Well,in the event Trump returns as President of United States he will have to make plans to build another border wall this time on the Canadian side. The new wall will probably cost as much as 4 times more than the wall on the Mexican side due to the fact that the Canadian border is longer than the Mexican border.

As a Macedonian/Greek Canadian, whose family moved here from Greece in 1968, I am now preparing to move back to Macedonia or Greece. I am also considering moving to Thailand, Vietnam, or South Korea. I'm 36 years old and I can no longer make a decent wage with my college diploma. So I have gone back to university, and I'm 2 years through my 5 year degree. Once I get my degree I'll decide where I'll live for the rest of my life, but it will not be Canada, that's 100% for sure. I plan on liquidating my condo and house to buy much more land and nicer property, with money left over, rather than just surviving in Canada and living on scraps. This was once a great country for immigrants and native citizens, it's now become some kind of cruel joke. The only thing I'm thankful for is my Canadian education, as Canadian education is highly valued around the world. Other than that, Canada can kiss my Greek ass.

As a Canadian I agree that Canada is no longer a great place to immigrate to. I disagree that it is due to racism (my parents were immigrants) but now the cost of living is too high due to shortage of housing supply and inflation. Salaries have not kept up. Immigrants do have a much harder time gaining employment in high skilled jobs especially if their English is not PERFECT. And local governments have not prepared the infrastructure to handle the massive amount of immigration that the government has accepted over the years. Our schools and health care systems are overwhelmed and stressed to the point where 1/4 of people don’t have a family doctor and getting into even a public school has become competitive. \n\nThis is not the Canada I grew up in or thought my kids would grow up in. It’s hard even for Canadians to survive and immigrants coming here without a 6-figure salary job will struggle to survive.

Canadian govt needs to control the how much of each race they gonna let in... on one hand the govt might have a population target but on the otherhand they should strive to study the demographic target or balabce n include it in ghrif plans .... at somd point the govt must be willing to compromise the population target to a healthy bslance of demographics.. it cant be free for all as there more thsn 1 billion indians & the majority of them will take any opportunity to jum in any 1st worl country... n indians im not being a racist but have one of the stongest culture n civilization... if u chose a majority of the immigrant pool from them.. they will a not adopt to the host country's culture but instead uphold their culture n eventually impose it bec they have numbers.. indians tend to favor fellow indians in recruiting for a job..... they have no qualms priotirizing an indian in india vs say a chinese in canada...once the indians get a hold of a company u will notice all the employees become indians in time.... its bec they indianize thd work culture, no longer inclusive n diverse.. also they practice nepotism (hiring friends, cowrkers, neighbors from theirprevious lives in india), they only talk their language among them, they keep info n knowledege related to work between them, they collaborate only with fellow indians, bangladeshi.. indians are like this anywhere. In singapore, dubai, middle east, europe, usa\n\n\n its not fair to the canadian eufopeans, cadian africans, canadian asians, candian latinos, etc....

