America's economy was a juggernaut the day before Trump and his greedy band of thieves took over, and our strength was in our alliances with Canada, Mexico, and Europe. Our moral strength was in our unwavering support of Ukraine and opposition to Russia. In barely a month Trump has undermined and destroyed all the trust previous administrations (aside from his own) had built. By trying to rob our allies blind and turn the US into a kleptocracy, Trump is destroying the economy and our standing in the world at record pace. Maybe irreversibly.

This is not about tariffs. It is about Trump unravelling all of America's relationships with its allies, to make the country weaker, in the service of Putin. Canada is just the first. But Europe will be next. Then America stands alone, too weak to be a world leader.

What has Canada and European countries done to actually try and end the death and destruction from this war? Europe buys energy from Russia, and Canada is only giving 650 million dollars in weapons over three years, while America has supplied hundreds of billions of dollars in aid and military equipment. Zelensky goes around the world dressed in a military outfit with no desire to stop the slaughter of humans on both sides. There have been thousands of wars where, eventually, one side has to accept the reality that they can not win, Zelensky is unwilling to see this. What would be interesting to know is how trade between Canada and Europe explodes, Europe would like all the oil and gas and rare earthminerals Canada has, so would China, if for nothing other than to prevent Americas access to it. As a Dutch European who was going on holiday to the States which i cancelled and re-booked to Canada ( and so did my travel companions ) i do stand with Canada and would rather spend my money there now ( the least i can do for what they did for us, no matter how little, every little bit helps ) Sorry to the good Americans, but i will not spend one cent in America or on\n American goods for as long as that Dictator is in power.
