If Dump and his cronies and sycophants think Canada will bow down they are sorely mistaken. We would rather eat dirt than join the 4th Reich. And we will never forget this betrayal by the country that was once our closest ally and trading partner. We were fighting the Nazis two long years before America joined the war. We are a tough and resilient nation. Elbows up!

JIimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George Bush Sr, Bill Clinton, George Bush Jr, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, agree or disagree with them they never destroyed so much in their time in office. In My 50 years of life I have never seen such a diplomatic failure. Canada, UK, Australia and the Eu have been our closest allies since ww2 and Mr. Trump is his maga disciples are heading towards what the Soviet Union and the old Warsaw pact countries couldn't do in over 50 plus years. Canada Stand strong, France and the Eu Stand strong, UK and Australia nothing but love and respect from a disgusted American citizen. Hopefully democrats can flip the house or the senate in a couple years, or some republican senators will get some intestinal fortitude to at least stalemate the senate to turn the madman into an essential lame duck president. At the point no white house representation is better then what Trump has in store. President Zelesky all the respect in the world, you're what a leader should be, and hopefully your true world leader friends will stand for what's right. Love and respect and apologizes to Nato Eu Ukraine and Canada. A majority of Americans are absolutely disgusted by what this country has turned into.

Closest partner and ally allowed drugs and illegals to come across into the United States while at the same time disparaging their own citizens.\nConfiscate their property (guns), imprison them for free speech, freeze bank accounts, trample their rights. Yes, we all love Canada....

Oh Canada, most of US are so so sorry about this. You are our closest ally and neighbor and friend.
2025-03-04 0
Both Canada and Mexico have done everything to work together with U.S. - we are the 3 amigos and trade partners. I cant believe this is happening, hopefully it will all resolve each other. We are not enemies, we are the closest countries not only in geography, but in history, culture, and trade.

We stand by you Canada. Thank you Prime Minister Trudeau. Trump for no reason made a War at his closest Ally. What a Fool. Deport him to Russia.

As a Mexican, i hope that the TMEC between our countries is still in place, in spite of the US abandonment. US trade with Mexico in 2024 was 840 billion and with Canada 762 Billion. US is turning its back on its closest allies.

Canada won't back down at all they never did during the oppressive mandates they formed the trucker convoys and put a stop to that madness the U.S never did anything like that. Trump is just a terrible leader all he has done since in power is attack allies its not like he went after any of the people that were trying to get him convicted, this moronn as soon as he was voted into power he attacked Canada his closest ally ridiculous, I'm beginning to think Trump is an agent of some kind based on his actions so so retarded his actions.

How can Canada call us closest ally and true friend when they literally hate us and do anything to not let us into their country
2025-03-04 0
Canada, you've got Europe as your closest ally now. America has its constitution and its democracy to defend now. ????

Trump is insane and shame on him treating the best neighbour and closest friend Canada ??

As an American living abroad, it’s embarrassing to see my home country picking unnecessary fights with one of its closest allies. Slapping 25% tariffs on Canada—a country that has stood by the U.S. through wars, trade deals, and countless crises—isn’t just aggressive, it’s downright stupid. My family back home is already dealing with rising costs, and this kind of reckless economic policy only makes things worse. Tariffs aren’t paid by foreign countries; they’re paid by American consumers. Trump bragging about ‘punishing’ Canada is like punching your best friend in the face and then wondering why your hand hurts. Short-sighted, unnecessary, and ultimately self-destructive.
2025-03-04 0
Don’t talk about it be about it! We made our choice!! Canada ain’t never been our closest ally… you just live under the umbrella of our protect protection!! You have been putting 25% tariffs on us for decades now!! Play ball and games changed, but we’re not playing this woke liberal ideology anymore in case you haven’t got the memo!! and by the way, Justin Trudeau is corrupted, crooked and launder money himself

It’s never about fentanyl or migrants crossing at the borders. He is persuaded by Putin to end relationship with Canada, (the closest ally to US on geographical and trades) to ensure US will focus on developments with Russia only.
2025-03-04 0
I'm sorry, Canada. I don't have much, but tell me where I can help. We are the closest allies, and should be best of friends. Canda is beautiful, and the people are awesome, friendly and polite. I mean, Molson is not so good, but y'all are awesome. GOD BLESS CANADA. GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES.

lol Canada isn’t our closest friend. Trudeau is a commie. Wake up Canada
2025-03-04 0
Canada will say they are the closest friend, uk will saythe same thing, Israel will say the same who's the closest?
2025-03-04 0
This is lose-lose for everyone. Canada is the USA's closest neighbor and Ali. This is not about Fentanyl. This is about bullying.
2025-03-04 0
Insane we did this to our closest ally. Canada has had our back in every major war going back 100+ years and we treat them this way..Truly appalling
2025-03-04 0
Canada. albeit in a century long war with Denmark, Is the closest you can get to an american sensible ally.
2025-03-04 0
I don’t understand MAGa, Canada is your closest ally (literally) why are you punishing them? It makes no sense.
2025-03-04 0
CANADA was their closest friend .Past tense now.Awful disrespect of Canada by Trump.
2025-03-04 0
If trump uses the military to attack the USAs closest Allie for over 100 years, what will you say then? I will not become an American citizen, I will not bow to trumpty dumpty. Canada’s not for sale! ?? ?

