Excellent speech! I believe that all US Tarif affected countries and regions should seek a closer economic cooperation. The world is much bigger than the US and I'm confident that there are other opportunities to be found. By the way, I watched an interview with Chrystia Freeland this morning. She had an interesting suggestion: put 100% Tarifs on Tesla cars. Excellent suggestion that caries a strong message the US government!

I'm all for legal immigration but I don't think the US can handle any more people at the moment. I don't know about anyone else, but it's been brutal for me personally to find a job for a couple of months just to get by until my other job is good to go for the season. I've never had to claim unemployment (I always found another job within a week or two), and I've been suffering for the past 6 months. I'm more than qualified for some of the applications I have filled out, but yet I feel like just because I'm a white woman, I get skipped over. I've applied to around 50-70 jobs and only had 2 interviews. Thankfully, I still live at home, but if i didn't, I'd be wayyy more screwed. I believe America needs to take care of it's legal citizens first, then we can worry about others.

There are enough trans athletes in the world and good enough shape to compete on a world in Olympic level and all the levels beneath those, that I'm going to say that if someone transitions who is already in the military and they can still pass all the requirements to remain in the military, they should be allowed to remain in the military. Edward Snowden, while in boot camp, and correct me if I'm wrong but I think he was training as a Navy SEAL, hopped off his bunk and his shins that were already broken disconnected and threw him on the floor. After his surgeries and Rehabilitation he was allowed to return to training. And this was with two broken legs that took weeks to announce themselves by disconnecting and misaligning to the point he could no longer Walk and Run on them. If he can do that then somebody suffering through all the crap that they have to go to go through to become another gender and the hormone balance they have to maintain afterward and they can still do their job they can still get in the rain, they can still run an easy 10 before breakfast, with a full pack they can still Shoot Straight they can still command they can still follow they still love this country and want to uphold our Constitution and defend it against all enemies foreign and domestic, then they should be allowed to stay in the military. A physical and mental Fitness is all that's required then I'm going to say this officer qualifies. Now what about the mental problem of being a man and considering yourself a woman or being a woman and considering yourself a man? I have a hard time believing that our government finds so much money to allow illegals to function. I’m a veteran so I have had the opportunity to visit other countries and you can’t pull that crap anywhere but here. You can’t work or rent or anything without proper paperwork. Our government should just takeover the Mexican government and end the corruption that keeps these talented and hardworking people down so much they risk everything to get here to do what they should be able to do there. So since they want to be over here so bad let’s just take the country and start taxing them like real Americans. Sorta like a new Puerto Rico but much closer.

A lot of us Americans remember learning about the tariff wars in history class that ended up in deciding fair trade was the better route. I fear we’re about to learn the same lesson again…\n\nAs far as the drug trade goes apparently the GOV doesn’t spend enough time on the internet because the cartels are no longer just in Mexico they’re in the USA and in Canada. They have learned the Canadian border is a lot easier to cross and they can get into BC pretty easily due to relaxed immigration policies In Canada.. they probably don’t actually know where the drugs are coming from or where they’re being manufactured entirely. The cartels are probably a step ahead of them at the moment. \n\nI can’t believe the auto industry lobbyists were not instructed to go full send on the detriment of the opposite position taken from the NAFTA. The only thing I can see is auto sales are slumping and maybe they can blame this on the tariff policy for massive restructuring. \n\nI kind of understand wanting to negotiate with Mexico because they probably buy less American goods than Americans buy Mexican goods (drugs excluding) but I’m guessing Canada is a better customer of American goods than Americans are of Canadian goods. Why would you want to upset a good partner, customer, and ally!? It’s Beyond my comprehension…. If Trump was really smart he’d convince some factories to actually invest in Mexico with cooperation from the Mexican government investing in efficient transportation from the manufacturing sectors to the American border and the coasts for distribution. This would likely really help their economy and change the whole dynamic of all the things Trump has issues with. Fix it at the source not try to treat the symptoms.

I’ve been waiting for my husbands marriage visa for 14 months freezing the legal visa processes for Colombians who are married to a U.S. disabled veteran citizen born and raised in the Midwest is wrong. I pray the President restarts processing legal visas for this married to U.S. citizens \nI am not able to walk well and my only caregiver is my husband so I’m stuck in colombia until my husbands visa is approved. Good. Less immigration is what all Canadians want. I’m the child of immigrants I believe immigration is a good thing. But not the way it has been completely ruined by this government. I went through this twice during COVID. Two tenants stopped paying one after the other and lost over 50k. Sadly, the only option is to take her to small claims court but in order to do that you need an eviction order and sheriff documents. Even if he does get to that point, they can o lay garnish her wages and at that point, she can avoid paying and jump from place to place changing addresses info and job details. Professional renters know the system and they work it to screw the landlords. One tenant I had actually believed that if they rent the house they “own the home”. Even if you call the police they won’t do anything. If the government just allowed the police to arrest and charge these people I think it would help but they don’t. It’s horrible. I’m actually thinking of selling my home because of the financial burden it’s been post COVID. I have good tenants now but only after using most of the equity to pay off the damage and missed rent from the last 3 tenants….
