Ohhh if it was her own child I’m sure she wouldn’t be saying that’s ok.., there are many like her out there. They get those papers and they think they work for the White House. If she would’ve visited Mexico and had a kid while visiting and didn’t have the money for a green card it would have been a completely different situation. For those just because you got your papers do you not think that there are people that came here as infants or kids to immigrant parents that came to work to provide for their kids it’s not that easy to get your green card it cost thousands of dollars. Many immigrants that I know and worked with including myself, I came here as a refugee. Immigrants are the hardest working people I know. Unfortunately a lot of the ones that came here as kids grew up in some neighborhoods that are not so great and mainly are kids that were born here that are in gangs or doing drugs or violent so don’t blame immigrants saying they bring all this with them it was already here … drugs gangs violence was already here. Then they say they are taking all the jobs.. the jobs have always been here but people that are citizens are too lazy to go get jobs or keep jobs ( not all citizens) but the ones that are complaining immigrants usually come from villages without any media or drugs or gangs ect. They simply come here for better opportunities or for jobs. It’s all a corporate governmental banking and human trafficking scam. Every person the government brings in, the government can borrow from the bank in the form of a bond! Once your visa expires, then you have to leave. And the company that brokered you to get you here requires a fee, plus they get a fee from the government as well. And the company that hires you gets a subsidy from the government. The company won’t tell you that there are limited jobs or housing. They won’t tell you that you can’t use your degree if you have one, when you come here. You have to go threw all the associations and organizations to be qualified to practice your trade.And that costs more money! Back in the 70’s and 80’s people came from many other countries, and within a week or so, you’d have money in your pocket from working a basic job. Now once you get off the plane, you are at least over $40.000 in debt. Your education cost double, housing is limited and expensive along with the hi cost of food and fuel for that expensive used car. Then you find out that you’ve been lied too by the brokers that got you here. And soon as you get your landed status, you get hit with the taxes! And if you have any children during your 5 years, the government tells you that you have to register them, so the government can create another bond, so they can borrow more money from the bank! The government gives you a birth certificate, but they own your children until you go to a court of law to get a certificate of custody! Because if you decide to leave after getting your landed status, the government may not allow you to take your children with you! Look up family court and custody law, once you get here, the government manages you on behalf of those who own you! You need to look it up for yourselves and understand that any western country that you goto is ruled by Rome. And if you came from a country that was once a colony of the British empire, you will get here a little easier, it’s a simple transfer because they have your record on file in the city of London. The place that is 1 square mile within London itself! That place that Rome controls! Yes! It’s a big scam and you are the product!

That's 14 MILLION LESS VOTES. Really? Who she was running against to JESUS? A RED WAVE? Maybe if Democrats and Indenpent were so upset with Obama. How many part-time jobs do they expect these people to work to pay for rent? Finding a full-time job is almost impossible. Coming to Canada exspecting the country to look after them? The companies take hours away from their employees and create another part-time position, then gets a bonus from the government as part of the new employee wages are paid. Same hours for the company but paying less wages and keeping the profits. Who is does this benefit? Not the workers that then need another part-time job to feed their kids. Filling up schools with people who do not met the education requirements with bogus paperwork. Who are then forced to attend a strip mall schools. Are their diplomas even valid? No proper place to live and using foodbanks. Anyone with this paperwork should be refused at airport not supported. Most are coming from counties that have schools. Because really would you want them managing your money, running the country or are they going to work at Tim Hortons? No wait their fellow countrymen will then use them in scams. The grass is always greener. We are not the US thank god. Greed over benefits over better education and in general a greater social safety net. So within the last 30 years roughly 500 million Indians were born. Now they all are adults looking for some way to survive. Even 10% or 50 million Indian migrating all around the world is significant. Since most Indians sell everything they have, or take out a loan, in order to go abroad and earn money to help their family - they arrive poor in a high cost of living country. Poor people can't afford big cities - it's cheaper in small towns. So if 200,000 Indians go to a small town to survive....well, you'll see them everywhere, surrounding you, and there is no escape.\nThis is how India will take slowly over every small town, and eventually big cities. Just slow unstoppable migration to every country, every continent. They are legion. I call it Indianification. Every country will become another India.

People have to understand that no international student would take hefty loans to fly half way around the planet and spend $17000-20000 per semester to study! There ain't no Oxford or Cambridge level university in Canada. The government knows this. The government found easy influx of money, and looked at international students as cash cows for a long long time. Representatives from public universities go to other countries to invite more students. The whole system was rigged to extract money. Circumstances are such that everybody will blame the students, but none will focus on the root cause. The top bosses have filled their pockets and bought lavish properties in GTA and the States. Now, they can close those colleges and universities.