Canada is going to lose its closest ally after they get kicked out of the 5 eyes due to being compromised by the CCP and triads.

Canada gets 40,000 to 80,000 year coming North\nWe tried last 10 years to stop it\n\n&\nMigrants fly to NYC take bus to local town closest to border, & than take can literally right to place where they cross into Canada\n\nNow because Pierre Poilievre is going to win our next election for our Conservative Party\nWho says in his election promises to close the border\n\nAs when one crosses into Canada illegally\n\nThey bypass our immigration & go thru our Court system\n\nUnder present Liberal govt\nAs they wait for court case\n\nSocial Services hooks them up with place to live\nMonthly welfare\n& even employment \n\nSo illegal migrants r going back South as they know when Conservatives win\nDeportations will be enforced like what is happening in U.S right now\n\nSanctuary cities is attracting them back into U.S. \n\nMany Independent Media covered going back to 2015\n\nRebel News\nDid several stories as well as others\n\nSo I guess I can only say\n\nHIW DOES IT FEEL !!\n\nCanada tried & tried to get American border guards to stop on ur end \n\nThis is result of in action by Biden/Trump & Justin Trudeau’s Lii is break govt

the Americans do not realize that they are losing their closest ally, indeed, Canada was perhaps more of a brother than an ally. This is much worse than tariffs
2025-02-02 0
canada and mexico are just whining. trump just want to share the american economic pain with his closest brothers and have equal fair trade. no one talk about the offers. they didn’t do the offer so they get hit with tariffs.

A cousin in NY is having his 1st super-bowl party. I told'm to forget it & go to his dad's house & watch it. He's got a generator,.. & Canada might decide to cut off all electrical power to the mid-west, New England & NY, a couple seconds after the opening kick off in N.O.! You don't need our resources Mr. pres? Then do without. You don't need the closest most secure trading route you'll ever have, & for unlimited natural resources. OK! There's a big world to trade with.

This is pure aggression by Maga sociopaths and billionaires geo political delusions, along with threats of 51 state.\nPanama,Greenland,Mexico. They are not kidding. The Maga clones in Canada, smith, moe,PP and every “ conservatives “ political party is pure Maga clones and bootlickers. They are not loyal to the country they’re loyal to their extremist maga ideology of hateful rhetoric and morally bankrupt ideology. Not to Canada, look at the response from PP and smith…disgraceful \nWe need political leadership that is Canadian not right wingnuts from Amerikkka. That means Maga.\nAmericans are our closest friends and allies…but Maga is a cancer on society and freedom, democracy and sane government,in America and damn sure in Canada…

Canada has been, and continues to be, their closest friends and trading partners. If this is what the Americans voted for, then we will not back down. Our history shows that while we are some of the most friendly peoples, we become some of the most feared opponents when called upon. We stand strong with our allies.

These aren’t asylum seekers you seek asylum in the closest country you don’t goto remote Canada which is half way around the world for most of the “asylum” seekers.

I lived on an alternating basis between Canada and Vermont USA. Vemont is the closest to Canada, in terms of experience.

One of my closest friends in 2nd gen Indian Canadian in his 30’s, and even he’s had enough of these immigrants coming into Canada and behaving badly because he doesn’t want to be associated with them simply because they look like him.\nWe’re hearing stories of these new immigrants pooping in public, acting incredibly misogynistic towards women, overcrowding rental spaces, sex trafficking women and girls for room and board, and now flooding into the US illegally on tourist visas to Canada, causing tension with the US. \nOn top of this, the Indian government has been enacting state sponsored assassinations on political dissidents in Canada, the US, and Europe, as well as buddying up to Russia which is a hostile criminal government adversarial to NATO countries. \nI’ve personally seen Canadians go from the most welcoming people on earth trying to bring in as many people as possible, becoming increasingly anti-immigration, at least towards India in particular. \nThere doesn’t seem to be the same hostility towards other nations of other ethnicities, so it’s not a racial issue, it is specifically targeted towards Indians because of the bad behaviour of those who’ve recently immigrated.

I lived in Canada when I was 5 years old. I don't remember much from when I was 5 years old but I remember the feeling of home Canada gave me. I was happiest in Canada and my family felt safe and grateful to be there. I left Canada in only a year though cause we went there to study English, and I was very sad because Canada was the best place ever for me. I've been to several countries but Canada always had me in love. I was planning on going back for college and living there, but when I realized the state Canada is now, I was heartbroken because it looked nothing like the amazing place I had lived in years back. I'm still very sad about this and I pray the Canada I used to know will be back one day so that I can return to the place that was the closest thing I've ever felt like home.

Wherever you go, I hope you can find the home you crave. I cannot believe the state that Canada is in, I always enjoyed the closest city to me (Lethbridge) and now it's starting to feel incredibly unsafe to even walk around in Downtown.

