If I was there and seen them blocking roads or gathering like this, I would throw my jingle dress on and pray to god and jesus and then take my drum and start singing my first nations music 🎶 super loudly and get all my brother's and sister's to join. Enough is enough. I lost my job to corporate restructuring and running out of ei now, and I am beyond pissed off! All the years worked and contributing to my ei insurance, should equal how many months of ei i should actually be eligible for, but nope, its only for a certain amount of weeks according to their unemployment rate, which is severely flawed, because how can their unemployment rate remain unchanged for so many years, when you hear of thousands losing their jobs. We are being lied to and deceived, and I am sick and tired of it and me and some of my family members have even contemplated changing our names to an indian name, just to get a job!!! That's when you know it's a serious problem! Immigrants need to go back to their own country! Our families are suffering, especially our youth and children! And I am so worried for my daughter's and granddaughter's. Their belief system isn't kind to us females.

In regards to the job issue, I wonder if allowing only a certain number of a certain demographic to be hired as opposes to giving majority of the jobs to that one demographic? Or maybe removing the wage subsidies? Is canada even in a financial position to be subsidizing wages? I don’t know if that would help….. just a thought.

I'm disabled. I live off of $850 per month. That has to cover food, clothing, bills, household needs, medical, laundry, and transit. Yes, I had a working life before I became disabled so I paid into the system which I now need. I have uncovered medical needs that I can no longer meet. (Very rare solar allergy which also includes reactionsto certain lights on the visible light spectrum such as blue and white light) No vacations, no cable or internet, second hand clothing, no outings, no funds to have food delivered. I have to take the risk and use public transit which comes with medical consequences every time. I've had food poisoning three months in a row. Each month becomes harder. I feel like I'm drowning. My son can't find a job either. Canada is collapsing.

When you work with certain people they go to management and lie about you so you can be fired. Then they bring in their own kind to replace you. There is a lot that I can say.

We need English competency tests immigrants (and possibly a French as well). Many immigrants speak broken basic English and have difficulty with even intermediate English skills. If I wanted to move to Italy, I should be able to speak a certain standard of Italian.

I am a newly arriving immigrant Indian. Been a year now and I have a good job and I am really loving what Canada has to offer. I agree with the frustration - I find myself cringing at the videos of people violating public norms of decency, and the job market is really bad now for services as companies are employing a lot of migrants for a cheaper price. Immigration control, regulation of companies so they cant go below a %age of Canadian citizen/residents along with effective government stimuli to boost the economy by targetting certain industries will tackle a lot of the problems. As for people discarding garbage anywhere and other unwanted behavior - name and shame. These videos are also going public at least in India as a source of great shame and the more eyes on it, the less people will repeat things of this nature.

As an immigrant I highly agree…IF YOU CAME TO ANOTHER COUNTRY FOR A BETTER AND PEACEFUL LIFE YOU SHOULD EMIGRATE, RESPECT AND BECOME PART OF THAT COUNTRYS’ CULTURE AND NOT TRY TO DESTROY IT. I think due to the prosperity and stability Canada has enjoyed for so long Canadians have developed a certain standard of living and expectations in regards to that. So no, we don't want to have to work 2-3 minimum wage paying jobs to get by, no we don't want to live 4 or more to a 400 sqft studio apartment, yes we want to be able to afford our own homes, yes we want to be able to achieve a stable middle class lifestyle. That doesn't work for the crony capitalists who's greed and lust for power always needs satiating. So we have the Liberal government bringing in more immigrants than we have infrastructure to accommodate in an effort to keep wages down so profits can always be up. Immigrants who are willing to accept a lower quality of life than what most Canadians expect/accustom to because it's still superior to where they came from. So the quality of life for all Canadians is exponentially reduced. We are to accept a lower quality of life and if we resist then we are branded with all kinds of derogatory names; racist, xenophobe, fascist, unacceptable fringe, far-right extremists, et al. What's undeniable is that before the Liberals took power in 2015 we had an immigration system in Canada that worked quite well and that since the Liberals took power our immigration system is a destructive mess. There is a huge opportunity for the rest of the world to lower the economic influence that the US has over us.\n\nThe other large importers of US products should get together and, where available, smash out interim tariff free trade agreements across certain products. Replace US products with alternatives from other countries.\n\nThis will improve diplomatic ties, improve the economic position of these countries and weaken US influence.
