It rough on black people in Anchorage Alaska getting jobs back in the 90s fir sure,I use to live there they even put false violations on my driving record, and I have a commercial driving license and couldn't keep a job due to my skin color.

How does Alaska have so much of the BC coastline?
2023-04-25 0
Some small criticisms.... Brain drain hasn't been a thing in Canada since you can't just cross the border and start working in the USA. Also, when you say that the majority of Canadians live within the American border, that does not include the Alaska border. the majority of us live close to the southern border.

HEY JYSTUN USA RUS CONNED YOU OF ALASKA...WAR LOL

Let everyone in, don't be mean to your fellow human beings, send others to Alaska, there's still plenty of vacant land there

Why your running like this, Mexico is having more history than America. Once upon a time ARYAVARTAM people use to travel through North East of Russia( Rushi bhumi) - Alaska and that's the only easy passage to Patala lokam ( AMERICA), South America. Like that Sanatana dharmam was there in the form of Maya civilization. My idea is VASUDHAIVA KUTUMBAKAM make visa free World but all must have passport.

The world wants to come into North America; the US, Canada, including Alaska and Newfoundland on each end.
2023-03-24 0
There is alot of land that not being used in Alaska and North canada.

Alaska is empty they will know how to build a town and bring so many bad things to the alaskan people
2023-03-18 0
Canada is just a transit .....they are actually trying to get to Alaska the best State in the USA for jobs ?????????
2023-03-15 0
I think Alaska needs people. Why not send them up there? Especially the Russians. They'll be close to home.
2023-03-14 0
Good, let them go to Canada. All of those who are caught illegally entering the United States should be put on buses and shipped to the far northern parts of Alaska north of the arctic circle.

Is hmong an official language in Alaska?
2023-01-17 0

2023-01-17 0
No, America is America. Every country has dangerous parts and its quiet parts and its cities and its suburbs or whatever ,but! the thing about canada is... that you're all fascist and elietist, its the French in y'all. You guys are idiot slaves to the government with limited freedoms and a tyrant. I grew up in cali and Georgia and now live in alaska. \nCanadians talking shit on the USA is laughable. You guys are dog shit look how you handled Rowanda.. You had one job guys and you let a genocide slip.

Bro, Preach isn't lying. I had to limit myself on Bread and Cheese in order to lose weight cause of my slow metabolism. Chicken and chocolate milk is what I had to eat to go from 260lbs to 180lbs from age 26 to age 40. I feel awesome now, I'm in better shape and love myself for it.\n\nAlso, Northern tap water...Canada, Alaska.....AMAZING!!!!! Omg it's so delicious.

I'm from the west coast Arizona so really no coastline but I'm from the west lol. East Coast women got nothing on the west coast women. See I've been to like 12 states. I have been to Canada twice. I've been to Alaska Puerto Rico, Hawaii. Nowhere out of country except Canada. I can't lie. Canada has some beautiful women too
2023-01-17 0
Yeah. Tap water in Alaska sucks. Hawaii tap water is good.
2023-01-17 0
Is Alaska like U.S. Canada?
2023-01-17 0
Move to Alaska:\n+Better tap water\n+No taxes\n+It's basically Canadian Texas (Guns)\n+Government pays you

It was obvious right from the start that this was just a set-up to make Canada look better. It came across as biased to get the desired outcome. I like Canada and Canadians but you do love to pat yourself on the back. I've lived in 6 places in the USA including Alaska and have been to Canada many times and have Canadian friends and neighbors here in the Arizona where I live now. Despite what you hear, most places are very safe here. All in all, I would still prefer to live in the USA.

I spent a summer working for Tourism Canada. (I'm a U.S. guy, by the way.) It's amazing that the average\nAmerican is so ignorant of Canada. If you ask one to name the ten Provinces, they can name about three.\nP.E.I.? Never heard of it. Nunavut? What on earth is that? I really enjoyed P.E.I (before the bridge) and\nNova Scotia, Alberta's Rockies, Vancouver, the Alaska Highway, Gaspe, Quebec City, the Montreal Expo\n(1967) and Olympics (1976).