Canada is not taking advantage of population increase. See in another perspective, if Canada improves their high speed trains and buses, more people will visit more places, dying mining cities will revive etc. If you can reach within one to two hours from far cities, people working in Toronto will look for far places to live. Regarding Brampton, our councillors don't know what is needed for this City. Go and check Kennedy Road from Queen Street to Steel. There is no development. No university in Brampton. Easy to complain. But there is lot development needed in Brampton.

Not so acurate information. During the college time students can work only 20h/week. Unless it has changed. \n\nAlso, it’s IMPOSSIBLE to get permanent residency before graduation because you need Canadian experience (full time) for at least 1 year in specialized areas. \n\nOnly if you successfully complete your program you get the full time work visa per 3y. In this time it’s going to be possible TO APPLY for permanent residence. \n\nBut not only that. Canadian experience give you extra points in the immigration program, but also a Bachelor’s degree, or a master degree, work experience in your back country, English level, and age. \n\nI don’t know for certain countries if the rules are different, but as long as I know, it’s the same for everybody. \n\nWhen I came as an international student, I had to prove the college was paid, also show I had enough money to support myself for 1y without work. Also, the program at college that costs $4000/semester for a Canadian student, it costs $8-10.000 for an international student. \n\nMy work visa (during college) allowed me 20h per week working only. \n\nTo get my study visa approved I had to show intermediate English, money, work experience, Bachelor’s degree (I have also a master’s), and explain why I wanted to study in Canada and why that program was related to my current career. \n\nTalking about jobs; I have worked as a housekeeper in a hospital (on weekends). After I graduated I became supervisor. \n\nSome people complain about students and immigrants getting the jobs, but what I’ve seen was a lot of people complaining EVERY DAY about their jobs, about their lives, etc…but doing absolutely nothing to change it.\n\nI got here as a student, I became immigrant, I worked as a cleaner, I graduated at college.after 2y working full time I got the permanent residence, and I was back to school. \nI got a Master’s degree at McMaster University, and now I am a manager in a big hospital. \nImmigrants taking the jobs??? I look at faces in cars and all I notice are an abundance of East Indian, here in Halifax, do the test yourself, seams like every second vehicle, Go to Mall, go to the Park all I’m seeing is East Indian, these people are not compatible with the natural born Canadians. Just remember that a lot of people have a before and after view. Back in the day a school photo looked like a meeting of every country and now in some areas, those photos look like one country only. My point is that people grew up in a multicultural environment. Very rarely did one group have so much impact with so few people in such a short time. The long and short of it is stop driving like an entitled @$$, mow the lawn, don't be the loudest people, don't crowd, have large gatherings in public areas where you take over some place so that nobody can use it. Some people just want to get in, get their stuff and go home. I understand that the 2 countries in the world with the largest population like to be very sociable and crowd together, but neither of the two groups want to follow rules, laws or be considerate of other people. It's all about them and how they want to live. Imagine you've been paying taxes and following the laws and being considerate of other your whole life and someone coming to the country and making no effort to behave.

Dont cut immigration down.....tell me how did Indian intl student makes up about more than 80% out of all international students. Why didnt the government put a cap or a stop specifically just for Indian people? Why didnt the immigration look deep before giving student visa just like a snap of a finger and see if they can support themselve for school and living expense. \n\nI am an immigrant myself but when i decided to come to canada as a student. I made sure i had enough funds to sustain myself here in canada for 2 years until i can get my work permit then a head to PR. Nowdays I see a lot of international Students get access or abusing goverment facilities and benefits for which not entitle for them but Canadian residence only (PR or Canadian Citizen). I never ask for Cerb when covid happen, never ask food bank my part time job can fullfill that, paid my fare for using transportation, paid my rents and utilities on time and paid my credit cards. Lastly i never complaint focus on my study and I get good high paying jobs. I am proud to contribute to Canadian Economy as an Immigrant.\n\nThe question is are they doing the same? If you cannot sustain yourself dont add your burden to the country. We (Canadian Residence) paid heavy taxes from our sweat to cover ur burden and debt. Canada is one of the best countries, I agree there are few downfalls, but on the other hand you can’t even in judge a book by just looking at it’s cover. If you are well educated, this country is the best to live in. Canada has already made their immigration policies stern, and are not welcoming everyone now. Do you think Indian politicians are doing good to keep India safe according to their duties? Don’t you think India has a drug problem too? Apply for a visa and come here, you’ll see many people settled, enjoying their life here. People have to face struggles when you move to a new country, it takes time. Canada in one of the most diverse country, go to a school here, they celebrate and acknowledge different cultures and teach about them. I think Indian are well settled and living luxurious life here.

