Option 1 we gonna SPEND a HUGE amount of money to deport millions of people. \nOption 2 we filter out high crime immigrants and filter those out, after we charge $20000 each illegal for a 2 year visa and work permit as a trial time, and see how they contribute to society. \n Do you have any idea how much money will come in?? It will close 1/4 of your countries deficit.\n Look I'm an immigrant myself, and I was brought in legally as a kid. However because of the difficulties or the bureaucracy I was left out of status. The company I worked for (a delaship) wants me back, customers reach out to me directly because they trusted me and were happy with my performance as their advisor. But guess what I can't work, but I also can't be deported because my country of birth is at war. And I dont want to go back quite frankly because it's back there I'm gonna be an alien more than I am here. I finished a degree and paid my way through collage here I grew up here, and even though because of the problems of the immigration system I was constantly limited with basic equal opportunities I still see this as my home, and actually appreciate this country more than some people I know that were born here. \n Now again - I suffered plenty with being limited as an immigrant here and I was forced to work shitty heavy labor for years and years, I worked overtime plenty with no overtime pay and such (y'all just have no idea what immigrants life is) and in my case - I got stuck in that status for 2 decades. Where I could have had a high degree by now, I instead have been just busting my ass for peanuts. I never asked for any help from the government here even when I could have, never filed unemployment. \nAnd after all this you gonna deport me? Great fucking plan. Land of brave and opportunity ??

Its not as simple as deporting all illegals, All those who complain about inflation, now get ready for for the unseen/ unsaid issues th at come along with this way of doing things, it is tied into the economy and will have enormous impacts of pricing and manufacturing. Those who dont know why the border must have a swinging door which swings both ways, as All companies take advantage of south of the border because of vheap labor and laxed regulation so they can get away with what they can get away on us soil. Now you get someone like chump who has zero tolerance and no political experience run it like a business with out understanding of the consequences that comes with actions done with out beabke to compromise. You all complain about inflation, now get ready in your everyday lives, from manufacturing, to groceries, to dining out, and be prepared to pay alot more because now, no one is going to do thise jobs as the so called americans didnt want to do those jobs, as its always gone unspoken that hey they are doing it, and reeps the fruits of the laborors and could care less until it got out of hand as of today. the main concept of any foreign govt giving permanent residency is whether you fulfil the need for them, so this is good for people who have some skills and can positively contribute but anyone who just wants to go for the sake of going there is not going to get anything , they better study and then return .. this is nothing different from UK, its very hard to get Tier 2 visa in UK unless your job is in shortage or in the occupation list but the difference is that Canada has been very lenient in the past allowing people clearing just 10 years of schooling also getting student visas, this has not happened in UK as people come to study bachelor's or master when they have completed full 12+ years of schooling in their home country.. may be it was needed then in Canada but now its not the same case..so if govt is taking this step its first in the interest of the local people including the ones who have gained citizenship with proper procedure..

Canadian government should only focus on students who are interested in coming here for their education not for PR or working, after education they should return back. There are plenty of students around the world who want to come here for their education and can also integrate into the Canadian system if PR given. Look at the history of what kind of students create problems, stop getting them here.

They also taken over our post secondary /university position. But today Ontario with 18% acceptance of international students to medical school (of course they went back to their countries to practice,leaving us short of family doctors) has now ban this practise to medical schools. Hopefully other provinces. will do the same. There are many of young Canadians who want to study medicines who couldn’t get in. My friends daughters had to go to Caribbean’s and UK to study and eventually has to stay there because they met their partners there and also could not convert their degrees to return to Canada. Canada only accept 400 out of 1400 doctors to come back here per year.

Why do people say she choose Trump over family?? She just wants everyone to follow the law like she did.. also remember the USA was a much different place 20+ years ago, the amount of terrorist, criminal and trafficker has more than 100% increased, times are different and we need a secure border and allow good law abiding citizens to come in.

They are skilled migrants. Why do Canada take them in? Because they lack skilled white people to do their jobs. Also lack of population. Indians don’t do drugs and they work and earn money and contribute to the society. And for the matter of fact they don’t just come from India they are invited to Canada from India by Canadian government policies and by Canadian companies. Medical and IT professionals are given big offers to come and live in Canada. However that may not be the case for students. Students are in large numbers and they want to stay back. Too many students is a problem. Colleges just take in too many of them, because they pay the money. Bring some control over colleges and students intake. There are too many new colleges just for business and that’s not good.

