I am a double hater cant stand Trump and I am a farmer, i dont use immigrants because i just grow crops that can be mechanically harvested and I have a small farm, But in the past I used to manage large farms where we had a lot of immigrants most were illegal and people don't understand why they're illegal It's because there is an arbitrary cap on how many migrants can come from Guatemala and Mexico if they wanted to come legally just a normal worker They have a 60-year waiting list so it's just impossible to come here legally. Most of these people are very hardworking good people that come here to work for 5 to 7 years save up money and then go back to Mexico or Guatemala build a house and start a business in their own country. \n\nThis year i begrudgingly voted for trump because for me the biggest issue is with the federal and state regulations that make farming much harder than it needs to be especially regulations on diesel engine emissions that cost me tens of thousands of dollars a year and many months of not being able to use my equipment that I spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on. And Kamala was the one who enforced the CARB emmisions standards that diesel engine manufactures have to comply with to sell into California which is the biggest consumer of these engines. \n\nLike right now I have my pickup truck that's been down for 6 months because of emissions problems and so many of the vehicles have emissions problems that the parts to fix it don't even have an ETA because they need to fix so many trucks and I have two other tractors broke down that I can't use all my friends that are farmers have a lot more and dems want to significantly increase emmisions standards in 2026. \n\nYou simply can't grow food at scale without reliable diesel engines There is no alternative The vast majority of food is planted and harvested mechanically in the US The bigger issue with food is not well illegals get deported It is will the diesel engines run to harvest 90% of the calories in plant them. \n\nWe have robots that can milk the cows most of the things that migrants harvest can be harvested mechanically and they are in other parts of the world It's just cheaper to do it with labor once that's not the case it will be mechanized. I would prefer to keep migrants here but give them legal working status if they have productive jobs and they pay tax.

The process is not the same as it was in the 80s when they did not require renewal every couple yrs w high $ and rules to return to home country for a set amount of time risking losing your home/job/business etc. Some renewal process for green cards have sped up but still takes 6-1yr and a new green card renewal and new one for Mexico can take 1-3yrs for approval. So someone that’s been here +20yrs will have to leave everything they have built here to go wait quite a long time. Its not if you agree how they got here, its what they have done in our country since being here. They add to our economy, +80% pay taxes to never get any of those benefits and they open businesses employing people etc. If they have been here committing a list of crimes then no i don’t agree but majority of immigrants don’t do that. The problem I have with Indians is that they dont like Canadians, make no effort to learn the language and culture, are very rude, entitled and disrespectful towards anyone that dont look like them. Then why are you here in Canada? This is a very multicultural country, which is something they obviously knew before coming here. Well Indians go to Canada to work. They dont start fights or cause problems. If they are all living in one area what’s the problem? They are here in the UAE as well and live more or less in a community. Does not mean they don’t integrate. I have cousins in Ontario who have married non Indians. Canada is only 40 million people yet they have immigrated almost 25% of theyre population (7 million) in 2 decades. I'm 52 years old and a Canadian citizen my whole life. Canada has always been a welcoming country. I have friends from every part of the world here in Canada. But in the couple years there has been a brutal influx of Indians in Canada. My build alone had maybe 3 Indian households. Now more than 60% of the building is indians. And the problem is 6 to 8 people living in a 2 bedroom apartment. We use to have 1 garbage bin in the basement. Now we have 3 and they are over flowing and they leave garbage everywhere( I've watched them do it). Not everyone has house keys so they leave the security door open all hours of the day allowing criminals to get into the building. They have shit in the laundry room and the garage(I have seen this happen). They smoke in the building halls and lobby. They Dont use laundry detergent when washing their clothes so the laundry machines stink really bad. I have to was the laundry machine before even putting my clothes in.Also they have taken every job in the business in my neighborhood. They aren't very friendly. They come into my restaurant and act like entitled brats and hang out for 6 to 7 hours in groups of 20 and don't tip. They're loud and demanding. Now our regular client's have stopped coming. Since these new Indians have come here they have tainted everything. I have never been a racist individual in my whole life. My family is very diverse. We are white, black, packistan, and Asian. In the last 3 years I am so disgusted in the quality of people that have been coming to this country. The biggest group is Indians. I'm sorry but be don't need any more of these assholes. Every country has its own problems i believe.\nBut what i have seen here is the taxes we pay gets paid back in terms of continuously improving infrastructure, free healthcare and free education. No Offence to anyone but when you applied to come here as a student or tfw you had to prove and swear that you will go back home once your studies or work permit is done , its a part of the cbsa and irrc questioning if your protesting you are breaking the rules and laws of your visa and you are subject to deportation because you lied to immigration and the cbsa , i lived in another country for 3 years during covid i could stay up to 3 years with my visa , my last renewal the officer told me sir this is the last renewal you will have to leave so that is what i did i respected the laws of the host country and went home , i feel sorry the students were lied to by the schools the government and THEIR own People telling them they will get pr give us 20k-30k cdn $ but thats not our problem .... vet the agencies yourself before applying , come here legally and there is no issue , but don't think our country has to give you pr or CITIZONSHIP just because you spent allot of money or worked here pr and CITIZONSHIP is a privilege NOT A RIGHT , when you had the interview with immigration and the cbsa what did you Promise i will leave didn't you ? time to start packing like i did go home and better your country with the knowledge you go from here if you dont break the rules you can always come back Legally god bless and good luck

The problem of Canada not being able to sustain itself is not the fault of anybody but Canadians. You dont MAKE anything here. Not even stuff you need! Stop buying everything from other countries and start keeping your money in your pockets by filling the needs of your own populace without blowing 3M and China.

Not sure that this fixes modern day slavery? It was a housing problem... the workers need housing but takes up most of the minimum wage they recieve ... and then saying its because kids cant get jobs? Its not even true... the kids dont want to work.

Canada is a HUGE country with a LOT of resources, there is only like 40m people in the second biggest country in the world! \ndont let the gov fool you into thinking that a bunch of illeagals are the problem.. its clearly a distraction.\n\nbut dont get me wrong, illeagal immigration must be regulated.. it can result in higher crime.. some illeagals are criminals who escaped from punishment in their home country