In a small town, central Ontario. Our local grocery store, all the employees were/are from town… neighbours, who’d worked there for years, decades for a few. The ownership changed hands a few months back. All the employees (a third of the number that usually works a shift) are new hire immigrants, the cashiers recently arrived. Clearly they’re being under payed and do more… this is about the top raking in as much as possible. It’s a greed game. I wonder if corporations are bringing people in to be at beckon call, provide housing… like pimping. I’m a Canadian nurse and I lived in the US for 10 years during my career. I did it when I was young to gain work experience and travel with friends. It gave me a lot of insight in how it feels to live in both countries. I’ve been a nurse and patient in both counties so I also know how it feels to work, live and be a resident in both. \n\nI cannot articulate enough how it has confirmed to me how fortunate I am to be Canadian. The perks to living in the US were very superficial and frivolous things that matter very little in the broad scheme of things,….which I see as more restaurant chains, cheaper restaurant food, more shopping options, etc. As a young person when I lived there,…those things seemed amazing but matter far less as I get older. \n\nWhen I lived there, I paid a fraction of the income taxes that I paid in Canada but it’s only short term gain for long term pain. The cost of health care, the amounts of gov funded benefits (disability, EI, pension, etc) in the US makes it well worth paying taxes to offset these things as in Canada. I have had cancer 3 times in 5 years and I’ve not paid a cent for treatment, scans, surgery, etc in Canada. My employer held my job for 2 years and I received long term disability of 70% of my yearly wages and my employer paid my full pension and benefits as I was off of work. After 2 years, my cancer returned and was deemed incurable so I will continue to receive this pay and benefits until I’m 65 and can retire as I can no longer work. I have no financial worries as I battle cancer. \n\nTo contrast,…my US employer was a world reknowned hospital that had excellent pay and benefits. Had I been working there when I was diagnosed with cancer, I would only have gotten full pay for 6 weeks until my sick time and vacation time was used up. Then I was eligible for a fraction of my income for 3 months, which would not be enough to live on. I would not have had my pension paid. After that, I’d receive no more pay and my employer would hold my job without pay for 6 months and then I’d be let go. My cancer required nearly 2 years off of work so after 5 months of this minimal pay, I’d have no income, no job and no benefits with a new pre existing condition to ensure that I’d have a snowballs chance in hell of getting future coverage. Meanwhile during that 5 months of some pay, I’d still need to pay huge costs of treatment despite having insurance but that would disappear after I was let go from my job. I’d have to return to work during my treatment just to afford to continue it. I have many US friends that had a similar cancer that worked throughout to cover basic cancer care while I was able to recuperate without working or fearing being unable to pay. There is nothing comparable to this when you are sick. It is everything!\n\nSadly, many of my American friends are very ill informed on how health care works in other countries and don’t see the shortcomings in their own. Ironically though, they are willing to argue it without proper information so I often find that bizarre. While lived there I felt as though I was in a bubble where the only news that I saw was US news. I saw no info or minimal about Canada in my whole time there,…aside from falsehoods about health care to scare people away from seeking change. “Canadians are all dying while waiting”, “they are all coming to the US for care”, “they pay 80% income tax” etc. All propaganda,…some from politicians or those that should know better. It was truthfully mind boggling to me how educated people could know so little about the world. It almost felt as though they heard so much propaganda about how terrible other places were while only having knowledge of the US, that it ensured that things would stay the same without anyone wanting beneficial changes to dysfunctional policies (like health care, cost of meds, lack of gun regulations, etc). It’s very bizarre.

There IS NOT a lack of housing in canada , there IS ONLY an affordability problem along with far too much immigration by volume and time frame . Our services and infrastructure (ie; transit services , health care , employment , realisticly affordable housing , finances , etc .) are no where near adequate to accomodate canadians even before the over populating of foreigners . They have been coming here and buying up all the affordable housing during , and post pandemic , with offers far above listed or fair market values , to push owners to sell without question or thought . Following this they stack multiples into these homes illegally and against code , to be able to take up all employment at wages that canadians can't survive on ,forcing them out of employment , homes or both . Once stable and trained to know that business operation , one of their people buy the business and no longer hire any canadians . YES ! TRUE FACT!! How is this accepted ? This is something we could never get away with anywhere .... Selling your country , one property at a time , is only absolute lunacy . They pay top dollar and care nothing about the money , because being that they own most of the businesses , they will get it all back from you within about a years time by raising prices ultimately to do so . Why we have been so run into a crisis within a silent war , is far of that beyond me as we should b lead by our suposed intelligence . There is only right now to react , and correct on this !! Honestly you should have to drive 10 years in Canada with a G class licence and safe record in order to get your AZ. I don’t think deportation is the answer but he should have had to do a longer prison sentence, 2 years community service, never be allowed to drive that class of a vehicle and wait 5 years once released to reapply for a drivers license. I grew up in Malton (borders Brampton) in the 1980's and it was all Western European and Canadian folks and it was great. Such a sense of community and everyone knew everyone. Us kids would stay out until the street lights came on and played in Parks. It was really safe. We moved away in 2006 because the area had gone such down hill by 1999 and the crime was horrible. Stolen cars, alcohol and drug abusing Punjabi folks and the domestic partner violence of the Indian men beating the crap out of their wives was insane. (I had a friend that was a Peel Region Police officer who ended up leaving because she couldn't take seeing it any longer). I have nothing against Immigration, because my dad was an immigrant, but I do have a problem with the amount of any one country we let in, and the types of people that we let in that contribute to crime and area degradation. It's so sad the slums that have become in Brampton and Malton since we left. I'm glad we got the heck out of there when we did. I feel sorry for all those that are stuck there still. Furthermore with such an influx of immigrants into one area it has driven the house prices and rent through the roof because the pace of immigration was nowhere near the housing starts, and cities think that everyone needs to be packed in like sardines and when you have that many people living in close proximity and you have such expensive living costs it's a disaster waiting to happen and it brings along with it tons of crime and drugs. This contributes to increase in crime and homeless because they brought massive amounts of people in compared to previous years without having the housing available for the increase in population. Medical shortages. My Grandson sat in the ER for 8 hours yesterday with a broken collarbone. He is 3 years old numerous patients skipped ahead of him with self inflicted issues. The was also another gentleman with a broken ankle sitting there he asked how much longer and got snapped at by the nurse. As someone living in Quebec I can confirm.. housing prices just seem unreasonable for someone with a modest income. pretty much had to keep living with family and pay them a rent that is liveble with.. Heard other people who can't count of family had to share single person appartments with friends and sometimes even random people in similar situation. Quebec had (dunno how it works in other provinces) a system of Family doctors that the medical system sort of relied on. yet there is barely no family doctors left. I've been jumping through hoops and all just to get somehow to extend or give me another year of prescription.. I need those meds for life though....\nFood situation.. I am 66 , I had to take my ill wife to emergency at the Peterborough hospital about 3 months ago. After sitting for 2.5 hours in an over crowded emergency room, I asked how much longer before we see a doctor. Canada is no longer Canada. Canadiens are almost a minority in there own country. We have very large cities that we are a minority in. There is so much hate towards white people. FUK TRUDEAU. there is a major housing crisis because we have to many immigrants in a short period of time. The immigrants barley speak English if any at all and are taking over the schools.They are causing the crime rate to rise substantially. Canada is no longer a great country to live.

