We aren't turning against immigrants...we are turning against a group of poorly behaved entitled ppl. Its bc every time we speak up. They call us racist and Islamophobic. I for one am done. Those words have been used so much that they no longer hold the power They used to. Let them call us what they want. It is time for us to take our country back and make it clear that this crappy behavior will NEVER BE OK. 🤬

Because they are not trying to fit in to our society and they are causing problems for the neighbors. They receive more than born Canadians and are given jobs here over Canadians. In my apartment building they don't like to be told to stop causing noise disturbances, in fact it even gets worse when they have been asked to stop. Some of the tenants " Newcomers " seem to think they can operate a business in the apartment which means they use excessive noise to build whatever they are building. Once they have been asked to stop by other tenants and given notices they then decide to retaliate by causing further noise which is deliberately to disturb the rest of us. They try to intimidate people that they know are born Canadians like some kind of gang members. We no longer feel safe in our own homes and neighborhoods. We are tired of them using the race card for every problem they have which is usually something they caused in the first place. In this particular building on Queen st. N. in Hamilton they cause trouble in multiple different apartments which they attend. Once they have been asked to stop causing noise in one apartment they just go to one of the others and then proceed to do the same thing there. Some of the newcomers have been given more than one apartment in the same building and therefore run back and forth between those apartments and slam the door of each one over and over all day long. The management has been informed hundreds of times for a number of years and yet they have not yet dealt with the issues. There is an ongoing record of so many incidents in this building which the management has not addressed beyond a blanket notice to all tenants regarding noise complaints. The manager says things like " It's a process " and yet there seems to be no results. Is management afraid to just simply evict the trouble makers ??

writhe people want 35 dollars by h jobs, government want taxes to pay old populations on retirement, abusive landlords want 2600$ dollars monthly rent. i never hear an immigrant complaining. they all succeeded. Is very rare to se immigrants become drug addicts and homeless. That's reserved for the native and the white people. But they complain every day without looking to the mirrors 🪞. Immigrants keep Canada running. More you spend time complaining, more time you will be poor. immigrant succeed even with a 17 $ by h living in a 500$ room after 3 or 5 years they all have houses, nice cars, business and investment i the country. why local can not do it even whit a university degree? Because they are not strong to go work double shifts if need it. Why to buy a 1 million dollars house if you can not even eat correctly every day. The problem is that people live like king and they blame others like the new Inmigrants for their own choices. Have a humble life, respect everyone. And I promise you will succeed.

Good the more immigrants that leave the better it will be for Canada they come here for a better life for safety for this for that they're all set up by the government giving houses cars don't have to worry about nothing it's all provided for them through the taxpayers money well the real Canadians are living out on the streets and eating out of garbage bins I don't have a bed or a roof over their heads due to the immigrants coming into our country then they come into our country in protest terrorist actions destroy our buildings are statues our churches block our streets hospitals shopping malls an etcetera they disrespect our rules and regulations and think they can voice their opinion on everything and get away with it they come here most of them with a green card as a visitor from another land overseas and yes they think they're a real Canadian but never contribute never done nothing for the country but just take from the real Canadians that made the country to what it is today and it's all government doing before they give a house or car or anything that they get the immigrants get if you're standing alongside of one peppermint will give it to the immigrant faster than what they'll give to a real Canadian they're more or less told to sleep on the streets and eat out of garbage bins because he's immigrants deserve nothing but the best in our country we have to show them that they are welcomed no they're not welcome anymore Canadian should come first not somebody that came in on a boat or an airplane from another country and overseas it's a government can't look after their own then they shouldn't be in the government because our prime minister is supposed to be protecting the real Canadians not the ones that are coming in over our borders I wonder if that's ever going to change probably not because they still need these foreigners votes just stay in the position where they're at Canada has become a very undeveloped country now in Canada has been put into a lot of danger due to the terrorism that's in our country from the people that they bought in our country from overseas I mean just look at all the protesting from the palestines and Hamas people what they've done so far to Canada we see it on the news just about every day ask for their rights anyways I can keep going on but it's not worth my time tomorrow is never promised it's just that I know Canada is sinking and sinking fast due to our government and their policies but when it sinks do you think the government's going to stand on board and go down with the ship nope I'll be in another country safe and sound

Canadians have a real deep down patriotism. We don't scream our country's name at every event, wrap ourselves in our flag, etc. But we adore our country, it's the way best in this big complicated world. We don't feel we must say it all the time because we KNOW it.

My husband and I were both immigrants to Canada, he from S. Africa, I from the UK. I never experienced any discrimination. My busband was diagnosed with late stage bone cancer at 31 years old. The medical care was so good that he lived another 6 mostly happy years. We were supported by the Ontario Health Care system with visiting nurses, even housekeepers and received every help we could possibly need, at no cost to us. I will always be grateful for the love and support we received from Canadian friends, employers and the medical professionals. What a country! I am in Europe now but feel strongly that Canada, the EU, Britain, the wonderful Ukrainians (I know quite a few refugees) and other countries of good will should work together for a better world. We are a family and families support each other in difficult times. Americans welcome when they are ready.

