writhe people want 35 dollars by h jobs, government want taxes to pay old populations on retirement, abusive landlords want 2600$ dollars monthly rent. i never hear an immigrant complaining. they all succeeded. Is very rare to se immigrants become drug addicts and homeless. That's reserved for the native and the white people. But they complain every day without looking to the mirrors 🪞. Immigrants keep Canada running. More you spend time complaining, more time you will be poor. immigrant succeed even with a 17 $ by h living in a 500$ room after 3 or 5 years they all have houses, nice cars, business and investment i the country. why local can not do it even whit a university degree? Because they are not strong to go work double shifts if need it. Why to buy a 1 million dollars house if you can not even eat correctly every day. The problem is that people live like king and they blame others like the new Inmigrants for their own choices. Have a humble life, respect everyone. And I promise you will succeed.

So, why did my block drop in market value? Because people were leaving Winnipeg, and Manitoba. EVERYONE went to Vancouver or Toronto. Thanks for nothing, stupid politicians.. the opposition isn't doing their job when Canadians don't know anything about this.

As someone living in Canada... I actually don't feel much of the things mentioned in the video. Sure, wages are not growing as fast as it can, but as someone who managed to purchase a home *before* the bubble started to expand, I'm living steady right now.\n\nWhat is REALLY causing a large part of the social and economic issues is actually the fact that provinces are NOT expanding new towns and cities in the millions of kilometers that needs to grow. Everyone is moving into cities, including refugees and new immigrants, which is driving up local prices and demand for everything. A few years ago, there were literally news of townships outside of the major cities offering houses and land for $50 per acre if people move to those towns and live there. \n\nCanada's biggest (heh) advantage is how much land it has. It's biggest weakness is how little comparative population it has. The worst problem is the concentration of population in like 6 keys cities throughout the entire country. If more people who complain about housing or social issues were willing to move outside of the major cities, they wouldn't have those problems.

I leave in Canada since 1992 and it was very difficult to became lendent immigrant and life was very affordable interesting the first house we bought lake front for 48 thousand and townhouse for 58 thousand in Brandford and it was affordable to pay mortgage even i became a widow but now gasoline so expancive rased 3 times so and grosseries prices increased the same .Why we have to pay carbontax ,landtaxes wich became 2500 compaire 350 in 2000? You don't have for whoom complain if you didnt have good service the courts always on contractor's side even you have all evidences about stealing materials .It is so ashamed so rich and nice country became the most expensive to leave !

India makes their visas, oci cards etc very difficult. I don't think India are in a position to complain about other countries. Here in the UK do you know how many hundreds of thousands of illegal Indian immigrants that are here???? That's the reason.

But they were in passenger planes, not military planes. That's all the Colombian president was complaining about. Additionally, if anything is not going their way, they complain about racism and why Canadians don’t understand their culture. Yet, they have no interest in learning about and adapting to Canadian culture. Many brought with them the ways of dealing with people and doing business that are often very shady and Canadians are forced to adapt to them. I support immigration as it adds to the diversity of our culture. However, when 80% of the permanent residence VISA were issued to Indians last year, that’s not diversity. We don’t want to become India 2.0.

This is addressed mainly to the ugly Indian: My generation came to the racist west and built a golden reputation. We worked hard, assimilated, paid our taxes, and obeyed the laws. We were humble. We celebrated our native cultures within the confines of our communities. While it was frustrating to be invisible in white culture, we never sought to conquer them with our culture. We were ethical to the hilt. Our generations were poor -- yet we struggled to help others in India and in the west. We were NEVER on the dole. Personally I think it is rude to enter a nation (in the west or anywhere in the world) with naked opportunism. Speaking for myself -- despite neocolonialism, I admired western civilization, especially its older forms. \n \nBut the ugly Indian who comes now is loud, brash, socially irresponsible, exploitative, money-hungry, opportunistic, and arrogant beyond belief (full of the hubris that comes from sudden new wealth). They look down on us who have been here a while. They are used to a servant-culture and look down on white working class people, as if they are servants. As for second generation Indians in the west, they can be racist towards us first generations. But the opposite is true as well. Indian newcomers see them as an alien species. Indians do tend to hire their own and stick to their own identities -- I do not mean the Indian identity, but their native state identities. All this feeds into the primary and secondary forms of western racism that are already simmering beneath the surface. This new genre of Indians is destroying the goodwill we have built. I have personally witnessed arrogant young Indian students cutting the line to reach the front desk. No manners, no ethics. As a first generation Indian immigrant I get annoyed. So why shouldn't native born westerners (who are already racist)? \n \nBut to complain about how they smell is rude beyond belief. This must stop.

