As a Canadian we are tired of them coming here. theres to many and our healthcare cant take it. They almost always use our country and offer nothing back they dont assimilate and the driving skills are horrible.

0 white people in almost every tim hortons, our government has made me hate my own country. Foreigners are above Canadians in the governments eyes. But I guarantee you I'd be called racist for even saying this. It's so sad, I'm okay with equality but it's quite obvious that we are being neglected. In Canada, we imported almost 10% of our population is the last five years, the majority of whom came from India. There's no doubt that Indian culture is not the same as Canadian culture, and importing such a massive number so quickly means we are far more likely to see those cultures bumping up against each other, rather than giving them a chance to assimilate and blend. Like any good cook, I know if you try to add the eggs too quickly and in too much of a hurry, you get scrambled eggs in weak sauce, not a thick creamy custard. Same principle applies to immigration. We need to give people the time and chance to learn and absorb our culture and values, else we end up with ghettos and a weakened society.

No offence to the amazing Indian people, as a Canadian I find the majority very helpful and good for our country. However, things changed 2015- onwards- there are large scam companies now that bring unqualified people by taking money from them and creating fake student permits for them. The issue with that is that these people are OK with subpar living standards and offer their services for less than minimum wage and this creates a shadow/ cash-based economy where taxes go unreported and quality of life does not improve. This is not good for anyone- not the Canadians and older immigrants who lose jobs to these people and must pay higher taxes to maintain the infrastructure needed for a larger population. Not to mention how these new immigrants are a bit uncultured and almost like the "red-necks" of India- they throw garbage around, do not learn English, never make friendships with other races/ethnicities.

I came to Canada legally as refugee in early 90's. At 16, speaking almost no English, I was enrolled in High School and got a job in McDonald's. But even then my clear understanding was that the job was temporary. My managers told me the same thing. I went to university and immediately switched up. It is infuriating to see that fast food jobs are careers for middle aged people, gaming the system and my kids won't have the opportunity to experience the very natural and normal experience of getting into the job market

The one thing I can’t understand is how an international student from India can work without a social insurance number in Canada.They don’t have social insurance numbers in India.So places like Tim Hortons,Circle K and almost every fast food restaurant lets them work there without having Canadian taxes taking off their checks.Plus what happen to that box on most applications where it says are you legally allowed to work in Canada.

I agree many things, but not agreeing to “ not paying tax”, “not working hard” & “just cross the border illegally”, most new Brampton residents pay high taxes as most work at jobs and payroll money comes after tax. Maybe minor fraction like (0.01%) might be working in cash not paying tax. It’s just their frustration speaking. Almost all Indian immigrants are not refugee that they come free to Canada and live in hotels for free. The reality is that way too many of them come here to go on welfare + get a social housing + aaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllll the free services: free school, free healthcare, surgeries, special schools for handicapped kids. All the social housing that we build and pay for are almost exclusively made for immigrants (especially Arabs and Haitians). We Canadians are a nice bunch of suckers. As an Indian myself who has lived for a total of 12 years in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai) and given that almost 80% of the population is made up of expatriates, I have never truly faced such problems. I think the real reason why most are unhappy is because of a lack of discipline amongst the immigrants. Dubai may be more libertarian and tolerant toward other faiths than rest of the GCC nations but they don't tolerate any form of disrespect or indiscipline as they have very strict rules. I believe the locals and the immigrants can get along with each other if they respected each others' way of life.

I deal with truck drivers all day every day. 99% of the drivers are Indian. Seeing someone white is almost as rare as seeing a woman driving. Some are very nice. Some are very rude and entitled. Immigration is a scam. There's very little, if any, economic benefit from immigration, and what benefit there is has been shown to almost always be captured by those who hired immigrants and the immigrants themselves, while passing on all the economic, social, and environmental burdens to our poor communities. Let's face it, immigration is a transfer of money from labor to capital it's about 3 things: profit, power, and punishment. We need to have an immigration moratorium. It’s very interesting because Indians seem to be more thick skinned than Canadians in general, so even white ppl’s reservations or microaggressions don’t register to them and they just keep expanding on positivity. I’ve met many Indian people in Canada and it almost seems like they’re so positive and community minded that they think it’s small minded to be stingy about sharing space, which can clash with the general reserved nature of Canadians but also make you feel embarrassed in a way about being judgmental. You even see it in this video with the white guy asking judgey questions to Indians but he gets showered with food and hospitality from the Indians. Punjabis are just about 2% of Indian population and almost 90% of immigration to UK, Canada and Australia. Canada calls students to give them PGWP after finishing their educations in Canada. The students pay ultra high education and life expenses. Then, Canada says we don’t need this much skilled worker as white collar, but you can works as uber drivers or Tim Hortons workers. The reason is Canadian youths don’t want to work in those odd jobs. However, Canadian people complain about the immigrant odd workers. They think economy is bad because of those immigrants who paid thousands of dollars for education and have been working in odd jobs. This is stupidity. Canada government exploits immigrant students by making them spend thousands for education and can only provide odd jobs for most of the immigrant students who hold PGWP work visa. Then some almost-racist Canadian folks stand against immigrants who have actually been exploited.

I moved here from South America almost 30 years ago and worked to learn the culture and values. When in arrived in Vancouver I was shocked to see so many Chinese people.. it was not my idea of Canada. Then I moved to Toronto and was shocked to see so many Indians. As an immigrant myself I'm against these immigrants that come here and don't learn the culture and have no appreciation for the Canadian way of life. This is 100% a failure of government policy .