I don’t want to be squeezing by you \n\n- Taking off their backpack while standing on the bus and putting it between their legs\n\n- Moving to the back of the bus instead of crowding by the doors\n\n- Standing in lines to get onto the bus instead of crowding\n\n- Not littering. Either put your garbage in the bin or take it with you. Stop leaving it on the beach or on hiking trails.\n\n- Learn about hiking before attempting it. We have people going up in jeans and flip flops in the evening and getting stuck on mountains or injured. Some wear running shoes but they don’t have enough traction for the trail\n\n- Shovel the sidewalk in front of your home when it snows\n\n- Stop dousing yourself with axe body spray. \n\n- Understand that Indian food makes your clothes smell. It gives off oils that get stuck in everything. Open your windows and doors when cooking to minimize this as much as possible. You won’t be able to resolve this entirely but do what you can. The skytrain now smells like Indian food even when empty. \n\n- Stop riding your bikes and scooters on the sidewalk. It’s illegal and you have a responsibility to learn the rules \n\n- Stop hiring everybody that you know. Before nepotism was all about networking, but nowadays, it seems to be about hiring Indian people that you know. I am being discriminated by employers because they think I will do the same once I am in. Diversity in teams matters. Indian immigrants don’t seem to believe in this and think all that matters is the most qualified get the job. This is how you end up building facial recognition models that don’t recognize Black people. \n\n- You work at McDonald’s. Stop blasting Indian music. The McDonald’s by my place is blasting Indian music from the back and it overtakes the restaurant music. \n\n- In a work environment, even if it is all Indians, speak English. You ostracize your fellow colleagues and customers. You are also not improving your English skills by speaking in your primary language.\n\n- Make an effort to make non-Indian friends. It’s really intimidating even as an Indian to see large packs of Indian men\n\n- Learn how to swim. Every year we have multiple drownings at a lake because Indian people are unprepared for the reality of the water. This is a basic safety skill.\n\n- Stop staring at women. Even as an Indian woman I get stared at by these guys. Just stop. \n\n- Get headphones. Playing music or having conversations on speakerphone in public places is rude and very inconsiderate of others \n\n- Stop cheating. Whether that’s cheating the system or during classes. We grow up here and environment that even though we can cheat, the culture makes it completely unethical and you just don’t. The consequences are significant. I get it that you come from a country that doesn’t have enough resources for its population, but you give the entire Indian community a bad name when you cheat, lie, and do other unethical things.\n\n- Learn about Canadian values. The Canadian charter of rights and freedoms exists. Under it cases were won supporting equality for women, LGBTQ rights, etc. this is built into our constitution and it’s so ridiculous to come across people who don’t adopt Canadian values. Why choose Canada if you want a culture of what’s back at home. \n\n- I get it that our healthcare system needs to improve but am disappointing reading advocacy for private healthcare in Indian Facebook groups in Canada. Tommy Douglas was voted as the greatest Canadian. He is the founding father of our nationalized healthcare system. For the most part, Canadian are happy that we don’t have a healthcare system like the United States, where your access is determined by your employer or your income. We don’t go bankrupt when we have a health emergency. Go back to India or go to another place where you can pay for private healthcare, but stop advocating to transition our healthcare system to a private system. While you’re at it go look up who was determined to be some of the greatest Canadians.

