They destroyed the country. You cannot even afford to rent an apartment or even move around for a job. If you leave Toronto for a contract job outside of the city and move somewhere else for a little while, you will be homeless when you come back. To we are pretty much screwed in every moving around to try and gain experience to get ahead. And there are profession where you have to move outside of the GTA to get experience. Canadian students can barely get a entry level job with a two year diploma, yet they allow International students to study things like a 2 year diploma in Business, which no one can ever get a job with, and on top of that, they told them they can apply to become permanent resident . How does that even make any sense? Does any politician in this country have two working brain cells? I'm so sick of this country, I desperately want to leave ...I'm a immigrant and my parents came here in the glory days of the 70s, where people from other English speaking countries were given priority and were expected to fully integrate into Canadian society

Consists of literally sharing its only common border with the united states would mean a complete scrap of the total infrastructure since they would hace then compensate through sea and air through the arctic and distances of 10x of what they are used to. I am a Canadian. We do not want conflict with USA. What we want is for our new leader to be voted in - and then work things out for trade. President Trump is aware of what we have suffered. Canada has stood firm.....the truckers in our capital....brought a siege all over the world for freedom. I do not want the tariffs.....that will hurt us both. I effectively spent a chunk of my childhood in America with relatives. I treasured these memories, but now all the feelings of wonder and happiness when thinking of my visits to America have faded. As a Canadian citizen I have always admired the US up until now, I sincerely wanted to move to the US to build homes and start up a company. But now am re-evaluating my decision because if this how the US treats their friends and allies, I really feel sad for their enemies. Both countries benefited from having a good relationship and now the great US has no one willing to challenge Mr Trump on this idiotic move, America is alienating themselves from a lot of countries and regular Americans are the ones who are going to suffer from this fall-out, the rich won't be affected but regular working class folks your stress is going to get a whole lot worse and that's unfortunate. Canada has known for decades that we have put too many eggs in one basket - selling our resources primarily to the USA. We've had tariffs before and worked with them. Yet we still keep selling to the USA. This time is different. In conjunction with the tariffs, we have an American administration that is flat out insulting Canada. Saying we wouldn't exist economically if it wasn't for the USA. It's at a time when the USA won't promise not to use military force to annex land (Greenland) from a decades old ally. A time when clearly Putin is calling in his chips for whatever he has over Donald Trump. Canadians have had enough. We are directing our governments, provincial and federal, to finally, finally break from the north-south trade links. We need to establish stronger east-west trade links. The resources we have are wanted by many countries if the USA does not want them. It does mean much work within Canada. We need to get our AB-BC pipeline finished as well as the new sea terminal so we can ship our crude oil and natural gas to Japan and if need be, to China. We finally need to get out pipeline to the Atlantic coast finished so we can supply the UK and EU with our products. We need to double our rail capacity for shipping potash, uranium, rare minerals to Asia or Europe. Just as Trump hopes for a golden age of American companies coming home and building new plants in the USA, this will be a golden decade for Canada to create transportation corridors to get our resources to other buyers. America will have to look elsewhere for his raw materials. And we all know what that is - RUSSIA. They've already offered their rare minerals and crude oil. This is all clearly a well thought out scenario from the people working behind Trump to dismiss America's allies and trading partners - have us turn against the USA - as the excuse to open the door to Russian imports into the USA.

The ChiComs, working with their Liberal minions, have made sure that any election will be rigged. Trump is trying to save Canada because he will send Troops into Canada to eject the Chinese military. Trudeau admitted that without the welfare the USA has been providing to Canada, your economy will collapse. The Bank of Canada is bankrupt. The Canadian dollar is about to collapse. How will you feel next year when you need two dollars to buy what one dollar buys now? And plan on having fewer dollars to start with because your carbon tax, your sales tax, your income tax are all going up. WAY up. This is what happens when you decide to compete with a USA that is unshackled. The USA can produce more of our own oil than we can use, and we will sell the extra to YOUR foreign customers cheaper than you can produce it. Then you will be BEGGING for a pipeline. So Trump invited Canada to become a member of the most successful and powerful union of sovereign states in history, something that even our own territories of Guam, Puerto Rico, and all the others do not have. An invitation to be a bona fide member. Why do you think that is? Minerals? The USA has all the minerals we need. We have more oil, coal, and natural gas than any nation also, and we can produce and refine it cheaper than any country can. As an American, I've been trying to work out in Alberta as a Pipe Insulator for over five years with no response, but you guys let in other foreign nations. How about you give the people in the US citizenship if we are seeking refuge.
