Hi, I'm from India live in India and never dreamt of any other country's citizenship, India is my motherland. As a teacher, I can say that students are going to Western countries because agencies from US, UK, Canada lure them for better education opportunities and better life, their parents spend all their life savings for them and live in financial difficulty here. Some of these agencies are not legal, and people get trapped in various immigration scams all over world. I can see in video the life they are living in bad condition. I think US or UK or Canada or even for the matter India should not allow atleast voting rights, to immigrants right away. If you find some of them useful loyal for betterment of country they can be allowed local citizen's rights. Rest all who are trapped or illegally immigrated should be sent where they belong to by helping them in some way.

Student visas should not be an automatic entry toward PR or citizenship, and students should prove their merit to society on what they can bring to Canada. Immigration should be productive to a country such as new investments, job creation, and so on, not a burden.

Over our extensive history of immigration our country has experienced chronic separatism, racism, exclusion and of course, bigotry. The *us-against-them* rhetoric is as old as humanity and not exclusionary to Canada. Euro settlers were racist against natives, then blacks, then Eastern Europeans, then Italians, Latinos, Asians, Arabs, Africans and so on. The blame? You called it. It's complicated, but failed economic policies are the root cause. People acting horribly does not help either. Having said that, as a proud Canadian here's a Pro-tip for any newbie emigrating to new pastures - anywhere in the world; Learn the new house rules and behave. Politicians are myopic and can’t see or don’t care what it will be the impact of mass immigration in Canada in the long run. It appears that the Country with time will lose its predominantly Christian with European customs and traditions. Remember how Christmas was celebrated in the past.

It is mostly the fault of the incompliant and corrupt Liberal government for the massive influx of unskilled India workers/students. Under previous sane governments, there were manageable caps that controlled the influx and allowed for proper immigration of vetted and skilled workers, but the Liberals stopped properly vetting people and basically opened the flood gates. For a Canadian company to hire foreign workers, they used to have to prove there were no Canadian workers to do that job, so foreign workers were mostly used in seasonal agriculture work, but due to very shady government deals with big corporations Trudeau approved paying wage subsidy and turning a blind eye to Canadian workers so Singh Hortons (and many other big businesses) could have workers for a cut rate and the government tax dollars paid up to 70% of wages and welfare. Also Foreign workers think they can stay here once their visa's expire, refusing to leave. There is simply no need for Canada to bring in over a million Indians that are in hard times in their own country. Our welfare or culture can't stand it. Not sure if you missed it or not, but India's foreign minister at the start of summer, thanked Trudeau for taking all their criminals, and low caste people. But People need to follow proper immigration policy, and not buy a ticket to Canada from a India scammer guaranteeing citizenship, which has been the case as well. See you are a respectful and good citizen who we would have no problem welcoming to Canada. It's the others who are ignorant and who do not respect our countries culture. If you plan to immigrate you must respect our culture and act as nice or nicer than the reputation us Canadians have. The reason we are upset with some Indians is they have no respect. Some of them throw their garbage everywhere on the streets on the beaches on our walkways. I get in India the culture there may allow you to throw garbage in the streets and lakes and rivers. We do not do that here. Either way something has to change the government needs to fix this problem they created. Also why did they allow so many Indians what about Immigrants from other countries? It seems like all they did was mass import people from India. They can hardly even speak English. I worked in a retail store with where Indians shopped regularly. They were the very rude to the sales helps. They talked down to us and they were the worst thieves the store has ever seen. Our regular customers started going else ware because of this problem. I'm afraid Canada is no longer a great, desirable country because we have aloud it to be taken over by the east indians. I'm always wondering why the most immigrants in Canada are from India. It must be from different countries, to create a great culture and nation.

Too many of you from the same country I'm all for immigration but it should be a few people from each country and that's it and as they assimilate then you can bring more in there should be also a 10-year probation period where is a migrant gets into any kind of legal trouble violent crime they're deported right back to their country there should also be a 10-year band on the running for office and the vote enough with the handouts when our ancestors came here from Europe they came with nothing in their pockets they weren't handed nothing they weren't given anything they had to work for what they got

I think it boils down to the issue of mass immigration as you pointed out earlier in the video. People don’t like to observe sudden and drastic transformation of their country’s cultural and ethnic make up. The Trudeau government is the one primarily responsible for this when he’s importing half a million immigrants a year not only it causes housing shortage but also not enough time to integrate the migrants that are coming and it becomes unsustainable. Hence when there’s stories such as “pooping on the beach by East Indian migrants” emerges it simply shows a symptom of unsustainable immigration where some immigrants bring in their disgusting 3rd world habits and don’t realize the common sense social norms that exist in the country they’ve migrated to and learn to adapt. And yes there are way too many Indians in Canada and it’s quite noticeable, they often don’t respect Canadian culture and values and don’t properly integrate.

