land, and are more interested in “what can you give me”, “ what can you do for me”, no forethought of hey, maybe this is a two-way street where something is also expected from me to give back to the country and society that gave me an opportunity. If this is allowed to continue it will only get worse.

I left Toronto for Cobourg two years ago. Since then every new business is brown owned, brown staffed. There are busses picking up Indian kids at the mall to take them to factories. Canada is a disgrace, an absolute sellout.

Not too far from me is a shelter. Once a gigantic Toronto Hydro building now just a gigantic building that houses immigrants.The immigrants in this shelter all originating from Africa. I have yet to see, white, asian or brown exit this building. It houses both women and men. No families with kids..that ive noticed yet. They seem to be treated very well. Everyone looks happy, healthy and full. They enter and exit freely and usually have their best clothes on like they are about to go to church. Food is is delivered to them everyday. Fully cooked meals ready to be eaten.. and im sure brought in multiple times a day. Incredibly gross of Canada

Some conservative provinces have been sending homeless people and drug addicts to other provinces for decades. Such as Alberta and Saskatchewan sending their homeless and drug addicts to Vancouver. Cities in Ontario have been sending their homeless and drug addicts to Toronto and London, the London Ontario deputy mayor even recentl called out other cities for sending homeless people to his city.

Nickname for Brampton is Browntown.? Brampton has the most aggressive drivers. Lots of shooting there. Nick name for Agincourt in Toronto is call \nAsiancourt. Scarborough has changed a lot too. Mostly Muslims. Hardly any white people live in Scarborough anymore. If you are see one, they are usually immigrant Eastern Europeans.

I retuned to Canada, and now live in Toronto, after 16 years overseas, and I believe that your comments are fair, balanced and reasonable. I believe that the issues are primarily the result of failure of governance at every level. We all know that we need significant immigration if we are to support our rapidly aging population, but simply bringing new people in without effective plans to integrate them into our society is a predictable recipe for trouble.

I am in Toronto and this poor delivery guy must be a student on his study permit and that is the reason he didn't messed up with this west piece of shit else he would have given him taste of his own medicine right then and there. You are overreacting. The city has so much to offer and all cities have problems but you live with it. I’ve lived with many cities in America that people knock but yet I love them. When I moved to Toronto 20 years ago, it was more pleasant and people in general was polie and good manners.\nFor the last 10 years and especially the last 5 years, it’s worst and worst.\nDon’t expect someone say Hi to you in your building. Over half of my young 20 to 30 year old friends only managed to move out of their parent's via some combination of couch surfing or cramming themselves into small spaces with other friends\n\nIt's not only NIMBYs, the zoning regulations are ridiculously restrictive and make developers waste land on giant mazes of single family homes that will inevitably be bought up to cram 40 students into each.

I disagree with the mass immigration under his reign: Canada’s healthcare system has been on life support for decades… inflation, tent cities and food insecurity. We need to fix our own problems before allowing immigration: “we need to put on our own O2 mask before helping others”. Stating that, since the Indian population has grown in Brampton, what’s the solution? They are already there— i know many ppl who have come to Canada and do not know the language, can only speak Italian, and Chinese… to name a few. I don't have much sympathy. I was homeless in Toronto in 2007, and now I have a wife and a 7 year old son, and a beautiful home in Nova Scotia. Just don't be a drug addict. Everything else you can overcome.

Toronto is almost there. English is not the majority language anymore. Even the White people do not speak it. The only good thing about Brampton is the majority are from Delhi and not Dearborn.

In January I flew into Toronto for my connecting flight to London but missed it. I was put up in a hotel in Brampton. First time there in 25 years. I didn’t feel like I was in Canada. I felt like a foreigner in my own country. during my 15 hours there I saw only one other non-Indian in the hotel. The restaurants, limousines to and from the airport, the drugstore and on the street - only Indians. Not one of them I spoke to had English mother tongue. One of the limo drivers came to Canada for education and told me once he got here he couldn’t get the program he signed up for and he was now in another program and as soon as he finishes this year he is leaving. He lived in Brampton and he told me he doesn’t feel safe there or in Toronto due to the crime. Interestingly he said a lot of the crime in the Indian community never gets reported to the police.
