From Portugal, I am with Canada and all the countries and peoples who were victims of Trump. \nI never thought I would see a North American President ally with his traditional enemies and create enmity with his traditional friends and allies... all this in one month of government. We have to expect the worst and be united.

I really believe that it just comes down to Trump feeling resentment that he will never be part of a perceived 'inner circle' of establishment world leaders. It's probably over that one time when they were caught on a hot mic dissing him with Trudeau kind of leading the pack. Over the years Trump has shown over and over again that he is that petty and all of his decisions have an absolutely childish basis, yet the American people voted him in a second time. I've run out of patience with the American people too. They're not really doing anything about this except saying online that they support Canada just so they can feel a little better about themselves. Mr. Trudeau, As an American who has never voted for Trump, I apologize for the person we currently have in the White House, and wish Canada and Mexico the best. Do what you have to do, and hopefully it will cause enough disruption that Trump will have to retreat. Most of us consider Canadians and Mexicans our friends. A lot of people in the US are contacting our representatives in Congress, participating in economic boycotts, and joining groups like the ACLU that are bringing lawsuits against some of the actions that have already occurred. CNN also failed to mention ton that Trump signed the current trade agreement when he was president for his first term. Trump is a horrible, horrible human. I am devastated over what he is doing. I've never once given Trump my vote and I'm not a lefty liberal. I knew if he was voted in he was going to cause world wide chaos. He has shown his character over and over and over...yet a large portion of American's just ignored it. This election wasn't about republicans or democrats or independents. This election was about humanity and global security. American's ignored the writing on the wall for their own singular wants/opinions. They stand with their Trump flags but only a few of them can actually explain any accurate information about his policy or legal issues and they condone his behavior. The majority of Trumpers claim to be 'Christians'. Christians voting for a man who is a bully, abuser, liar, predator, monger of power, impedes freedom of press and speech and aligns himself with a dictator. He pardoned violent offenders and called them patriotic, spouts false information, obstructs investigations, has numerous felony charges against him and has now made enemies with our allies. Shall I go on? That's not Christian. Even if you aren't Christian...that's not what America stands for. All for what...eggs? Guns? Cheaper groceries? Or because your need for hating a small group of people out weighs global peace. Or is it because you are so short sighted that you can't even see the valuable contribution that non American born people provide this country. Yes, Biden fell asleep at the wheel. Europe has just announced an 800 billion Euro defence plan; I bet they’d be very interested in Canada’s critical minerals. Canadians will not forget this; this has damaged our relationship with the U.S. and it may never recover. We cannot forget that Americans voted this man back into power knowing who and what he is; they somehow believed that he was magically going to lower the cost of eggs, end a war and save the economy.