I've lived here 6 years and can't wait to leave. Salaries are just enough to get by. I work full-time as an analyst and am looking for a minijob just to save money, which I already live quite modestly. It's easy to come across nasty unfriendly people, neighbors, service people, people in government agencies. I hate people staring in the most unfriendly manner or givng attitude for no reason other than they are nasty people. Don't get me wrong, there are nice people as well, but the bad experiences outweigh the good. Beauracracy is overbearing, personalities are underwhelming, the food scene is underwhelming, learning German is a big burden when you work a full-time job (and now I need a minijob too??). The country seems like it wants to diminish the human spirit and ambition. I definitely regret moving here. Many housing companies are over charging rent. I found out the company, Deutschewohnen, who owns my apartment was overcharging me by nearly double!! I had to go through a year long court procession to get them to lower it to the legal price which I won. And now they sent me a letter last month saying they are raising my rent, which is illegal and I have to go through ANOTHER court battle with them. Of course it is exhausting to try and find another apartment. Some people search up to a year. What a joke. And not to mention the dating scene. I've been single the entire 6 years and I'm quite an outgoing, friendly, loveable person. Dating Germans comes with own weird experiences and I refuse to give them a chance anymore, for my own mental health. If you're POC, it's not uncommon to come across strange sexualizations and general lack of understanding other's cultures. A couple years ago I was attacked by 8 men while walking home at night. I ended up in the hosopital and there was an investigation opened. The police asked me why they attacted me, which I didn't know since it was unprovoked. They just followed me for awhile, surrounded me and started beating me. The police said it was probably because I'm Asian. Meanwhile, I'm not even Asian!!! I'm Latino. ??‍♂This is the type of ignorance POC have to deal with in Germany. Also, I only have 1 German friend and all my other friends are immigrants (which I love) but this poses it's own frustrations because many people move here, then move away after a few years when they learn they can have a more fulfilling life elsewhere. So keeping long term day-to-day friends can be a challenge. The entire system is exhausting and there's not enough balance to bring joy to my life to want to stay. When I lived in NYC, an African American aquaintance had just moved there after living in Berlin for 8 years. She warned me not to move here because I will never feel I belong. I didn't listen. That was a big mistake. Germans can have Germany. I'll find my joy elsewhere. End of rant. haha