I think we need to give it time. In a year or two picture should be clear. I don't think tariffs are necessary a bad thing long term if they spike more production of everything or at list anything in US. Short term it would be painful for everybody tho. We become a country of no production. Only consumption is not healthy. It is how every empire behaves on a last breath. Look back in history. Rom, Spain etc.Sooner or later we wouldn't be able to exchange worthless green paper to goods anymore outside of the country unable to produce anything inside the country and we die. I effectively spent a chunk of my childhood in America with relatives. I treasured these memories, but now all the feelings of wonder and happiness when thinking of my visits to America have faded. Let's not forget that the USA has only ever won one war on its own. The American Civil War! As an American. I don't think it was a good thing to bully other countries, especially allies and neighbors. There are other diplomatic ways to do things. I am not left or right, but I felt like Obama and Clinton had better ways with international relationships. I know our leader are trying to do their best for us Americans, and well we have been helping other countries for decades. Maybe, it is time that other countries start paying us back. I don't know why every move has to be on the media though? Especially the bullying with Zelensky? They could have talked over it without showing it to the whole world. What do yo guys think? This has been the low point in our country. I know there were other times in our history when the people didn't understand or not agree with the president, but every single time the president would explain to the people why he did what he did just like any person in that capacity. I have been on this Earth for over 65 years and this is the first time that I am appalled at what this idiot is doing. I cannot believe that over 50% of voters elected this buffoon all because they believed his idiotic campaign promises! Any normal minded individual knew as soon as he said these things that if he is elected, we were going to be in big trouble.

Some advice to the US for the future: next time you elect a president, vet him/her for mental illness in every way aspect of life, well in advance. \nLook at how Japan vets everyone prior to even owning a simple gun.!!! Just saying!

As a European I must agree with Wesley Clark. Things have changed a lot since he took office. Most people here sees the US more as an enemy than an allied now! All these years US has a trade deficit of 1 trillion dollars every year. With tariffs we could have recovered 250 billion every year. That is a lot of money. Currently every American owes $110,000 because of the accumulated debt of 36.5 trillion.\n\nJustin, how long are we supposed to bend back wards while US has a trade deficit of trillion dollar over the past 20 years. Why cant to you balance the imports and exports so that you don't have to keep taking advantage of USA. CNN did not see the trade deficit every single year for 20 years? what are they talking about? If tariffs were there in 2024, US would have gotten back 15 billion dollar revenue from Canada and Mexico would have paid 46 billion to USA. All this time, this was affecting only Americans and while you are enjoying not paying for your share, you have made US pay by taking loans to pay for the imports increasing our Debt. Yes it has been hurting America for the past 20 years, otherwise how did we accumulate 36.5 trillion debt.\n\nLike Justin said, if Canada can survive while paying 15 billion to USA, of course USA will do fine while collecting the 15 billion from Canada and 46 billion form Mexico. I would say this will be viewed either as one of the smartest political moves by a U.S president, or perhaps one of the dumbest. Time will tell. There was one line that has me more worried than any of them. “No matter what it costs we the federal government will be there for you.” Every time the government prints money and distributes it they decrease the value of our dollar. Canada's Tariff applied to the United States will cause some price inflation, price increase, for a short time until the United states establish compaines to produce the same good and services that were tariffed. Once goods and service producted by the United States exceeds the Canadian goods and services that were tarriffed, the prices will come down. President Donald Trump did this to grow United States and Employment and cause price deflation over the long term. Hopefully Canada has the resources to do the same. President Trump can forgive Zelenskyy, but he should NEVER forgive Justin Trudeau, he’s the one who opened up the Northern Border and let all these millions of Illegal Indian nationals to the country! Also another major abuse, which gets unnoticed, is the TN (Trade Nafta) visa, every year nearly 50,000 Canadians (mostly, 95% Indians) moves to America and steal high paid American jobs. It’s high time to stop this abuse, Indians are using this short route to immigrate to the US, high time to put an end to it!

The US isn't launching a trade war against anyone. We are closing up shop and are getting ready to take care of our own. There is a massive difference. We cannot be expected to continue supporting other countries economies and defense obligations, when we have 2 generations of working class citizens unable to afford a home or have children. We have entire countries we could fill with the homeless and incarcerated, and veterans who see little to no positive treatment or respect within the job market. Things are already very very bad here in the states. I don't think many Americans realize how bad the economy is. Tariffs will force US companies to reduce the outsourcing of jobs, and force other countries who are over-reliant on trade from the States, to cultivate their own self-sufficiency. This may seem hypocritical when it comes to China, but that isn't a problem you can solve overnight. \n\nTo make it clear, Americans are going to suffer in the wake of this tariff decision, but that is the price we pay to force ourselves to change. We have made ourselves into a very weak country because of overreliance on other countries trade, and other countries overreliance on our intelligence, infrastructure, medical advancements, technological advancements, and defense capabilities. The american consumer and taxpayer front the bills for all of this, and they are suffering. This isn't a war on the rest of the world. It us telling everyone else that we can no longer be relied upon because we are weak. \n\nI didnt' even vote Trump the first two times he ran. But things have now gotten so bad that I was forced into voting for him this time. Why? Because he's a bull in a china shop. I expect him to tear every damn thing apart he can within our government. I'm doing ongoing research to cease any spend on any US product or service. I'm buying software from Europe, using Posteo for email, deGoogling this year and vastly reducing Youtube. I trace all groceries to eliminate anything US sourced and I now check that products are Mexican and Canadian as much as I'm able and they are supplying. I've stopped planning trips to LA and NYC, I might resume if American voters ever have the good sense to vote en masse against obviously fascist plans and personalities. I've holidayed in Mexico three times and would visit Canada and Europe in future. US is not safe for everyone any longer, not even its citizens and looks to be getting increasingly insecure and offering prosperity only to the already mega rich through crooked policies and agencies. Every week or two I double check the facts on groceries and online products/services to make sure I'm not accidentally buying American. The election was so compromised in November I'm glad people are realising the only action we can take is with our wallets from not logging in to 'big tech' to buying bread and apples etc.

In the long run America will be 10 times stronger in every aspect as long as we don’t complain about the short term cost. Yes poor and rich alike. Have faith in trump he is a great man for America. Let’s stick it out till America makes everything we Americans need to prosper??