Well then make the immigration policy easy as simple as that...\nMe as an Indian nurse have been contacted with myriad of agents on linked in and WhatsApp stating that Germany is in dire need of Indian nurses under skilled work immigration, and we require at least B1 or B2 level German speaking nurses. Provided that nurses have to complete their certification coutse from their home country which is quite lengthy and sometimes unattainable because of the excess work load on nurses in private hospitals in India especially in Metropolitan cities.\nSo make the policies easier for foreign nurses by taking the experienced nurses and ask them to complete their German Language course once they arrive in Germany probably while doing their bridging nursing program ??

Nothing wrong with foreign workers but allowing workers from one central area of the world was really stupid. It’s now breeding resentment, racisms and hate which is unfortunate. However, this country experienced a severe shortage of workers after Covid, Canadians were not jumping to return to work to face low paying, low end employment. But, this was not the answer. At the very least, immigration should have been balanced across many world communities. But it wasn’t, only South East Asians were permitted in via this advance scream. Totally wrong, totally unbalanced, and totally racist also. And the Ontario Ford government was also behind this mess. It was absolutely a joint effort. Political BS.

When Indians from small towns with less exposure become manager abroad, they start dominating and micro managing foreigners working under them. Desi people love bossing around. Speaking from personal experience in NZ. They come to a foreign country and create the same Indian fucking work ethics. I hope immigration gets even tougher for us Indians as we don't deserve it.

I was never racist or taught to see people of other ethnicities or religions as inferior so I don't hate Indians, nor do I show them disrespect unless warranted but the rampant abuse of our systems has messed up so many things. I know of large families of Indians who came as asylum seekers who'd come over separately while claiming different names so when they all come together some families are getting $30k or more per month just for being here. They drive expensive new luxury vehicles and mostly wear expensive designer clothes and are given homes while at the same time us Canadians born and raised here are struggling to even get to eat well every day or have a home to begin with. It's not entirely the fault of Indians, the blame also needs to be shared by our gov't as well since they opened the borders and have mostly waived the process of vetting who comes into our country. It's never a bad thing to have people who genuinely add to the collective greatness of a country but we have let in too many freeloaders and even criminals, the Indian gangs extorting businesses for millions in BC and Alberta for example. Nothing wrong with Indian immigrants as long as we can balance the needs and safety of everyone involved as well. Right now there is no balance and the results are catastrophic. Canada never used to be host to so much divide and hatred as it is now, we can thank Trudeau and his people for that.

It appears that the huge increase of immigrants to Canada came at the expense of poor screening process by Immigration Canada. It is true that you can't demand higher education for people you expect to perform menial jobs, but no one wants these jobs especially in a country with such high living costs, and such poor outlook of social advancement. Every society on earth have a lower social segment of uneducated and poor individuals. Unfortunately a portion of these lower class Indians landed in Canada, and aren't contributing to their new country, or to India itself. As usual, they generally are single young males; a similar situation can be appreciated in Europe with Muslim and African individuals. I can't say how many times I've received calls or e-mails from scammers from India, Pakistan, Russia, Nigeria, and China. We, in the West as common citizens, are the targets of criminals around the world trying to exploit us. If landed immigrants aren't of any positive influence to Canada, they should be denied citizenship and expelled from the country.

There needs to be a moratorium on foreign students and immigrants. 5 years. We need to get our country back. We also need to change the demographic of who we allow into this country because it's driven Canada into the ground.

Canada is not the only country that has changed immigration processes! People take chances everyday. People going back home is sad but not new. They paid for their education and received it. It sucks they can't get residency, but they were not cheated.

I'm thinking that the next government which I hope will be led by Pierre Poilièvre, will seriously opt for a solution like opening a Canadian school in India and in other countries so that people don't have to come here to study in a Canadian school/college/university. That way, they could study in their country without having to move and face difficulty in living abroad which for them should be only allowed for a certain number of years and then that they have to return to their country of origin. Once back in their country of origin should they want to immigrate here, well there is an official process for immigration that needs to be done. No skipping steps and that has to be done from outside of Canada.