Also right now, India and Canada are nto international friends. India sends some people here to kill a Canadian citizen, and gets caught red handed doing it. India is doing a hell of a job dealing with its Muslim population and their leader is a populist asshat. He talks like Trump and offers little in return except to find scapegoats. Then that BS is brought here, along with a lot of daily life cultural garbage. \n\nSo yeah. A lot of Canadians want Indians to leave. I can tell you one of the major reasons. It is the fact that these immigrants from India do not want to assimilate into Canada. Instead they bring their ways with them into Canada and some of those “ways”, are not acceptable in Canada. One example of that is the whole using the bathroom on the beach. But one that hits hard for me is the insane amount of immigrants that are harvesting spawning salmon with nets, without any of the properly paperwork that is needed to fish salmon with a rod. Using a net is illegal, I know they know it because when I catch them doing this. They become quiet and all of a sudden, after hearing them just speaking English, they pretend they do not know English… I can tell you this is all true. The other thing I have seen with my eyes is shop lifting from the local grocery store. I have never seen that before, not ever in all my years living here. It would be somewhat different if they were stealing essential items and essential foods. But they are not doing that, they are stealing all the luxury items. I am a white Canadian and I am proud of it, but guess what. I am also proud of the fact that I have a doctor that came from India and his family is thriving here. It makes me proud that he chose our country try to come to, with his educational background, it also makes me proud that he and his family have taken the time to try and assimilate into our culture. When I say assimilate by the way, I do not want them or and immigrant to completely abandon their cultures, I just would prefer it if they assimilate to the point where we can have a healthy community instead of all these separate cultural areas in our towns and cities. The other thing I have to add is that the word racism is thrown around too much and too easily in our current woke cultural climate here in Canada and this is just making the immigration issues worse because it produces a culture of fear for those Canadians that would like to help educate those immigrants that need help. But they do not do so because they are afraid of being labeled a racist or some other word and having their livelihoods and overall lives ruined. I am in a position in life where I do not care if people want to say such things about me. I am also well educated and in the position to come up with well articulated arguments in my defence. My main issue with immigration that bothers me more than the rest not only affects us Canadians but also affects the immigrants as well. Ok so before mass immigration was a thing here in Canada our healthcare system that we all used to be extremely proud of the as showing too many cracks and we knew it was falling apart. You think the government would place more funding into the healthcare system. Well that has not happened and if anything they have taken more funds away from our healthcare system than any other time in our country’s history. So before the mass immigration begun we had a major issue with having way too many patients and not enough medical staff to adequately treat everyone in a timely and healthy manner. So now think about that, the healthcare system was already stressed with the current population before mass immigration. How do you think adding waves and waves of more people every year via mass immigration is affecting that system? The answer is this… if the system was stressed beforehand, it is collapsing now. I am one of the lucky few that has a family doctor right now. It takes three months the just for me to see her… If I have an emergency and have to call 911, the ambulance will take me up to the local ER and then I will be wheeled out to the waiting room, which defeats the purpose of me calling 911 for a ambulance. I have waited two days at the local ER just to see a doctor. So here is where it affects the immigrants coming in. If a Canadian that was here before you is already having major issues with the healthcare, then I can only imagine how hard it will be for a new citizen to our country, nuff said really… the local er near me had a person die in the waiting room this past January. Add to this fact that I am actually pretty sick at the moment and so are my parents and you can understand why I am upset about our failing healthcare system. The politicians do not have to worry about our such issues though because they can afford to pay to go outside of Canada and pay cold hard cash for medical treatment. That is why they do not mind removing funds from our healthcare system, it will not affect them and they get to line their pockets with more of our tax money… I honestly place most of the blame for what is going on right now on Trudeau’s government and not the immigrants. The immigrants could help make this crappy situation a lot better for both of our parties though if they tried a little harder to adapt to our ways of life here. When in Canada try to live like a Canadian, I do not think that is asking much. Again, as for racism, I believe in judging a person by their actions and not by the colour of their skin. Racism is such an antiquated way of thinking… Our skin colours maybe different, just like our cultural backgrounds, but after all is said and done we are all members of the human race. Canadians are more angry now than they have ever been. The RCMP have been advised about this across the whole of Canada, so you know it is a real issue. I can control myself and will never snap at others due to how frustrated I am, so I would like to apologize to those of you that may have a bad experience with another frustrated Canadian. YGood day. For from context I'll reveal a little about me. I am around 27% Indian, 34% northern African people which is around 61% combined. My other ancestry includes Wales, Sweden, Norway Scottish and Irish, Hebrew/ jew as in from 12 tribes of Israel, However, the world calls me black Jamaican born. I live in small town with population under 41,000 people in northern Ontario Canada for past 21 years. I remember when I came here with company contracted to build and say very few black people mostly French African and some mixed black with some Chinese probably total under 20 people other than white or indigenous peoples. Over the years was steady increase of black, Chinese, Philippino, and my Indian doctor and his family to maybe total around 50 none white none indigenous peoples. Just before pandemic we had a large number of Indian students which was awesome to see considering my heritage as my grandmother on dad side was Indian. But a year before pandemic we noticed many started working in convenient stores and fast food places like most high school students do to save for college/university which was becoming a problem for Canadian students as some employers got incentives or cheaper labour to maximize profits. As pandemic rolled in so it seems more Indian students from other regions in Canada. So, Canada, Ontario, and small town I reside already had huge housing problems as some homes we even to be condemned and indigenous homeless from north increased crime rates and now we had students living beyond building code occupancy with shared living causing rentals to shoot up in prices as landlords became greedy and selfish. This small town of under 41,000 is by some estimates over 55,000 by increasing Indian students who for past 5 years fighting to get permanent residents even though they came as students which proves the goal was always invasion and coming as students was the ticket. If you and rest of new immigrants don't see the problem yet, I'll continue. 95% of taxis have Indian drivers, 98% food and other delivery Indian, 90%+ convenience and groceries, clothing and all stores 90%+ , vehicles on roads 70% Indian, my son barely got into college with 90%+ Indian population in college and his class is 2 white students, himself only mixed , and 2 Africans and 22 Indian students who cheats on a regular basis but professor afraid to confront as they are quick to call racism. But even bigger for me is these Indian students/new immigrants have no respect for the history of Canada and USA not knowing how indigenous peoples were raped tortured and murdered to take over this country and then enslaved African people to build this country while they raped tortured treat less than animals and still suffering with fighting for equal rights for over 400yrs while still being racially profiled and beaten and murdered by police officers because of this colonizers system. Now you come here and benefits from black and indigenous peoples struggles and claiming rights when you have not been fighting the battles with us or for us. Also, the criminal aspects of your community is not being taked about as well which includes extortion to businesses owned by Indians, car thefts, drug trafficking, human trafficking and other criminal activities. There's so much more than just saying you feel unloved by the people you're taking things from for their children and grandchildren and generations without showing any respect as that is defined as selfish. You and many new immigrants forget this is not India and expect everyone to bow to you and that is what we are against. i Have some awesome friends that are new immigrants and are respectful and want to learn about history and current events and impacts they have and how to reprove Canada not destroy Canada

