I thought Trudea was resigning for the horrible job he has been doing in Canada?

All Americans should stand up to these horrible Leaders who have been taking advantage of us for years!

Canada about to kick\nItself in the balls, eh! \n\nHard to believe anyone is listening to anything this horrible, little wannabe tyrant, says. \n\nAfter what the Canadian government did to its people when they resisted it, which was a bloody disgrace. He’s in no position to act like a victim.

Please keep in mind, that all the issues we have in Canada are because of Trudeau. He's been in power for almost a decade. The widespread drug abuse and crime is because of him being weak on policy and handing out drugs like candy paid by tax payers. More people died from fentanyl in Canada than our soldiers in WWII. That is all on his watch. He is only making these changes because of Trump. What kind of a leader is Trudeau to only become Canada first when a person from outside the country threatens him? He is a horrible leader and a traitor to the Citizens and the Country we call Canada. Regardless of what his speech is, he cannot be trusted with his globalist agenda. He has stepped down (thank goodness!!) and Canada is looking forward to having Pierre Poilievre as our PM.

Alot of our now World Leaders are just horrible people and more than happy to cause pain and suffering.

Canadian here. We helped America in 1980 by saving American diplomatic staff from captivity in Tehran. We suffered the loss of Canadian soldiers in Afghanistan. This is how we are paid back. The Trump Regime won a election with just 1.7% of the vote. Trump is becoming enemy number 1 in the free world. Horrible leader! Fair trade does not equate to being fair in this case. If you charge 25% why is it not fair in return to charge 25%? \nWhy does the world expect the US to cover their butts when our country can't afford it any longer. Why don’t they get that we are 37 trillion in debt? We can no longer afford the world’s unfair trade. Trudeau doesn't like the taste of his own medicine. He could lift the tariffs on the US and then there would be no reciprocal tarriff. He's only hurting Canadians.

As good as it is for Trudeau to stand his ground, he really needs to tread carefully with Trump, who is a petulant child, a horrible, classless, narcissistic dictator who loves nothing more than fighting and revenge. Horrible, horrible person.

Trump is a horrible, horrible human. I am devastated over what he is doing. I've never once given Trump my vote and I'm not a lefty liberal. I knew if he was voted in he was going to cause world wide chaos. He has shown his character over and over and over...yet a large portion of American's just ignored it. This election wasn't about republicans or democrats or independents. This election was about humanity and global security. American's ignored the writing on the wall for their own singular wants/opinions. They stand with their Trump flags but only a few of them can actually explain any accurate information about his policy or legal issues and they condone his behavior. The majority of Trumpers claim to be 'Christians'. Christians voting for a man who is a bully, abuser, liar, predator, monger of power, impedes freedom of press and speech and aligns himself with a dictator. He pardoned violent offenders and called them patriotic, spouts false information, obstructs investigations, has numerous felony charges against him and has now made enemies with our allies. Shall I go on? That's not Christian. Even if you aren't Christian...that's not what America stands for. All for what...eggs? Guns? Cheaper groceries? Or because your need for hating a small group of people out weighs global peace. Or is it because you are so short sighted that you can't even see the valuable contribution that non American born people provide this country. Yes, Biden fell asleep at the wheel. Yet many of you still believed the better choice was a psychopath. This election was important. We failed as a country by putting this man in office. No matter what party you align with, we failed. Yes, I want cheaper eggs. Yes, I really need cheaper groceries. But not over the safety of the globe. Not over the lives of the people and children being killed in an unprovoked war. Not over the safety of Europe. Not over ripping off our closest and favorite country that borders us. Not over losing our democracy and our allies. I stand with Ukraine, Canada, Mexico and Europe and the Gulf of Mexico. You should ask yourself what you really stand for.

I'm no fan of Trudeau but... Compare this to Trump it's night and day. He looks young and healthy, talks eloquently and is intelligent. Tariffs 10%??\n\nMost should know that the fentanyl coming thru Canada is less than 1% If your wondering where the other 99% is coming from,know this- china allows the sale of the precursor drugs needed to make fentanyl, and it's unregulated. They suppy the mexican cartels these drugs to make and sell which comes across Mexican borders into the US. If china regulated the precursor drugs it could stop fentanyl manufacturing in its tracks. Again 10% tariffs vs 25% tariff. There was a time that china cooperated & worked with the US on this but have since stopped.\nSo whatever is going on with the trump administration, it's clear by the numbers this isn't about fentanyl with Canada. Especially since he didn't extend the same tariffs to the country that could actually stop the making of this horrible drug.

Dear dear people of Canada if any of you read any of these comments I want you to know that there are A LOT of us who are ABSOLUTELY NOT happy, about anything that this man\n who has been elected president, is doing. There are some of us who had definitely considered asking Canada for a dual citizenship. But this, I discovered is not an easy process ? we are so sad and sorry that a portion of our citizens were able to vote this man back into the White House. As someone from the Netherlands, I wish our former prime minister and current NATO leader Rutte responded in a similar way to Trudeau. He was always a true politicians' politician, but the way he stood with the US right after the horrible treatment of Zelensky was a new low. If the majority of US allies responded in a firm manner the way Trudeau just did, it might be enough to scare some Republicans into doing the right thing.

Go Canada, let him have it. Know that most Americans don’t support his actions. More than half of us DID NOT vote for him, and those that did likely had no idea what tariffs were or certainly didn’t understand how they work. Though I didn’t vote for him, I am so embarrassed and I am so sorry to the entire world for the horrible decision so many people in my country have made.

I voted blue and moved from a red state over to a blue state because I don't agree with conservative republican views. I especially didn't want Trump back in office because I thought he was horrible the first time. My heart sunk after the election because I saw this coming.
