I am a Canadian living in the states and, Living very good off of what I get from the states for I have not worked in 27 years because of an injury. Their relationships with allies and friends, North and South, have been strained, global allies have grown skeptical of the United States, and everywhere the US has given away its soft power, a vacuum was created that will now be filled with China or Russian influence. Every enemy of the US longed for this moment, and Donald Trump and JD Vance handed them this unnecessary win. America is past the point of no return; No one will come to help and rescue their most vulnerable. From this moment on, turning this around depends on every American in opposition to tyranny, abuse, and dictatorial leadership.

Interesting. So it sounds like Canada just started last year with stopping drugs from coming over the border...remind me, how long have drugs been coming across? Bluff called, Canada, you were abusing the United States, until Trump came around...shame on you, too late. And like he said, this will be tough. But drugs stay out, child trafficking stays out.

We all have to work together and if we accomplish that we can do anything why do we need to be greedy at first will start with us and then every everybody else will fall in line that’s why we have peace, treaties, and peace talks, and the UN so they can see how the United States are willing partner that’s gonna help and do the right thing They look at us for that now we have a president doesn’t care and he wants to make sure everybody thinks that we think like that no, we don’t think like that please get it together before the most high come down and get it together for you if you don’t know what you’re doing because he trusted you with usthe American people?

We know why HE is doing this. He is pushing an imperialistic agenda, so he can be like those he admires. He's hoping that Canada will bend at the knee and give in so that he can claim Canada as a 51st state. But guess what? That won't happen. He's just doing himself and his country harm. He doesn't care about you, or me, or us as two countries that have always worked together. But we are setting up border security to keep American drugs, and weapons, and illegal migrants from coming into Canada. We're going to have to survive by reverting our trade to elsewhere, to depend on ourselves, to boycott U.S. products. We may be nice, but we are also tough. We love our society, our democracy, and our benefits. We won't give that up. Growing up, I lived in South Western Ontario, I used to go back and forth from Canada to the U.S. with no issues. Now, I'm sad to say, I won't ever be going to the U.S. again. Let's all hope for a brighter future for both countries.

Two things come to mind after hearing about all this stuff. Why you go on live TV and waste your time when you could attempt to talk it out with the American government? Also, if the United States is posing a 25% tariff in Canada is doing the exact same thing isn't it more or less a wash?