India is a big nation with with diverse peope. The Indians in Canada are Punjabis. So blame Punjabis not ALL Indians. Also the issue with Punjabis in Canada is immigration fraud and exploiting poor Punjabis young people who came for a better life. Also many of the low paying jobs are getting taken over by Punjabis as part of immigration fraud and people are getting angry because other canadians feel discriminated. The truth is that it is not a racism but it is part of the immigration fraud and exploitation of these young Punjabis that their parents spent tons of money to come to canada. Oh no get this it gets even better Mrs. Harris wants to pardon all the millions that have come here illegally it’s OK and then and then also give them handouts. I am also India but it is illegal to pressurize government to extend their work permit or grant citizenship eventhough you have contribute enough to the Canadian economy. It is their country and they have rights who will come and who will leave. If they want to stay then they should start their businesses or consult to government migration agents. It is disappointing to see international students doing such unmature thing. Instead of doing protest they should learn about upcoming new courses in the era of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Electric Vehicles, Cyber Security, Healthcare and Agricultural Technology. Such skill set being encouraged by western governments they would love to have you stay in their country by boosting their economy.

I see a lot of comments which are mostly against the international students and are some racist as well. I can understand the pain of Canadian and i am also a canadian now (immigrant), It is a total mess created by the government where government used international students as the cash cow from past 7-8 Years. Its the fault of both sides but the major culprit is the government. I was a also a new immigrant to canada in 2012 and I thanks alot to the open arms welcome for the immigrants by the canadians but when you put a pinch of salt in food its taste good and its was all good until 2015-16. but the government started putting the full carton of salt in small bowl of soup which made the food bitter now not just for the canadian generation but the immigrants which moved to canada before 2016. I hope in the next coming years things will change for canadians. In the last I would, If someone don't wants to welcome me in his home then I should not enter to his home. we should respect that where ever we should go not just canada, it applies to any part of the world and to everyone.

These international people are coming from India, and they’re just here to stay and fraud everyone. They also have no plan on learning anything, they just want to stay here. They also are probably just coming here, so when they go to India they can show everyone that “look I have a visa!” They are nothing but frauds are liars.