As a white Canadian who loves living in Canada because of how MY friends respect and invite all people of all colours in our lives - it breaks my heart to hear this.\nHER WARNING IS NO SURPRISE... I WOULDN'T EVEN WANT TO GO TO EDMONTON OR CALGARY (ALBERTA)... I consider it the Texas of Canada / very conservative in nature... like American Republicans. IF you want to live anywhere in Canada - be sure to land in provinces that are either Liberal and/or NDP in political attitude.\nI feel so bad for her and others - I hate this crap... and it has escalated since the Trump took the Presidency in 2016. \nAlberta is very much the closest thing to a American state that I hate to admit.\nPLEASE REMEMBER: there are sooo many of us that welcome you - Canada is full of every ethnicity and religion... but Edmonton, man - pick Ontario or Quebec. COSMOPOLITAN AND PROGRESSIVE.\nI would never want to live alongside Albertan Cowboys (sorry, Alberta - but relatively speaking...you must admit this is the case more-so than anywhere else in the TRUE NORTH)

i lived in Canada most of my life, visited Singapore twice, in my view it is the closest thing to a utopia in the world. I am curious to learn your perspectives on why you would want to leave Singapore and come to Canada, because though Canada is a developed country, it feels like a third world country a lot of the time due to all reasons you mentioned above.

A friend of mine in Wales??????? actually said it best that, in regards to military might and overall mentality, it could be said that the USA?? is the son closest to the father??. Canada?? is the well-behaved first born but the USA is the rebellious son more like the father in his prime (which the father hates to admit?).

Speaking as someone living in South Vancouver, here are two rules I live by:\n\n1) Never leave your bike outside for extended periods of time. Especially closer to a downtown area because it will get stolen. If thieves can't get through your lock, they'll just strip the bike everything that isn't locked down. It's actually very common to see just a bike frame locked to something while missing every other part. \n\n2) Don't go to downtown Vancouver as it's drug city. It's the one downtown area in metro Vancouver that I say has zero redeeming factors. All the other neighbouring cities are nice, with Richmond in my opinion being the best of the bunch, but downtown Vancouver? It's the closest experience to Seattle in Canada that you'll find.

Really True!! about( Acha Insan) I also learned it after coming in canada, but I found one bad person in canada who ruined my life in buying my first property in canada ? . A advice to you guys never trust blindly to a person who is most closest to you while making financial decision.

Canada is a beautiful country in the summer but I've been in nicer countries and cities in Europe. After living in Germany for a few years as a child I struggled to find anywhere in Canada that even compares, and the closest I came was southern BC where you pay a premium to live in a relatively nice climate that most people around the world take for granted. That's not even getting into how Victorian Canadian culture feels compared to Europe.

This is something that could really help my industry if that 65,000 was raised. Everybody knows aviation is a tight industry, and with a massive labor shortage. The flight school I attend is half immigrants, mostly Japanese and Korean with a moderate minority of Europeans and Africans. The Asian students are for the most part wanting to stay in the US, despite not coming from poor nations. The opportunity for a pilot here is leagues above anywhere else bar Europe, but most will likely not even be able to maintain a work visa, let alone a green card. This also means (as pointed out) that leaving the country is hard, and they would only be allowed to fly domestic flights within the country (no flying to Canada). The issues that these highly qualified pilots could solve by being allowed to work in the US airline industry are inconceivable.\n\nIt took my mum (I was born British-American) took 9 years to become a US citizen, I was there for her first swearing in, and the UK is America’s closest ally. Imagine how difficult it is for immigrants not of such nationality.
2023-07-27 0
That’s a hard no. Not even maybe. Having travelled to the US many times, I always felt like I was stepping back into the 1960’s. They have fallen so far behind, they think they’re in front. Culturally, Canada is much more similar to Europe than our geographically closest neighbour. Several of my friends have lived in the US, but all moved back because they felt their children were not being educated to a standard they would have been in Canada.
2023-07-17 0
I've only ever lived in Canada, but have been to many parts of the US, and my honest answer is: probably not. Don't get me wrong, there are many places and things in and about the US that I like, but, unless I was offered a job that was too good to turn down, I don't think I could ever live there. One of my closest friends is American, and lives only a few short hours away, but...Possible exceptions would be places like Maine or Vermont. I've read a stat numerous times over the years, that there about as many people in the US who cannot afford health insurance than there are people in all of Canada. It's a shame because the USA has top tier medical facilities, but access is not guaranteed.\n\nPS: from a Canadian perspective, I really enjoy your honest reactions, and applaud your efforts to educate yourself. Cheers from Vancouver, BC.

Nice video, yet I find that you talk a lot about number differences with the USA and other countries and fail to explain how these differences are lived inside Canada. \n\nAfter lockdowns, I left the urban centres of the Quebec-Windsor corridor to settle in maritime Canada, and life here is very unique. \n\nFog, snow, rain, winds, ice, fires, every thing is very local. The closest chain restaurant like Tim Hortons is more than 1hour away by car. Anyday the roads can be closed, the ferries cancelled, isolating tens of thousands of people. Although most Canadians live in large urban centres, and don't have to deal with these issues, there is still a large population living in radically isolated areas.
