I agree and appreciate your constructive approach to this issue. It would of been easy to play the race card the whole video. I can tell you that it goes both ways here with this issue. It is not right to put good and bad apples in one basket, the bad stands out here more than the good.\nI came from an area of very few Indians and been living in an area of high immigration for many years, so I came from a place of no prejudices. Not separate yourselves, segregating others based on predjudices, and sticking to what you are familiar with back home. You came for a better life, but live the same as the past. It is like a marriage where one has to always take into account your partner's point of view, making compromises along the way for both partners, not exploiting the other's weakness, or disrespecting their views.\nThe government caused this issue to come more to the forefront in recent years by ramping up immigration numbers and putting pressure on the system. Canadians have now had enough. We have lost our culture, and feel like the minority in a country where we paid into the social systems all our lives, only to get little benefits, just more taxes, and see those systems being abused. Immigration numbers seem a problem because of pathetic macro economic and infrastructure mismanagement. Check crime stats and you'll see the Indian community performing way better (as in less crimes) than many others.

As a Canadian born here, I think the foreign students are the tip of the iceberg. We also have to consider people that came in, and still do illegally including a criminal element. We also have a weak government that brings in folks from war torn countries, and they are not always that countries best people. Look at the Palestinian situation right now, where Most other Arab countries do not want these people entering their countries. We have to ask ourselves why that is, and is it good for Canada to bring in people where the entire Arab world says Nope! I think the entire situation in Israel and Gaza is terrible, and at the same time with some groups even the Children are raised to Hate and or be Violent. They can’t figure out this is NOT Israel, and there are no wars in Canada currently. However if they continue down this path of Hate and violence, Canada could become another battle ground. WHERE are municipal politicians supposedly limiting the construction of homes? I don’t see it. \n\nWe are aware that there are regulations in place to protect buyers and that self-serving industries lobby to do away with, as those protective regulations can reduce profits. Some provincial governments (like Alberta) are highly sympathetic to lobbies and industries, to the detriment of citizens. \nWhy are you not pointing to the fact that successive federal governments of the past stopped funding the construction of lower cost housing (thereby creating more demand AND our number one problem of unmitigated greed throughout the real estate and home building industries? We have some people in government attempting to get more low cost homes built while industries know that they can make more money building houses that are far, far bigger than people NEED. Dumbasses and keep-up-the-Jones folks unwisely buy these homes and then many of them have difficulty affording a lifestyle that they think they are entitled to. Meanwhile, lower income earners have been priced right out the market. Of course, capitalists and real estate investors like Pierre Poilievre will never admit that these are our actual problems.