The politicians from Canada and India don't care if everyone lives in poverty. And getting Canadian citizenship will not solve all your families' problems. The only thing I would say cause you seem to be very young. Is that brampton actually in the 70's and to early 2000's used to be mostly a white and black community and then other cultures. I am born in Toronto I have a cousin born in Toronto who currently lives in brampton she owns a house in brampton for about 25 years. And is going through a lot mentally with the slamming. We got of people from India mostly in the last 2 years, but it's been going on slowly over 10 years and she's not doing well with the overwhelment of Indians and we're of black Jamaican heritage. I've lived and worked around the Indians that used to come here were literally not even on the radar. Is people saying they don't assimilate? They're very rude to anybody who is not them. They are just interacting with the environment. The way they do at home, Canadians are more quiet and try to be respectful of other cultures. We like to just have their own space and our own peace when they're moving throughout this space and a lot of people describe the energy of the Indians coming in almost evasive into your space and then not really carrying anything about invading ur space. They act like, so what's the big deal if I'm in your space and that has been the number one issue is just the rudeness. Not assimilating and imposing their culture, speaking their language, not attempting to integrate with other cultures showing actually a lot of racism to some of the other cultures. And that has been the biggest problem. So just so you know, cause I can tell you're young. I'm North 40 years old and I can tell you. The demographic change has been so intense everywhere in Canada especially in the last 2 years. That I have even seen podcast with Indian people who have been here 10 -20-30 years, saying the government needs to figure out a way and get a good swath of these people gone because they are. Staining them with a negative brush. Cause I can tell you. It's only in the last 5 years. That I notice Indians. I've grown up around every culture. And I just don't notice individual cultures in that way. Until in 2022, Trudeau took the guard railsl off the foreign worker program and the student Visa working program. And India is known for having middlemen in India that work with Fake Diploma Mills scholls with brampton having over 80 of them that the middlemen work scamming Indians by telling them if they pay anywhere from $5000 all the way up to $50,000 even higher to get fake school acceptance letters, so they can come here to get the word permit and work full-time or with companies that provide fake LMIA job offers on the black market, which is illegal under the I.R.C.C, but that is a thing that they had prior to 2022. And when Trudeau took the guards rails off when it comes the requirements and basically. Made it a free-for-all and as India already had the scamming infrastructure in place that kept their population moderate and it just allowed th scammers to go nuts, so that's why we got mostly Indians. Unless it has changed. \n\nAlso, it’s IMPOSSIBLE to get permanent residency before graduation because you need Canadian experience (full time) for at least 1 year in specialized areas. \n\nOnly if you successfully complete your program you get the full time work visa per 3y. In this time it’s going to be possible TO APPLY for permanent residence. \n\nBut not only that. Canadian experience give you extra points in the immigration program, but also a Bachelor’s degree, or a master degree, work experience in your back country, English level, and age. \n\nI don’t know for certain countries if the rules are different, but as long as I know, it’s the same for everybody. \n\nWhen I came as an international student, I had to prove the college was paid, also show I had enough money to support myself for 1y without work. Also, the program at college that costs $4000/semester for a Canadian student, it costs $8-10.000 for an international student. \n\nMy work visa (during college) allowed me 20h per week working only. \n\nTo get my study visa approved I had to show intermediate English, money, work experience, Bachelor’s degree (I have also a master’s), and explain why I wanted to study in Canada and why that program was related to my current career. \n\nTalking about jobs; I have worked as a housekeeper in a hospital (on weekends). Because you asked, most Indians in my local area won't speak to me. I say hi they put smirk on there face and walk by. I also believe that part of the hate comes from the fact Canadians are willing to integrate your religions into our country politics and police force. But what do you contribute back in the way of culture. Where are the ayurvedic stores, tan dav dance centers. The Koreans or our country gave us tae kwon do . The Chinese gave us karate. I myself have been wanting to learn Hindi but can't find anyone to teach me because they just don't talk to me.

In Surrey BC there is a shooting carried out by Indian gangs almost everyday. There is also a massive influx of Indians who simply make zero effort to learn the common language of this country: English. I am a 2nd generation Indian-Canadian, and even I struggle to communicate with these new migrants from India. If you want to come to this country that embraced me and my family as one of their own, you need to accept and embrace their culture and not try to replace it. \n\nAs an Indian Canadian citizen, I fully support deporting any Indian students who have overstayed their student/work visa. They need to go back because they do not love this country.

