This is addressed mainly to the ugly Indian: My generation came to the racist west and built a golden reputation. We worked hard, assimilated, paid our taxes, and obeyed the laws. We were humble. We celebrated our native cultures within the confines of our communities. While it was frustrating to be invisible in white culture, we never sought to conquer them with our culture. We were ethical to the hilt. Our generations were poor -- yet we struggled to help others in India and in the west. We were NEVER on the dole. As an Indian living in Australia, i support the rejection of visas. Indian behave like they're living in India. Ladies in my class from punjab will speak only punjabi and ask desi lectures if they can teach the class in Hindi. \nAlso occasionally the khalistanis will do demonstrations here creating traffic. \nMany indians visiting nearby Vietnamese cities lile bali also disrespect locals there. I'm Australian of Indian origin and i support the rejection it should be more strict than now, have you seen how Indian behaves after they get visas, On Indian talent haha 95% indian's are unemployable and most of the Punjab, Haryana and Gujrat has fake degrees. These reasons may be applicable for few. But in general even if the visa applicant is educated and valid reason to travel, the visa gets rejected and no valid reason is given. \n\nEducation and civic sense issues are there, but not everyone is from that class, so cannot generalise. \n\nWe as Indians must learn to talk well about ourselves.

I don’t know about rest of the world but in the US alone, 700,000 Indians entered the country either illegally or overstayed their US visa just last year alone. In Canada, some Indian international students were discovered to have forged their education documents and now have been deported. Temporary workers are demanding permanent residency after work visa extensions have been cancelled due to housing shortages & increasing unemployment rate. \n\nIndian people in general are good workers but these protest aren’t helping and demanding they be allowed to stay while their documents are forged is upsetting Canadians.
