you have to understand one thing, the Sikhs are a minority in there own country...India. we are being killed in mass numbers by our own "people", having genocides committed against us. there is alot of politics involved between the Sikhs and India, we want our own country and they want to keep us oppressed.

As a Indian Sikh that was BORN in Australia with parents that have been in Australia for over 17 years, these new Indians coming here are the problem I’m not trying to be rude or racist but I’ve gone to India many times and there everyone is in Canada or something but when they get there they treat it like India, like if ur gonna go to a different country at least respect them . India is a beautiful country with good food it’s just that some (keyword some) people are disrespectful most Indians are like this because of stereotypes so they sometimes feel angry so then they try to get revenge. I’m not saying everyone is like this but I had to get it out because I’m starting to feel annoyed with Indians and other people, Indians also say that the uk stole from them so they are stealing back but that was only uk and only the government not the people. I know some folks, including my neighbour, who immigrated to Canada right after high School — they take services of immigration agents who have contacts with diploma mills there, get a student visa citing enrollment in a sham educational degree, join a minimum wage job and rig the whole process to attain PR & then citizenship — essentially giving low skilled, poorly assimilated labour the citizenship in Canada under guise of skilled or educated immigration. Even as an Indian, the whole situation is insane and astounding to say the least. Hindu Nationalism has spread its roots & conducts marches in Canada within the Indian Hindu areas like they do here in India and people have started performing river aartis as well (communal prayers to worship rivers) — all kinds of pernicious identitarianism is festering there. A ton of Indian immigrants now see Canada merely as a source to better life & resources, but relate to, & are patriotic towards India or assert their rawer religious Sikh or Hindu identity due to lack of any assimilatory pressure & absence of a well defined Canadian identity. Funniest part is Indians, esp Hindus, who vote for hindu nationalists ushering majoritarian policies in India, cheer for persecution of minorities and justify caste system, suddenly co-opt liberalism & decietfully use its talking points to defend their position as a minority in places they migrate to (they do not believe in so, and don't apply the same standards to themselves). If you wish to blame someone, blame the govt of Canada and its elites. At the end of the day, they wanted cheap manual labour, and opened the gates without much consideration.

Trying to be PC here but there is a socio-economic and possible hygíene difference I believe between Sikh and Hindu Indians. A least thinking of the ones here in California the Sikhs tend to be upper middle class, the other are often the sc@mmers ... But it seems like they all own rundown hotels and motels...and mini marts

I have more respect for Sikhs in general over Hindu Indians, but as someone who has to stay in hotels frequently for work, I have Indian fatigue. Not all are bad, but it just becomes annoying.

As a Sikh, born and raised in the US, this is an opinion I've had since this KHALISTAN stuff began. We go to Canada if we miss India, because it's basically become MINI PUNJAB LOL. Another note. The Khalistan topic is all nonsense. I don't know why SO MANY CANADIAN BORN and AMERICAN BORN SIKHS support or push for this. IF YOU PLAN TO MOVE BACK TO KHALISTAN, for sure support it. Don't push an issue you would not commit to. Plus, no foreign born would comfortably move to KHALISTAN, if it existed, due to the lack of opportunities. My parents left India for the lack of opportunities (legally). They knew Punjab has no future, since the Indian nation shrunk it's state borders, and we become a LAND LOCKED state. If this LAND LOCKED COUNTRY were to be established, everything would be ridiculously expensive, and Khalistan would be lucky to become as "successful" as EXPENSIVE Switzerland. It's illogical to support Khalistan on an economic standpoint.