TFW here, east Asian, a couple of things:\nI am paid the provincial minimum wage, and work in the dairy industry, medium sized farm.\nI started working straight out of high school\n\nFrom what I can see and hear from across the province and largely in the western Canadian provinces, older generation farmers are at the retirement age, but the younger generation is generally very reluctant to take over. \nNot all industries, but definitely in livestock, people sometimes don't realize that, there is literally no breaks, ever! You work every day, holidays, Christmas, and if you do chose to take a few days off, your co-workers, i.e. other family members or workers, have to take up the extra workload. You barely have time for your family, you are often tired around your kids. Farmers have some of the highest suicide rates among all occupations, as well as a difficulty to find partners due to the nature of their jobs.\nThe work is hard, days long, especially during harvests, and if the ever more expensive tractors, equipment fail...\nThere used to be a lot of family owned farms, over the last few decades most have sold their generational farm and left the industry, most because of the cost to operate and because the next generation's unwillingness to take over.\nYong people my age have not been seen applying for my position in a few years now, despite ongoing hiring effort at significantly higher than minimum wage, and I have repeatedly stated that I, although love my job, am ready to step aside at any point so a Canadian PR or citizen can take my position, as required by worker rules. There were a few inquiries from neighboring areas, mostly made by parents, but their children in the end all refused to work, even part time, or seasonal.\n\nOn the other hand, there is the issue of prices: equipment costs have largely more than doubled since the pandemic, grain prices rose... and all that on top of the constant uncertainty of the weather every planting and harvesting season. Most farms don't ever make a profit after the yearly operating cost is deducted from earnings, and the little profit that on occasion appear, goes right back into paying debt or reinvesting in renewing long overdue old equipment.\n\nMy position, and all those similar to mine in agriculture, are in all fairness, very low skilled, with minimum training, and therefore is only worth minimum wage, in my opinion. I was actually offered a higher amount but in the end turned it down because on the job, I discovered the only thing I bring to the table is manual labor (I know that's not really the right way to go about wages, but I do believe that wages should be based on the irreplaceableness of one's skills, and as it stands, although no replacements were ever found, I am very much easily replaceable, skill wise). That, compared to a slightly better paid Starbucks position, with benefits (most farm workers and owners don't have benefits or pension, yes owners too), air conditioning, regular work hours. I mean, if it wasn't for my particular interest for agriculture I'd pick Starbucks any day too!\n\nI think a couple issues are at hand, \n1. Most of agriculture's profit ends up in the corporate processing and supermarkets, that needs to change, workers could benefit, as well as consumers, from distributing that profit between farmers and shoppers.\n2. Agriculture in today's context no longer fit the modern life, although I strongly think that A LOT of people can benefit from getting their hands dirty once in a while and sweating a bit, improve physical and mental health, have better discipline all that jazz. So foreign workers are the temporary solution, if well regulated so that Canadian PR and citizens are ALWAYS prioritized for hire and at a fair wage. This cannot happen unless farmers can turn a profit, stated in point 1.\n3. A new generation of farmers are needed to take over, and they need to be somehow convinced that it is worth the toil, because as it stands, it is not, financially, life style wise. Automation is one solution, although therein lies the huge, foreseeable risk of corporate takeover.\n4. On a specific note, TFW does mandate that workers are provided up to standard housing (not always followed), which puts local workers at a huge disadvantage if they are commuting to work and paying rent, although that rarely happens, and the majority of farms do offer housing to all.\n\n\nI am aware that me being treated up to regulation is not the norm among my TFW peers, which is quite sad and unacceptable. But in my opinion, even if given a leveled playing field, wages , conditions, housing, etc. Canadian citizens and PRs largely will be unable to meet the demand for these jobs, from unwillingness to work really hard physically, unwillingness to live the lifestyle, wanting a career with better prospects... these are harsh words, but I believe to be true, and they also come from a lot of older generation farmers talking about their children and grandchildren. \n\nThis is just in the agri industry, and from what I hear from farmers from all over western Canada : )