Indians are peddled this dream that everything outside is a heaven since early childhood. They see pictures of skyscrapers in Manhattan, London and Frankfurt and think everyone is living like that outside. These people are further brainwashed by immigration agencies and disguised human traffickers to put lakhs or even crores on the line for just going outside. They sell their lands, properties and other assets just to be able to go out pursuing a misleading dream.\n\nThis is a problem especially in states like Punjab, Gujarat, Telangana, Andhra and Kerala, where most of the people still believe that it's better living outside than inside. These are not people who don't have anything in India but rather well-to-do families that have homes and assets and families in the country. \n\nThen comes the added Western bias and negative media image through propaganda. \n\nIndia has much work to do - if the country keeps complaining, nothing will get done.

My apt building is filling up with immigrants, all the whites are moving out as the landlord is letting our building turn into a slum, whenever i call, he is in India, he has not fixed a damn thing and as white people move out, he does not clean the apt between people, he let's them move in with other people's garbage, he did that to me and when i complained he asked for the keys back, he is also doubling the rent of the new immigrants. In the Philippines ( I'm focusing on that country as a born Canadian Filipino ) there was a 40% rise in, not only immigration, but exclusively mostly caucasian immigration to the Philippines. Prices in the Philippines then skyrocketed exponentially. Yet, they ( The Philippines ) NOT ONCE complained....in general, let alone frabricated ussues to complain about like the manner which is demonstrated in all of North America. So, how much worse, how much more problematic, is the basically small percentage of immigration is in Canada?\n\nFurthermore, in the Philippines exclusively, the immigrants there, not care to learn the Filipino language and would rather go poor, than contribute to the labour force of the Philippines. So....HOW MUCH MORE VALID are Canadian problems with immigration?

Thank you for summarizing these key changes! Many problems are actually the Canadian immigration system not learning from the mistakes of the US system and now it’s suffering the same consequences. If Canada cuts down on those selected immigrations but still takes in refugees, it’s only going to make anti-immigrant sentiment worse. Selected immigrants are allowed into Canada to help alleviate Canadian issues…or at least people who come through Express Entry are less likely to become a burden. On the other hand, refugees, given their unfortunate circumstances, really need to rely on a lot of social services and resources to help them resettle. The US has eliminated pretty much all non-humanitarian immigration that’s why immigrants are so demonized there. Americans only feel the drags of refugees and asylum seekers (even though ethically we need to protect them) and there is no selected immigration to balance that out. Yet this round of Canadian policy change is heading exactly that direction.\n\nIt used to be international students in Canada are not paying a lot more tuition than Canadian students. But Canadian universities saw how much money universities in the US are making so they asked the federal government to change the policy to enable them to charge international students several times the regular tuition (whereas in countries like France, international students actually pay less than citizens). So now Canadian universities rely too much on international students to operate and it becomes an exploitative relationship even before students step foot on the campus. The new PGWP eligibility is awful because students can make contributions in every field. It might (and that's a big if) address the pressing problems, but it won't help Canada grow.\n\nI thought the new language requirement was interesting. Some Canadians who immigrated decades ago when the bar was really low still speak English poorly and now they are saying people can’t come to Canada because their language skills are not sufficient. Another point about language is if you apply through Express Entry now, even if you scored the highest language score, given how competitive the pool is, you still won’t get selected. So it’s a given that you need to be fluent in one of the languages at least to get an invitation. Express Entry also selects only the top people, I saw the head of The Institute for Canadian Citizenship in interviews talking about those top-tier people only expect the best treatment/lifestyle when they come to Canada. That's why many of them leave after seeing these Canadian problems play out. But I believe a good Canadian life is not about living in a high rise in Vancouver and Toronto, driving an expensive car, or buying luxury items...it's about the communities, nature and middle-class comfort. So the system is giving PRs to the wrong kind of people (just like mismatched people when hiring that don't align with company values).\n\nThis brings me to the last frustrating issue. There were so many people who attended “fake” universities and bought “fake” jobs to earn points to get an Express Entry invitation. And it's clear that the government wasn't proactively catching these abuses. They are taking up spots from those who try to earn the points fair and square. If I understand correctly, Canada doesn’t send these people away if they are found out (since some of them were scammed). So they still take up immigration quotas.\n\nI have wanted to move to Canada for a long time. I have visited Canada many times, hiking trails through the coastline and fjords, climbing mountains and glaciers. I lived in Montreal for two months to improve my French and I was told by my homestay family that I was the first student they had who didn’t complain about the cold (I wish the winter never ends so I can skate or xc ski in the parks year-round). I have probably seen more Canada than many Canadians and I love every bit of it. But the opportunity for me to even get a shot to move there is pretty much nonexistent now. Ohhh if it was her own child I’m sure she wouldn’t be saying that’s ok.., there are many like her out there. They get those papers and they think they work for the White House. If she would’ve visited Mexico and had a kid while visiting and didn’t have the money for a green card it would have been a completely different situation. For those just because you got your papers do you not think that there are people that came here as infants or kids to immigrant parents that came to work to provide for their kids it’s not that easy to get your green card it cost thousands of dollars. Many immigrants that I know and worked with including myself, I came here as a refugee. Immigrants are the hardest working people I know. Unfortunately a lot of the ones that came here as kids grew up in some neighborhoods that are not so great and mainly are kids that were born here that are in gangs or doing drugs or violent so don’t blame immigrants saying they bring all this with them it was already here … drugs gangs violence was already here. Gangs started in the White House with their red and blues. Then they say they are taking all the jobs.. the jobs have always been here but people that are citizens are too lazy to go get jobs or keep jobs ( not all citizens) but the ones that are complaining immigrants usually come from villages without any media or drugs or gangs ect. They simply come here for better opportunities or for jobs. I noticed in comment section, a lot are pro illegal immigration. Illegal immigrants is crossing boundaries without permission, which is a form of trespassing. So, those who are pro illegal immigration are pro trespassing. Since your pro trespassing, no complaining about human violation. Since all form of human violation are a form of trespassing. ? I say give the latino community what they voted for even if it means getting rid of 100s of thousands of tax paying citizens who happen to be illegal immigrants who am I to tell the latino community what's best for them? They have legally asked for asylum and they are awaiting their asylum hearings in immigration court. TRUMP can’t touch those. In Texas, many of these people have their 1st immigration court hearings in 2027 & 2028!! It usually takes at least 2 years to get to “trial,” then if you lose, you have 2 appeals and each appeal can take 2-3 years.\n\nEven the criminal aliens they pick up will be entitled to have their day in immigration court. This is nothing new. Bush and Obama deported millions of criminal aliens!! Criminal aliens have always been deported. This has never stopped, regardless of who’s the president. Look up ICE detention facilities. You have 2 big ones in California, Otay Mesa & Calexico; in Arizona it’s Florence & Eloy; in Texas it’s Harlingen. They’ve been operating before & during the Biden administration.\n\nAnd wait till businesses & employers start complaining. ?. Canadians complain because they've only seen good throughout their lives. I, as an immigrant, appreciate everything this country has given me and truly love Canada from the bottom of my heart. Travelling to a country and living + working in the same country are 2 very different experiences. My friends, family, and colleagues based in the UK, Spain, US, Australia, and Dubai all have been complaining about things very similar to what you're complaining about. It's not a Canada issue, COVID unfortunately screwed up the whole world.