I am an Indian and I am disgusted to see what fellow Indians have done to Canada! They come here with their total lack of civic sense! I was born and raised in Calcutta as we navigated daily through filth and dirt on the streets - not only because of the poor on the street - but bec of everyone else who walks around and thinks nothing of throwing their garbage on the streets, spitting and blowing their noses on the streets and even in buildings - stairway landings, or peeing in the open - in public spaces or against building walls, etc.. Narcissistic, selfish drivers who cut people off, break the traffic rules, grab parking spots, etc.. They come here and make every effort to Indianize Canada - to make this into India instead of respecting this country that has generously and (ignorantly!!) allowed them in!! If they want to live their Indian culture in an 'Indian environment' - then for goodness sake - GO BACK TO INDIA and clean up that country your call your 'matri bhoomi' - your Mother!! The presenter is right - Indians (and Sri Lankans, Bangladeshis and Pakistanis too included here - all with the same mentality!) have dragged down the customer service experience in stores and restaurants. Indians are usually polite but they are not good at maintaining a high standard of customer service! Employees in Walmart, Costco, Tim Hortons (especially!), etc., are seen standing around, chatting with each other in their Indian languages instead of being professionally attentive to customers. The shopping experience is not pleasant like it was 25 years ago!! Your remarks are not harsh and Indians NEED to take it personally and be embarrassed into doing the necessary to make the changes they need to. We immigrated to Canada not to come to 'another India' - we came to Canada and would like to live in this country to appreciate it's uniqueness and contribute to maintaining it the way it has been! Eastern countries culture will never be watered down, yet we aren’t allowed to keep our westernised countries. I have no issue with being a multi-cultural country (Australia), however I take issue with multiculturalism. Immigrants of the past, would move to a westernised country and adopt the culture, lifestyle , mix with the locals and be proud to be one of them, that’s a multi-racial society. Multiculturalism on the other hand is Muslims and Indians etc that are known for not assimilating, instead living in enclaves and recreating their home country within our country. Why should these people who have zero interest in our culture , people and way of life be welcomed into our westernised countries where all they care about is using our resources? It’s absolutely absurd our governments allow this to happen! In Australia, Indians are the second highest intake, soon to be number one. There are so many of them, soon Australia will be India and Australians of all nationalities will be the minority in our own country. They buy up all the food businesses in the area, and fire all the non-Indians, they take up all the jobs in IT and low paying jobs due to being cheap labour. In teams, they ostracised the non-Indians on the team. Aussie suburbs now look like parts of India with them having multiple local fb networking groups where hoards of them take over the local park, playing their music loudly on the weekends. Ignorant people see them as mild mannered, they don’t see the dangers of how racist they can be to non-Indians and how rapidly they take over areas. When they become the majority in Australia, the non-Indians are going to be pushed out of their country. Unlike other migrants (with the exception of Muslims) they refuse to blend in and co-exist and become Aussies. They plan to overtake and destroy our countries into versions of their home country hell holes.

Çanadians looking to this government to do anything substantial or than sending billions overseas are in for a big disappointment. I am an international student in Germany and am about to earn a master's degree here. I looked for jobs here but I am not fluent in the language they want. So, I am going to take my newly acquired skills somewhere else.

I grew up in Montreal and left to go to graduate school in California. I have since moved to Las Vegas (California was a dissaster runned by Democrats who screwed up everything) and everything fell into place and I am extremely happy. I make a good living here and I can usually make a same day or next day appointment to see a doctor when I need one. I remember how bad government runned healthcare in Canada was and that it used to take months to make an appointment to see a doctor. The medical system in the USA is top notch as long as you live in a Republican dominated state. I guess that's the difference between Canada's government runned healthcare and the USA's private healthcare. Anytime the government operates a system it is a dissaster. If you're looking to move somewhere I would recommend Las Vegas.

Hey, to all you people from Europe, how about you take a look at what your own country did in the middle east, aswell as what America did. \n\nDid your countries not go there? Did they not shell the cities and houses there? \n\nAnd if you don't think it is your countries fault, but America's or Canada's fault, why has your country not protested their actions? Why have they been silent?\n\nStart using your brain. Your government gives ZERO F's about you, your family and culture, etc. They care about money and looking good towards the rest of the world.\n\nSo protest against your government, not because it is allowing migrants in, but because it allowed for migrants to form. Because yes it would have been more expensive to help rebuild their homes and society after Europe and most of north America blew it up, but that is how the world works. Breaking stuff is easier then fixing it. \n\nBesides, I have heard that countries have a beautifully large amount of money going towards the military. How about instead of them causing trouble to YOU, the common people, and isntead use that money to keep your country actually safe.

Healthcare here is to the point where I just pay out of pocket for a lot of things anyways because either the doctors' won't take me seriously, or the wait is too long. I've consistently had to pay out of pocket for a lot of medically relevant treatment. Sometimes I think about looking into going to the states for surgery because I've been on a wait list for a consultation for 3 years now...

If I didn't have family and other obligations in Ontario I would have left a long time ago and never returned. My biggest issue is that the culture as eroded so much that there is no sense of community anymore. Everyone seems to be competing with each other at all times. Trying to make friends in North America as a whole is brutal. Every time I go abroad it is very refreshing to take part in cultures where people actually look out for one another. When I come back to Canada I always feel starved of what is important in life.