It's a sacrifice for the first gen but your kids will have infinite opportunities growing up in a western country compared to india. In India outside IT and a few select fields it's impossible to get a well paying job. In western countries there are much more optionsk, even plumbers, electricians, etc make good money there. They have so many disciplines in undergrad which we haven't even heard of, and much more flexibility of switching careers, longer shelf life of getting degrees etc. \nPlus, your child gets to experience so many things like every child there learns swimming, hiking, skiing, seeing beautiful museums, etc.

So leave!!! Why bother to make a 20--minute video to explain why?? To make one last-ditch effort to get some money in Canada before you leave?? Immigrants with cash that scoop up entire rows of properties are the reason why real estate properties are no longer affordable to even ordinary citizens. And you are the one complaining?? Canada bends over backwards catering to new immigrants, giving away free welcome packages of essential items, providing free language lessons (when you are supposed to be fluent in at least one official language of Canada when immigrating), giving you instant permanent residency upon arrival allowing you to enjoy free universal healthcare and free primary and secondary school education for the children, allowing you to be eligible for Canadian citizenship after just 5 years of residing in Canada only requiring you to stay 6 months of a year in Canada. After all that Canada has done to help you, you still don't want to stay?? Then leave!! On your way out, try to ask people who try to immigrate to China how their experience is like. Ask them how long they need to stay in China to even get permanent residency and how much they have to pay to send their children to school in China. Jesus! Goodbye!!

I'm no longer a religious person, don't believe in any. What shocked me about the west is the insanity to support the genocide in Gaza, it is so much in your face and one side that on principle alone, it is digusting. It is one of the reason, as well as the economic collapse that is taking place that has me questioning if I want to support any of this. Wish you all the best in your move! I just not sure where I want to go, but it will be some place I never have to deal with the West, supporting is financially and deal with winter for that matter.

I am right there with you guys but not for the reason you guys are leaving I hate the fighting. No matter who they are I hate seeing people that are innocent being hurt... Our problem here in America is Donald Trump! I am so fed up with that man and if he wins again I'm definitely moving to a different country but the same reasons you guys are freedom... Because if he gets back in office we will no longer be free unfortunately I have grandchildren and children and I don't know what to do about that, makes my heart so sad that I don't know what to do about them and I can't do anything for them but I try to keep my options opening hope and pray that we don't get him in office again.... My father lived 20 years in Canada, he received a pension, in the last 4 years he has had to work because the pension was not enough, now he has decided to return to Colombia because even receiving a pension and working at the same time he cannot afford to live in Toronto, he says in the last 4 years the quality of life has deteriorated, everything are much more expensive, so much so that it is no longer worth returning to Canada.