I am guessing 5 million Indians will march towards Canada and it is safe to presume that Immigration India formerly known as Immigration Canada is gearing up to accept all these as permanent residents namely the ones with diapers over their heads and I presume Transit companies, municipalities, hospitals, schools, banks, etc.. across Canada are gearing up to hire them right on the spot. Thanks to the Liberals, Canada is now run by the Prime Minister Of India. Happy new India for the illegal Indians. Canadians are complaining about shortage of housing, jobs etc...well that would be the least of your worries because there will soon be shortage of food, diapers, gas, cars and a lot more. If Canada is blessed the Conservatives win a whopping majority to clean all this Indian mess. The solution to these illegal immigrants is super easy and will not cost the government a penny. All the government has to do is give these pricks a 3 months grace period after which anyone overstays gets added to a Black list which means no permanent residency even if they spend the rest of their lives here and any child born to these pricks does not qualify for automatic citizenship plus fines for every day of overstaying with no maximum limit and denial of acceptance even if they leave at a later time and apply from overseas including family reunions. Conservatives will assemble a legal committee to revoke the status of anyone who switched from visitor, fake student etc... to permanent resident and order them deported. Trump is not joking and he will kick out millions in just 1 year because he has robust means and eager sheriffs to round them like chicken and ship them out.

What they apparently don't know is that time and again historically Republicans have blocked any legislation to fix our broken immigration system. They don't want to fix it because employers like having cheap labor & that they can threaten to call ICE when undomented workers complain of unsafe working conditions or low wages or no benefits.

You know the only people who are complaining about illegal immigrants are those who are not making money off the backs of those immigrants. If companies did not provide jobs for them there wouldn't be much of a benefit for being here.

Kick out the Indian students who don't come to learn but try to get PR status through fake colleges AND the unskilled Filipino workers getting express entry through the 'Caregiver program', who have raped that program for decades and are number 2 on the list of most immigrants EVERY DAMN YEAR because of this program AND the Africans littering shelters and draining welfare and other programs paid for by taxpayers.