First of all great video. As a Canadian to immigrants I have a few things to say. Most Canadians are either first generation Canadian or perhaps second generation. The major gripe I have is my parents came here, respected the culture, contributed very hard while also embracing others. Not to mention didn't break any law. Now the major issue is many immigrants (not just Indians) come here and are infesting our country with what they claim to have hated in their own country. At the end of the day the government has handled the immigration status horribly. A few bad apples do not warrant the rest. You touched on it best. Stereotypes is something all humans do. I am constantly annoyed by the following, but because I was born in Canada, I would be cancelled for saying the things you can. I am also Indian. Here’s the list that comes to mind. I might come back and edit this because I am sure there are things I am forgetting: \n\n- coughing into your elbow instead of your hands (literally watched a guy yesterday on the bus cough into his hands then put his hands onto the support bar)\n\n- Standing to the side and letting people off the train so you can get on instead of trying to walk through people who are trying to get off \n\n- Standing up and moving to the side to let somebody off on an inside seat of the bus. I have a butt. I don’t want to be squeezing by you \n\n- Taking off their backpack while standing on the bus and putting it between their legs\n\n- Moving to the back of the bus instead of crowding by the doors\n\n- Standing in lines to get onto the bus instead of crowding\n\n- Not littering. Either put your garbage in the bin or take it with you. Stop leaving it on the beach or on hiking trails.\n\n- Learn about hiking before attempting it. We have people going up in jeans and flip flops in the evening and getting stuck on mountains or injured. Some wear running shoes but they don’t have enough traction for the trail\n\n- Shovel the sidewalk in front of your home when it snows\n\n- Stop dousing yourself with axe body spray. \n\n- Understand that Indian food makes your clothes smell. It gives off oils that get stuck in everything. Open your windows and doors when cooking to minimize this as much as possible. You won’t be able to resolve this entirely but do what you can. The skytrain now smells like Indian food even when empty. \n\n- Stop riding your bikes and scooters on the sidewalk. It’s illegal and you have a responsibility to learn the rules \n\n- Stop hiring everybody that you know. Before nepotism was all about networking, but nowadays, it seems to be about hiring Indian people that you know. I am being discriminated by employers because they think I will do the same once I am in. Diversity in teams matters. Indian immigrants don’t seem to believe in this and think all that matters is the most qualified get the job. This is how you end up building facial recognition models that don’t recognize Black people. \n\n- You work at McDonald’s. Stop blasting Indian music. The McDonald’s by my place is blasting Indian music from the back and it overtakes the restaurant music. \n\n- In a work environment, even if it is all Indians, speak English. You ostracize your fellow colleagues and customers. You are also not improving your English skills by speaking in your primary language.\n\n- Make an effort to make non-Indian friends. It’s really intimidating even as an Indian to see large packs of Indian men\n\n- Learn how to swim. Every year we have multiple drownings at a lake because Indian people are unprepared for the reality of the water. This is a basic safety skill.\n\n- Stop staring at women. Even as an Indian woman I get stared at by these guys. Just stop. \n\n- Get headphones. Playing music or having conversations on speakerphone in public places is rude and very inconsiderate of others \n\n- Stop cheating. Whether that’s cheating the system or during classes. We grow up here and environment that even though we can cheat, the culture makes it completely unethical and you just don’t. The consequences are significant. I get it that you come from a country that doesn’t have enough resources for its population, but you give the entire Indian community a bad name when you cheat, lie, and do other unethical things.\n\n- Learn about Canadian values. The Canadian charter of rights and freedoms exists. Under it cases were won supporting equality for women, LGBTQ rights, etc. this is built into our constitution and it’s so ridiculous to come across people who don’t adopt Canadian values. Why choose Canada if you want a culture of what’s back at home. \n\n- I get it that our healthcare system needs to improve but am disappointing reading advocacy for private healthcare in Indian Facebook groups in Canada. Tommy Douglas was voted as the greatest Canadian. He is the founding father of our nationalized healthcare system. For the most part, Canadian are happy that we don’t have a healthcare system like the United States, where your access is determined by your employer or your income. We don’t go bankrupt when we have a health emergency. Go back to India or go to another place where you can pay for private healthcare, but stop advocating to transition our healthcare system to a private system. While you’re at it go look up who was determined to be some of the greatest Canadians.

Also I am going to be very honest at fast food places like Tim Hortons and KFC as I have had these experiences they are rude to women. I am also looking. In canada there is unrganised land for sale. No buildng permits or no municipal taxes. A new trend is offgrid communuties. I see this as our future. Some comes with your own well on haf acre land. Ony fee is sharing small fee toward plowing road in winter. If you want it or do it yourself. Can be one hour near healthcare and groceries. I can go 3 months without needing shopping presently. You must love nature and homesteading on natural diet, some technical aptitude helpful for solar energy with fuel backup.

Canada is not a good country to live in, there are many better options today, as shown by the number of Canadians leaving. You will basically live to pay taxes for a corrupt govt and you will not be free to choose the life you want. You are a lot better of in any country in Europe, like Spain, Italy or even Denmark, also better off in Asia, like in Malaysia or the Philippines, and even in South America, like in Argentina or Paraguay.\nMost Canadians ignore that Canada is bankrupt and collapsed, but it's getting worse and it will be too late when they do. I fully agree with you. The International Students, most of them have no manners and are rude. I use public transport. Some don't pay fares, talk loudly in their language either on the phones or in a group. They push to get in or out of the buses. They have taken away jobs from our youth, who are citizens of Canada. They signed on the documents that they would go back to their country after studies, but NO, they want PR. That was their intention in the first place. They are inconsiderate of others. They have no respect for others. It's just them. How can we say they are the future generation of this country, who also cheat the system. There are also some Indians, Muslims who have recently, I would say 10-12 years moved to Canada, do the same as above, including loud music in their cars, noisy cars, litter and spit, also spit red liquid on the grounds, etc., it is annoying. They come here thinking they can do whatever they want to do it's their freedom in a free country. We also see that there are scammers from Call Centres in India who have scammed so many innocent Canadians, including some Seniors.