All western financial systems are due a heavy crash they can not keep up with such vast amounts of people coming in and as in Europe the vast mass of illegals who can not work sucking up the benefits system raises taxes and demand for housing is shooting prices up. \nThe western governments went into money printing mode that creates inflation raising prices on every day goods and foods this can not be sustained for much longer before it all comes crashing down, This also affects places in schools and medical wait times with more people flooding in to the point in the UK where i live you can be waiting up to 5 hours for an ambulance and 3-6 months for an operation.\n25 years ago you could get a 2 bedroom house here for around 25k now you are looking around 150k-250k the kids born here have no chance of owning a home and most end up staying with parents up to their 30s-40s, Even private landlords are under threat from government buyouts that end up housing migrants and not our citizens its a real mess that has no signs of slowing.

In my province healthcare is ostensibly nonexistent. Wait times at ER's are well over 12 hours and you're often directed to go home without ever seeing a doctor. \nThere is an extreme deficit of doctors. I've been waiting 6 years for one and there are people who have waited much longer with no relief in sight. \nHousing is unaffordable. A decent (nothing special) one bedroom 1 bath apartment is around 1600 a month and this is a largely rural province, not a metropolitan city. \nHomes are being bought as fast as they go on the market at extremely inflated prices by people moving here to escape the more populated provinces. This has raised property taxes by 20% in the last 2 years.\nThe economy is in shambles. Homelessness is exploding and the government seems uninterested in fixing it in any realistic or helpful way.\nFederal and provincial income taxes are nearly 50% of your income (44% for me and a bit more for my wife). So, what money you do make you get to keep a little more than half.\nElectricity is about 3 times what it is in the US and the rate here is increasing by 29% over the next 3 years.\nGroceries are unreasonably expensive and becoming more pricey by the day. Provincial sales tax is 15% on top of those groceries as well. \nThis is a short list of a few of the more glaring issues but there are far more. Canada has transformed over the last 5 years into a place I hardly recognize anymore. If something isn't done about it soon we'll be living in a third world country by 2030.

As a born and raised Canadian millennial, I'm grateful to have escaped Canada almost a decade ago when even back then I could no longer tolerate the conditions of Greater Toronto. It's exponentially worse in Toronto today. I wish the best for Canada but I just can't see it improving over the coming decades. I love my life in the US too much to ever move back, but fortunately close enough to make the drive to visit friends and family.

what has been shared in this video is nothing that people are not aware of. Everybody knows that you have to do all the work yourself,no maids, cooks, etc. like India.These facts have been there for years, nothing new about them. If people want to got there for further education, it is different, but then Canada is not all that good as far as higher education is concerned, there are better countries to choose from with better weather conditions and better lifestyle and high class education. Who would want to live in a cold and inhospitable country, payig through your nose. Here in India, if we fall sick even with just cough / cold, we can go to the nearest doctor and get medicines, sometimes we can even just ask the pharmaists to help us to choose some medicines for pharmasist here are half doctors.\nEven our standard of living has become so good, that we don't even feel like shifting to a new country. We have metros, good buses both AC as well as non AC, good trains, good resturaunts, hotels, what is it that we don't have here?\nIt is always better living as a first class citizen in our own country, than living like second class citizen elsewhere. The attraction and the charm of living abroad is no longer there.\nOur country has improved so much and so fast in the last 10 years, we have good bathrooms in schools and other public places, which was not there previously. Only drawback in our country is the traffic and infrastructure, which will also become better, but will take time, because of our country's population.\nIn fact you will find servants and watchmen all coming to work in a bikes or scooters, which was unthinkable some years back. Their life has changed for the better, they live in rented flats/or on lease, their children study in good schools and so on, and they dress also so well, that you cannot differentiate between them and the people they work for.\nMany of the so called advanced countries do not have many well educated people like our country, the children there are not as knowledgeabe like Indian kids, their knowledge is limited to the town they live in, they don't know anything about the world outside.\nAnd now with the Khalistani terrorist living freely there it is all the more dangerous. And on top of it, it is a country ruled by a dumb Prime Minister, who has to give asylums to all good for nothing, ( and all only for votes) uneducated people whose only job is to sell drugs to kids and indulge in terrorism and threaten people.\nGood thing, you have come back, for there is nothing like sweet home.

The medical benefits no longer outweigh the relatively much larger COL.