Alberta #2.... LOL! Kidding right? \nThat would equate to Wyoming being the 2nd best place to live in the U.S. while having seasonal climate like Alaska without the mountains.\nAlberta's all good if you love 2 months of 'summer' known as 'Rodeo Season' followed by 10 months of sub arctic WINTER known as 'Hockey Season', wear only plaid shirts and jean jackets, accessorize your all denim wardrobe with a leather belt sporting a chrome buckle the size of a hubcap, your choice of footwear consists of hard and uncomfortable high heel boots with ridiculous pointed toes, wouldn't dare leave your home unless fully costumed like a casting extra in a B movie Spaghetti Western complete with a hat the size of bucket, while having dietary needs that are easily satisfied from both of the 2 known food groups of Beef or Wheat, and your 2 favourite 'cultural interests' are 'Country' & 'Western'. (Good luck trying to find a radio station that plays anything but)\n\nThe views are spectacular if you're keen on flat vast expanses of endless nothingness uninterupted by anything of interest other than petroleum industry related facilities, if that's your thing.\n\nBonus..... with the second largest indoor mall in North America... complete with waves and a beach so you never have to leave the province to go on vacation. Your kids can feign battle on a full size mock pirate ship or midget submarine, while Mom sip's pina colodas under a plastic palm tree beachside and watching shirtless cowboys wade ankle deep in the 'surf' while still wearing their 'Wrangler' branded jeans. Family content, Dad can strut down the mall concourse to find 'Whiskey Row' and select his favourite 'Saloon' to wile away the hours guzzlin' suds and swillin' whiskey to his hearts content, or until Mom's run off to get cowpoked and the kids are floatin' face down in an olympic sized wave pool with an artificial tropical south seas backdrop.\n\nNo worries about the future when Alberta's only industry of petroleum implodes. Alberta's plan B is to regain it's lost position of wheat exports now that the world has lost it's appetite for Russian toast. Your kids can look forward to lifetime employment of waiting for harvest while hanging out on a split rail fence sucking a wheat straw perpetualy held between their teeth until it's time to fire up the old John Deere tractor and drive straight lines for 40 days and 40 nights.\nSounds like Alberta's just short of heaven in the #2 ranked postion of best Provinces to live in Canada.

13. Iqaluit (not sure if I'm spelling this right. cold and expensive, whale blubber anyone?)\n12. Northwest Territories (just waaay too cold, wasteland)\n11. I enjoyed British Columbia. It was a beautiful place to visit from cruise ships from Alaska.

BC #1.... Not quite far enough away from Ontario, but Canada doesn't own Alaska, so...\nAlbeSaskiToba #9... the only people who know the difference between the three of them live in them.\nQuebec #10... Seriously, somebody needs to tell those Frogs they lost that war...

US is the third largest which they exclude Alaska and Hawaii.

Drew: but many states are set in warmer climates \n\nMinnesota Montana and Alaska: am I a joke to you
2020-04-11 0
USA is the 3rd largest if you count Alaska and Hawaii, but China is the third biggest without island so technically China is the third biggest country.
2020-04-09 0
I have been in both countries and like more the US, is more vibrant, funnier, you have bigger opportunities, the economy is more dynamic and you can literally find every single climate type across the US, from the Tundra in Alaska, to Jungles in Hawaii, to deserts in Arizona or even savanna by Florida.

I'm Alaska Native, was born in Alaska and raised in North Carolina. I've been racially profiled and racially stereotyped in both states. People telling me that I'm just a drunk bum that lives on the streets from both Alaskan people and people from North Carolina. I've also been followed in stores, malls and even libraries.

Canada has very strict laws regarding immigration, or even just passing through boarders , for example my wife and I are American and we live in Alaska however if you drive from anchorage Alaska to southeast Alaska you have to pass through a Canadian boarder, they didn’t even let my wife pass through because she had a DUI over 10 years ago and she had all her proper documents needed to pass through and no criminal record at all , it was just a DUI for crying out loud, and ps they Canadians are rude