Why should this country you're fleeing to take you in? Instead of fleeing Canada, why don't you fight for it? Did you vote for the Liberals that are screwing up Canada? Are you just going to do the same in your next host country? Have you ever looked in the mirror? Maybe you're the problem you're fleeing from. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Canada, like the rest of the world, needs to repent. Then they might get the wisdom back to govern properly. It's good that you see the problems of Canada, but you should pay your dues and fight instead of just complaining and fleeing. And if you do leave, maybe put a little more effort into your next host country and not just flee when the going gets tough.

It's all fine and well that you want to leave Canada but where will you go that's any better? After all it is your choice. The problems we see happening around the world are a global problem. There are at least 2 major wars going on. Inflation is rampant in most countries in the world and we ARE heading for a global economic depression that will dwarf anything that we've seen in the 1930's. Speaking for myself my roots are here in Canada which is not the Canada I grew up in anymore. Sadly. Used to be a really great place to live until Trudeau and his band of thieves ruined it. I may as well make my last stand here. If I was going to move where would I go. The EU? Absolutely not! They're tanking. America? No effing way! The American empire is collapsing. Along with the FED note. South America? Don't think so. Most S. American countries are iffy at best. Australia? No. They're nuts. New Zealand? No. They're struggling badly and people are leaving there in droves. Africa? No way in hell. So that doesn't leave very much. Antarctica? Little on the cold side. Few amenities. ;) May as well stay where I am and take my chances. Better the devil I know than the one I don't. If you're serious about moving out of Canada be sure to do your due diligence and research about your target country. Grass always looks greener on the other side but many times isn't once you get there. One place that I AM attracted to is the Azores. Beautiful place. Friendly people. Good climate. One drawback is that I don't speak Portuguese. And I would have to be independently wealthy. After a certain amount of time out of the country I would lose my Canadian pension. It's said that where we are is where we're supposed to be. I may as well take my chances, make the best of a crappy situation and stay here. There really is no better or worse place than Canada. The majority of the countries in the world are struggling with their own problems. I'm not willing to jump from the frying pan into the fire. One of the biggest reasons I want to stay in Canada is that if it does come to a nuclear shooting war it would be very unlikely that Canada would be attacked. So here I'll stay. For better or worse. The LIberals won't be in power forever and if people have the smallest amount of sense, so few will vote for them in the next election that the Liberals will lose party status. I fervently hope that happens. ;)

I currently am considering Germany as work in Canada is horrible for medical educated personnel. Was looking at Italy, Spain, Poland, and Sweden. Canada is hitting me up for a lot of taxes Federal , Provincial, and Municipal. I also am taxed by the USA for taxes for my real estate holdings, and get taxed by Canada for homes I inherited from my elderly uncle’s. I literally rent my homes to my cousins in Tacoma and Kansas as rental rates are unaffordable. I see house values go up but taxes are there to make it impossible to support the valuation. But enough about my tax problems, I hope you can take your journey over there and report what it’s really like?

A similar documentary showed Chinese migrants were to enter US as tourists and then walk across the Peace Arch and were told to look like tourists taking pictures and cross over and be picked up. This was going on for decades.

This should not be legal. That's messed up. They're taking those jobs from people that actually need those jobs. It's not easy for people in South Asian middle class families to get these jobs as their English is not fluent so these jobs go to privileged and educated families. They're getting the airline blacklisted by doing this, reducing jobs for the poor in their home country. This is selfish. As someone from a 3rd world country, this is dangerous. I've heard so many cases of people ending up as slaves because some idiot conned them into doing this. Canada also needs to look into corrupted politicians getting PR cause they bought land there through money laundering schemes in the home country. And these issues have existed even before Trudeau came into power. Stop blaming just 1 person, blame the entire system.

It's very unlikely that Canadian news/mainstream media is going to report on the issue of people entering the USA from the Canadian side of the fence illegally. Our government also censors the hell out of our social media platforms and news can't be viewed on several of them. They won't want us to know. Take a few minutes to look into the number of censorship bills that got passed in recent years.

Why don't the president of Mexico stop this??? I'll tell you why, or what Mexicans man told me. He said, Biden ask him to stop these people from coming to Mexico then coming here. For every hundred people who are looking for the same job there is sn employment problem. For every hundred people looking for the same apartment you have a rental problem. For every hundred people looking to buy the same house there's going to be a housing problem. For every hundred people looking to take the same thing as the other hundred people you have a society with a big problem. In many cities daycare is a big problem because of the number of new people coming into the country and replacing those who are already in line for social services. Language services replace the priority of local citizens who have to move to the sidelines in order for new comers can be equal but when too many people are coming into the country things will never be equal. Anyone coming to Canada must be fluent in English so as to not put a strain on local social services..
